I lived in this park for about six months and I am very glad I moved to a different park (Shallow Creek RV Resort in Gladewater, TX). This was basically privately owned land that the owner had put many RV sites on. It was not well kept, had all dirt roads that were VERY bumpy, and some of the residents were very loud. I used the laundry facilities once and never did again because my clothes stunk after they were done. They were very nasty facilities. The trees are pine trees and dripped all over my trailer. I am still working on cleaning up the mess. The owner is very strange and has a lot of rules that no one seems to follow anyway. The sites are not paved in any way. I would not recommend staying at this park. Instead, try Shallow Creek RV Resort in Gladewater, TX. - A.J Meals
Oct 2017 - $15.00
Nice, well maintained little park. Great rate at $15/night for 20/30/50 and water. Large, level, back in site fit both truck and trailer with no need to disconnect. Unfortunately, contrary to what other reviewers said, my stay was not quiet at all, even with the park empty. Locals were cruising the adjacent street with music turned way up all night long. A few drove through the campground and left when they saw the camper. Barking dog at one of the neighboring homes and several trains throughout the night. Might be different during the week, but I would not return on a Saturday night. And probably would not return at all. Just too loud. - RV_CamperGuy
Sep 2016 - $15.00
This was a great find. Elec and water. Has dump station on the way out. Very quiet. Nice park connected with children's playground and tennis court. Nice walking path. If you're between Dallas and Shreveport on I-20, check it out. Probably not a good park if your RV is longer than 34 ft. - LisaTom
Sep 2016 - $15.00
Very nice park, well maintained, clean and quiet. No working 50 amp at any of the sites the night we stayed there, but 30 amp was fine with the use of an adaptor. There is no sewer hookup at the sites but there is a dump station. As other reviewer wrote: "The RV park entrance is on the west side at South Commerce street between Harris Street and West Woodlawn (Hwy 42)." We will stay there again when in the area. - Mom_of_Two
Sep 2017 - $25.00
This is more of a Trailer Park/RV Park combination. Many sites are occupied by long term clients with some trailers in a state of deferred maintenance. Our site was large enough to accommodate our 40 ft 5th wheel and large truck with an 8 ft bed. The owner is very nice and helpful. The laundry room and bathroom/showers are in a secured building with a combination lock and are very clean. Laundry room has 6 washers and 6 dryers. The park is very quiet. This was an overnight stop for us. If we are in the area again I would consider looking for a nicer park but would overnight here again if nothing better is available. - Sheilas Reviews
May 2017 - $25.00
Nice clean quiet RV park. Self-contained RVs only, no toilets or showers. Long graveled sites, room for my disconnected truck in front of my 40' 5th wheel. Back-in, no pull-thru's, no shade. Free Wi-Fi, but not fast. Verizon cell data is good. Laundry room has limited hours. Some long-term residents, but not junky. - B-n-F
Mar 2017 - $13.00
Stayed just 2 nights on our way north through TX. Clean, quiet park with several long-term residents. Friendly owner/manager couple. Sites are slightly sloped but got close to a level for our rig. Just not much more than a basic campground but great at PA price. - Grumpier99
Nov 2016 - $12.00
We stayed here for a couple of nights using the Passport America rate of $12.50. It is sparse, but clean. Sites are all back-in and not really level, but you can level. Owner was very nice. The park is on the outskirts of Henderson, but there was some traffic noise on our weekend stay. Nothing that would disrupt your sleep. The park itself was quiet and peaceful. - User2260
May 2011 - $20.00
Stayed at the Lake Tyler Marina for 2 months. We enjoyed it very much. Friendly, peaceful and quiet. Somewhat primitive, we were in RV Park 2, Water front, with no sewer hookups. They did come and dump our tanks 3 times a week (included in Rent). If you are looking for a resort this is not for you. It is what it is. The South Lake Grill is awesome, great food and entertainment. Being in a dry County a great place to go for a cold one. Hope to go back there again next year. - RiverRVers
Jan 2009 - $20.00
The park has a lot of permanent occupants. It has a lot of potential but unfortunately has been allowed to decline. The bathrooms remain in disrepair by abuse of the occupants. Being the only RV park on the lake it has little competition. - TexasRVer
