Travelers N RV Park changed ownership in January 2018. The whole place has been updated with concrete pads, several of which are pull through and a bunch of other improvements. It's now called J's RV Park. - Larry Bartley
Oct 2011 - $20.00
Older campground with a number of old trailers & RVs with permanent residents. You will be under large old oaks. Campground is quiet & good for a one night stay. Manager is pleasant and very helpful. - Peter K

A place to get off the road for overnight. - midnightpumpkin
Feb 2017 - $27.00
This is a gravel lot with hookups right on the side of the road. Most of the spaces are occupied by long termers and not the ones you would take home to meet the family - if you know what I mean. Wish I had known about this site before I visited this place up. - Dead Mule John
Nov 2010 - $23.00
Just a gravel parking lot along side the highway, this park offers nothing more than a place to overnight. Some large trees offer a bit of shade, but sites have no grass, tables, and are only identified by the hookups. Almost exclusively long term residents; we were the only transient RV during our stay. Free cable TV and good Wi-Fi, and Verizon cell was marginal and there was no aircard service. The manager was very friendly, and the park is convenient to shopping and dining in Brownwood. This is the only park in town, and next time we'll adjust our schedule to avoid overnighting in the area. - Meanderman

Delightful little park right up against Pecan Bayou. Just 26 sites, but the park is neat and clean as can be. All 26 sites are full hook-up, pull throughs. And they have to be pull-throughs because every site is entered from the street directly in front of the park. Have never seen that before. But each site has a concrete pad, conveniently placed hook-up pedestals and there are some large trees scattered around to provide some shade. The one interior road is paved and has a couple of gentle curves at each end. Sites are long enough to handle big rigs. This is probably not a destination park, but it is perfect for overnighting or maybe 2-3 days stay. We'd stay here next time we're passing through. - boardman

Park is along the Pecan Bayou just north of Hwy 337 - but cannot hear the road sounds. Level sites - all paved - all hook up features available and a pretty good wifi signal - the bathrooms were clean and fully enclosed. Looked like some long-time residents were there but everything was neat and tidy. A big city park just across the lane - we actually saw deer in the early evenings over there. There was also a nice deck near the river - good for viewing or visiting. All in all I would recommend this park. Good stopover or a good destination location for a few days. We enjoyed Brownwood very much and will go back to this park as well. - EllieMae Erskine

This is a nice little park for a quick overnight stay as we head to our next destination. It's very easy in and very easy out. Site had to be 70-80 feet long. Handled my Phaeton and toad with lots of room to spare. Decent internet......and the price is right! - Phaeton01
