4 RV Parks near La Pryor, Texas
Mar 2019 - $30.00
Helpful, friendly, pretty, shady, well maintained, lots of cable channels. Cheap laundry (but must start last load by 3:30 as it is not open after 5. Easy in. Close to HEB. All the things one could want when one stays in an RV park. The only ding is for the road noise. But that died down at night to pretty much nothing. - ALbums

We stayed here overnight on our way to Big Bend. The park is full of snowbirds and full-timers, but it's well kept. The issue we had was that it is full of trees, with branches that encroach on the roads, which are tight anyway. We have a 38 foot coach and had to be very careful getting into and out of our site. Our site was a pull-through, but was so short we had to disconnect the toad just for the overnight stay. Also, there was a tree with branches just a few inches from the roof. In fact, the tree brushed part of the roof as we moved into the spot. Glad there was no wind. Not a bad park but will look at other options if back in the area for a stopover. - Buckeyefan4

This park is mostly for snowbirds and full time residents, but they had a few open spaces. The people were very nice and helpful. Laundry room was excellent. Park was clean and pretty. - Rver at heart

We stayed in site #10, might have been the longest back in site I've ever had. This site backs up to the river. It was probably close to a mile to walk down to the lake from our site, but it was a great place to walk the dogs. The sites were very spacious. They had a nice laundry: $2/load and $1 to dry. - joe_jack

We were in a pull through site, but others in our group used back in sites. They were level, gravel sites. The area we were in was near a creek and surrounded by trees with lots of room for outdoor games and social times. The clubhouse was clean and neat with a standard home-style kitchen. There was a very large covered patio with numerous grills available for us to use. The staff was very nice. The manager of the ranch, on which this park is located, came by nightly to check on us and even took a bunch of us on a tour of the ranch. I would heartily recommend this park as a getaway place for anyone who just wants to relax. - Marty H

This is a great campground right on a river with easy access to fishing. There's a great clubhouse with lots of games, a full kitchen, and a huge patio with several grills that overlooks the river. This campground is located on a working ranch that also has exotic animals (NOT used for hunting) so besides cattle we even saw some zebras! Staff were super friendly and the ranch foreman stopped by daily to make sure everything was working or if we needed anything. He even sat around the fire with us. The only unfortunate thing is the location of this campground. It is out in the middle of nowhere. But the night skies were beautiful. - davis0056
