Dec 2018 - $40.00
If you are a fisherman and looking for a woodsy place with lots of space and room between sites, this is it. All spaces are 30 AMP back-in. Some have sewer hook up, some do not. There's no convenience store. Lakeside sites are all taken by long term residents. There's an onsite church and the gaurd station at the gate sells ice. The clubhouse has breakfasts and taco nights. The closest town for shopping is Quinlan, 20 minutes away. - Mnolasco
Sep 2018 - $1.00
We joined Thousand Trails at this preserve in the 80's. Our two boys spent many wonderful carefree days here while growing up. We were on site several years and had to abide by strict rules that no longer seem to matter. I doubt there are many more than 30 sites available to those of us passing through. The rest are either taken up by on siters (who have the best ones) or the electric does not work. Those where the electric does work is questionable. It disturbs us greatly to see what has happened to what was and could be a beautiful resort. I don't think the staff there is to blame as much as corporate for not allocating the funds necessary. We will not stay here again. - PRG
Sep 2018 - $1.00
First - most staff are friendly. One staff member does not know the difference between the definitions of ATTACHED and WRAPPED. It is ok to wrap your garbage on the tree, but you cannot wrap your led lights around the tree. Paper states NOT ATTACHED. Family and Adult pools clean. Cons - Many sites closed due to the lack of maintaining the electrical infrastructure. When temps are in the 90's, sites are closed to try and keep A/C voltage in the range 105 Vac. Yes 105 is good, in their opinion. Sites are not cleaned and are in GREAT need of repair. Trees are not trimmed especially over the campers. There are too many trees - 1 in 5 trees could be removed and you would not notice. - Gatorcq

Quaint, but super clean. Easy access and easy to find. Several long timers noted but sites were well kept. - witchey1
Oct 2017 - $27.00
We always stay here on trips that go in that direction, usually on the way back from a trip. Always enjoy our stay. Have stayed here about 10 or 12 times over the years. Clean restrooms. Lots are very close and have a sunny/open exposure. Site surface is gravel. - RM55--ar
Aug 2016 - $40.00
Stayed for a night on the way to Branson. Nice park with a private lake. The pull-through sites are narrow. I asked for a larger site in the back. Friendly staff and close to all businesses and to I-30. No designated dog run area but plenty of land to walk dogs.
Voltage was good. WiFi only near the office. Will return. - MikMc

Jun 2018 - $24.00
First time to this park. Our site had lots of privacy. There were very few lake view sites. We really didn't get to see much of the park. It was a nice weekend trip from the Dallas area. However the chiggars were very bad. Didn't notice it on Day 1 but by the end of the trip we were covered. Spray, a lot! That would be our only drawback from returning to this park. - CIndy Davis
Apr 2018 - $18.00
We stayed at Cooper Lake SP in April, 2018. We arrived on a Friday, and the park was very busy until Sunday afternoon, when everyone left. There are some nice hiking trails. - kanela
Nov 2017 - $18.00
This large park is scenic and quiet and there is a lot of space and privacy between most camp sites. Parking pads are in great shape although a bit narrow, and most are very shady. Water pressure was 72 PSI, and there was some slope to our site, so bring a water pressure regulator and some boards for leveling. A few sites have a view of the lake through the trees. We stayed in #12 and really liked the privacy and view. We had no problems with insects in November. Utilities are good and Verizon cell phone coverage is available as well as wifi at the office. There is a small store at the office with a few souvenirs. Amenities include hiking trails, fishing piers, boat ramps, and kayak and SUP rentals. There are several large day use areas for swimming and picnicking. Firewood and ice are available at the office, but the nearest groceries are about 20 minutes away in Sulphur Springs. We enjoyed camping, hiking, and boating on this large lake. - BrentB