Feb 2019 - $33.00
Quiet park with concrete roads and pads. Lots of rain when we stayed and roads and sites dry. We asked about the exercise room and were told only for long term residents. Lots of Permanent residents but sites all very tidy. Hot tub was enclosed out doors. Did not look inviting at all. - sp123
Nov 2018 - $30.00
Nice park with concrete pads, good room between sites, and solid utilities. The road to exit the park is a bit tight. Wifi was decent. The only dings are that the sites are a bit unlevel front to rear. Why go to the trouble and expense of pouring concrete and not making it level. The front tires on our 40' coach were barely touching the ground when we got level and I saw several others the same way. Nice long sites with good parking. Another ding was the bugs and spiders in the pedestal. How much does it take to wipe things down occasionally? Little things make an impression. Having said all that, it is a nice park and we would stay again. - Pjoe
Jun 2018 - $30.00
The park is made up of all concrete pads and roads and is convenient to Longview or Tyler. Staff was very nice and the park was clean and pretty well kept. Most sites are not level, but not a major problem. On the other hand, the exit could be a problem for longer, lower rigs. We will stay here again. - mfcros
Nov 2012 - $20.00
The location of this park is convenient because it is close to town but other than that, it leaves little to be desired. It does have a clean laundry facility. However, it is located behind an auto-body shop and next to a phone company. Your surroundings consist of a small salvage yard, sheds, and equipment the phone company stores behind its building. Privacy fences would help improve the look a bit. There always seemed to be a smell of sewage in the air. Some cement slabs available otherwise it is gravel or grass. A lot of permanent residents stay there. There were 3 cases of theft in the park during our short stay. Bottom line, we did not feel safe. I don't think we would stay again. - PipelinersToo
Aug 2011 - $25.00
My family just moved from this RV park and if you are staying in Henderson Texas this is the RV park you want to stay at. The owner is a Wonderful Christian man and is a Joy. My family stayed there for almost 2 yrs and I met so many wonderful people there. I also met a women that is my best friend, I miss her so much but got transferred back home. But let me tell ya this is a beautiful and wonderful place to stay. - sherrylwarner
Feb 2019 - $40.00
First comment: Do NOT stop at the 1st rv park after getting off interstate. Go the the next rv park on on left. Rate does include tax. This is a relatively new, attractive park with all concrete pad and roads. It is extremely clean. Offers private venue parties/weddings just off the property...no interference with rv park. Cable was excellent. Nice and quiet park. We would stay again if in the area. - Bob & Ann
Nov 2018 - $36.00

Nov 2018 - $36.00
Level concrete pad. Convenient hookups; gravity sewer. - MSTraveler
Oct 2015 - $26.00
Made reservations prior and arrived Sunday. Office was closed and no envelope for us. The camp host did not know we were arriving. A poor start but found the park satisfactory.
A cleaning lady made us feel welcome, contacted the park host, and overall did a great job helping us.
Park was clean, sites have concrete pads, grass between sites. All utilities worked well.
We found a constant noise from a motor running on the property close by. Not extremely loud but consistent.
Overall a good place for an overnight. - RDRV
Sep 2015 - $26.00
Nice park, large level gravel pull-throughs. Individual bath/showers, very clean. Note that they no longer except PPA. Slightly disappointed because it was one of the reasons I chose the park. - SnowBird 5050
May 2015 - $26.00
We arrived on a rainy, stormy evening and were greeted with a warm welcome from the office staff. We were given plenty of information on local places of interest. Our site was a level concrete pad that was much appreciated during the huge downpour. The amenities were absolutely first class and we really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were super friendly and we take away some lovely memories of a great night of music. - KenandCathy
Jul 2017 - $25.00
A new reasonable rated park. Great rates best locally. Your close to everything in Gladewater. pizza hut is a mile away, Brookshire's Grocery Market is too, also Ace Hardware, some Dollar stores in town, lots of Antique stores down town Gladewater. Lots of restaurants in town. Kilgore oil museum. This is located in between Longview and Tyler great home base for exploring East Texas. - JustDon
