Overall Rating:

This is our second stay at Rayford Crossing and it is excellent. We'd like to forget our first stay as we were trapped without power or water due to extreme t'storms and high water, no fault of the CG and they gave us a full refund. This visit was flawless! This CG is a gem hidden in Spring TX. All concrete and grass. The pads have enough slope to drain but in general level. Very clean and very well maintained. I could hear a train in the distance which passes by maybe a mile or so away but it didn't bother the Bride or me at all. Other than that it was QUIET. Very nice pool and nice but small clubhouse. Very friendly staff. We camped at Rayford Crossing RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a beautiful park with quality amenities. Our site (#8) was a bac-in along the perimeter. We had good shade part of the day. All sites have wide concrete pads/patios - most pull-through. Bathrooms are modern, spacious and spotlessly clean with individual shower rooms. Laundry is likewise excellent. The pool area is resort quality, as are the other amenities.
We highly recommend this park. We camped at Rayford Crossing RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: March, 2019 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

Medium size park with 86 pull through sites, 26 back in sites and 3 rental cabins. All sites are concrete, FHU with cable and picnic table. Interior roads are also concrete and wide, but the turns can be tight for big rigs (there are large boulders on the corners). There is decent separation between sites with grass and a few trees that provide shade. There are lots of trees around the perimeter of the park giving it a quiet, tranquil feel. The pull through sites are long and easy to get in/out of. Back in sites are shorter, but double wide to allow parking for a tow vehicle. We stayed in site 47, a pull through site which was nicely level towards the rear of the park. We had originally booked a different site but were told on arrival we had been moved to accommodate a rally. I spoke to the manager (who was fantastic), and he gave us credit for two nights of our stay. Some sites aren't quite level, especially sites 105 to 115 which have a noticeable front to back slope. The park has very nice amenities such as a pool (heated March through December), hot tub, dog park, fishing pond, playground, horseshoes, shuffleboard, outdoor BBQ pavilion, clubhouse, large laundry area, library and fitness center. Bathrooms consisted of two private toilets and four private showers per gender, all of which were cleaned daily and nicely appointed. They also have several birdcages with a variety of birds which were interesting. Store has a decent selection of RV supplies, drinks (including beer & wine), ice cream and snacks. You can set your propane tank outside and they will fill it for you. Free wifi but we didn't use. Utilities worked well and Verizon service was good. Daily trash pickup at your site. Some of the cable channels were fuzzy/grainy. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will return. Currently, they are doing roadwork on Rayford road so expect lane closures/delays. Kroger grocery store and Walmart are a few miles from the park. Traffic on I-45 is terrible especially at rush hour, so avoid if you can. We camped at Rayford Crossing RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Fantastic place to stay. Streets and sites are all concrete. Staff is outstanding. Friendly, helpful, and go out of thier way to make your stay a good one. They also organize events for the community to meet each other and mingle. It's tucked back in a residential neighborhood so it's a little out of the way to get to but worth it. Close to all the things to do in Houston and the Woodlands. We understand the road was blocked by high water during hurricane Harvey but the RV park did not flood despite historic rainfall. We will be staying here again!!! We camped at Rayford Crossing RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This park is in a good location close to the Woodlands and about 35 minutes from downtown Houston at non traffic time (about an hour during traffic time). It sits off the main path so quiet and green. Concrete pads with grass in between sites. Our site was not as level as we would have liked for our 45ft motor coach, but doable. Staff are nice and helpful. Everything you could possibly need with regards to shopping and services is close by. Note that the Costco that is about 15 miles away sells Diesel and is easy to access in a large motor coach. We camped at Rayford Crossing RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Roberto's Mexican food is authentic and very good. There is a large HEB and a Krogers within 5 miles. Also, if you like Texas brisket Cork Screw BBQ in Spring is a must. Their coleslaw and potato salad are exceptional.

Gem of a park, hidden away from the city traffic and noise. Our stay was fantastic right from check-in where the park's GM was so friendly and helpful. The grounds are immaculately clean, spaces have a little "elbow room" and there are plenty of amenities for all ages. Will definitely be back. We camped at Rayford Crossing RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

A few complaints. There were ants all over our campsite and they were already crawling up our front jacks as soon as we set up and were all over the picnic table in our space. I had to go to a nearby store after a long day's drive and setting up in the park to buy some ant spray to keep them out of our trailer. Our site was not cleaned off and there was a ton of dirt under and around our picnic table that should have been washed off. Last complaint is that they do NOT enforce the speed limit. People speed through this park and I would not be comfortable with little kids running around here. I'm talking 15 mph speeding. The park is nice overall, pretty quiet with some train and aircraft noise. The area of town is OK and the park is hidden in a semi-rural area of homes and a small ballpark. There is a pet deer that roams the park begging for food. The people who run the park are pleasant to deal with. I think it's overpriced so I don't think I'd come back. The people who lead you to your spot make a big deal of wiping off the picnic table with a rag, but this is mostly for show because we still had to deal with ants all over the table and then all the piled up dirt around it. We camped at Rayford Crossing RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We stayed here 2 nights. It's close to Houston with quick, easy freeway access, but nestled away from the freeway in a very nice and quiet area. Very rustic setting, with tame deer on the property! The staff was super-nice and helpful. The resort was spotless - clean, well maintained, with lots of activities such as pool, hot tub, shuffleboard, BBQ/Smoker area, and more that we didn't have time to check out. Dog friendly, lots of people walking their dogs during the day. Concrete pull-thru pads were level and spacious. Even though there weren't many trees between sites and the sites were somewhat close together, we didn't feel crowded. Only minor nit was the cable TV signal was fuzzy on many channels - if you have a satellite dish then that wouldn't be a concern. Overall we loved this place and would come back in a heartbeat! We camped at Rayford Crossing RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Stayed for 5 nights while in Houston visiting our son and daughter in law. I don't give many 10's, but this place definitely deserves it. Very easy check-in and the staff was very helpful and courteous. Enjoyed playing shuffleboard and ping-pong with our kids. Long list of amenities, many of which we did not have time to use. Bathrooms were always spotless. Laundry room was very nice and reasonably priced. Did have to pay to rent a fire pit, but it did come with decent sized bundle of wood, which was enough for the evening. We camped at Rayford Crossing RV Resort in a Motorhome.

we have stayed here many times. this was a Tiffin Rally booked 8 months ago as the park stays full. Very friendly staff, escorted to site, spotless RESORT, concrete drive and sites ours was a end # 62 so we had extra space. Many winter Texans and worker trailers & 5th wheels. Tips for other Campers:

The Woodlands Development has a lot of commercial buildings and companies- Exxon, etc..plus a great downtown,restaurants- large Mall is all just 15++ minutes depends traffic. Numerous groceries, strip centers , vets, speciality stores are very near the rv park. the park is located down a nice drive on a hard surface road thru a residential area. Adjacent is a stables. Many very friendly folks residing in park. Curb trash pickup. Sites very well maintained - some are closer than others.