Utilities are good and Verizon cell phone coverage is available as well as wifi at the office. There is a small store at the office with a few souvenirs. May 2017 - $18.00
We stayed overnight for Mother's Day weekend. We were able to make reservations the day of-- as others have said, this park is not usually very crowded. There were many sites to choose from even being a holiday weekend. The park was clean and amenities include a couple of hiking trails and a small sandy beach swimming area. Our campsite was not technically waterfront, though you could see the water through the trees. It was a short walk through the woods to reach the water. The restrooms were clean and well stocked. Staff were very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay here again! - Kristencm
Oct 2011 - $15.00
We stayed here two nights, very clean, sites with plenty of room between campers. No TV but good reception on Verizon and AT&T. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Quiet setting. - ynnargynnarg

Nice park. Well kept. Friendly owners and friendly guests. Fishing pond and deck for bass and brim. Just off hwy 19 easy to find and get too. We enjoyed our stay and planning another stay real soon. - Jerryjohnston
May 2018 - $30.00
I can't say enough about this park. It's quiet, well landscaped, super owners and the price is right. Sites easy to hit, very level and long enough. Boat ramp if you have one, fishing pond on site and whole atmosphere is pleasant. - tbax46
Apr 2018 - $35.00
Really liked this park. It has a laundry room along with a fishing pond (which seems odd since it borders a lake). Lots of space to play around in (even has a 3 hole frisbee golf course). The sites are kinda close together; but it isn't noisy. Some sites seems to be permanent residents - but doesn't look trashy like some places we've been. - Wandering With Us

Mar 2017 - $27.00
Stayed here while visiting family in the area. Site was very close and overhanging trees made it interesting getting into the site. Full hook ups. No cable but had three or four channels using antenna. AT&T cellular coverage was adequate. WIFI was available and strong in our site. No pool. We were there from Sunday through Wednesday so it was not really crowded. I understand on the tournament weekends it gets crowded. Bathhouse was in need of renovation but is functional. Park worked great for what we needed. We camped here in a travel trailer. - nettms11

Very nice. People very friendly and helpful. Clean and well kept lakeside park. Will be going back there soon! - On the GO Mission
Mar 2013 - $27.00
Good place to stay on Lake Fork. We pulled a boat instead of a toad and they put our boat in the water for us. Beautiful views of the lake and abundant wildlife. Lots of fishing activity. Very good diner on site. We will return. - PositiveOutlook

Superior views of Lake Fork. Park has a boat launch and fishing pier with cleaning station. Many shady sites, with nice spacing between sites. Some sites have especially nice spacing with great lake views. 3 small cabins are also available for rental. Sites have a mix of gravel, grass and paved pads with gravel interior roads. We plan to return next spring for a two month stay, at significantly lower rates than the daily. - cjfteach

The website does not state how many RV sites are in the park. The pictures show a lovely park, but when we got here it was old and somewhat run down. We had made reservations, but it looks like this park is full of full time residents. We are stuck out by the boat ramp and the site is not level. Lake Fork is a great fishing lake, but we are disappointed in this RV park. They have a decent restaurant, but it has a bar which is okay if you are not parked close to it. The people and the cars kept us awake until around 2 a.m. Now I am tired. We will not be back. - Deede

Very friendly. On the water. The shower is a little rustic but clean. New dock and a great for large dogs to play. Lots of bass boat launching. Near state road, some road noise. Super restaurant on site with a huge breakfast for $5. - flbirds
Mar 2008 - $20.00
It's just an OK park. I say this because there was nothing there to make me want to come back. Overall cleanliness of the park was marginal. Camped in a fifth wheel and was out the next day - Caseysplace
Oct 2006 - $20.00
Very quite and clean park. Located on Lake Fork which is a big bass fishing with a lot of boat traffic. Restaurant in park has very good steaks. - TexasRVer

The "pads" were so uneven we could not level our 5th wheel. There were cars parked along the road, very hard to maneuver around, dogs barking and running loose. The dump station on every site was over a foot above the ground, we had to manhandle the hose, very bad. - chiniakbay
