Nice KOA, well off the highway and many trees on the grounds. Would definitely return if in the area. We camped at Brigham City / Perry South KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Nice KOA with easy access to and from I-15, but in a rural area with great views. The park was clean, our pull-through site level and the interior roads easily navigable. My only complaint is that we arrived a little after 1pm after a stressful drive up I-15 through Provo and Salt Lake City (lots of construction and heavy traffic/idiot drivers!) and even though our site was ready, we were charged a $10 early arrival fee because check-in is 2pm. While my first instinct was to sit outside in the truck for 45 minutes, my husband was tired, hungry and fed-up, so I paid the extra fee. We left the next day before the official check-out time of 11am, but there was no refund for that! We camped at Brigham City / Perry South KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Brigham City is an interesting town and worth a visit. Smith's grocery has fuel and a good variety of fresh meat and produce.

Overall Rating:

This KOA was three miles off I 84, which we were originally excited about since there wouldn't be any interstate road noise. We were in a pull through site, number 45, for a Saturday to Sunday overnight stop. The gravel pad was more three or so inch rock than gravel. We had to put our tire legos under the drivers side so our auto level would not take the tires off the ground. This was a little disturbing considering the price of this KOA. I expected a level pad and a little more space between sites. The site was so close to the adjacent site that we could not put out our awning and the BBQ was about three feet from our neighbors sewer drain. The picnic table was warped and bent out of shape due to this site being so unlevel. RVs were very packed in and crowded; several pull through sites actually had two RVs in them butted up to each other. There was no cable but they did have good antenna reception with about 40 channels. We were not guided to our site, which was not a big deal, but usually at KOAs someone comes by to ensure you get settled. Other than check in (very pleasant), we did not talk with anyone. Also, their quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 10:00 AM. This was odd as overnighters often need to get on the road before that time. Next morning, there were motorcycle riders wanting to get going on their ride about 7:00 AM and they literally pushed their bikes out to the road to start them. And there's a 1/2 price charge if you are not out of the park by the 11:00 AM checkout time. We do not have an American Bulldog and haven't ever thought of this breed as being considered dangerous, but this breed was on their restricted list. On the positive side, the WIFI worked well or better than most private campgrounds we've been in. There was also a small off leash pet gated area where you could let them off the leash. We did not use any other facilities. We camped at Brigham City / Perry South KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This is our third time staying here, and the second time under the new owners. The new owners have started to update the park, and the improvements are showing. The owners have been excellent in helping us with our problem, which is not their fault. While we were parked checking in, another in a hurry camper, struck the back of our RV. We had to extend our stay, until we could get parts from Heartland for the repairs. They found us another site we could move into for the extra week. We camped at Brigham City / Perry South KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Book ahead if possible as they fill up most nights. Easy access to Ogden and Salt Lake City. Lots of over night guests. Very distant train noise, but not a bother, and not very often. Walmart and Smiths within 5 miles.

New owners of just 6 months were extremely nice and accommodating. Relocated since we were using satellite and escorted to site. S4 was very narrow with low concrete retaining wall on one side and concrete curb on the other. Level gravel, but no room to sit outside, very close neighbor. Other sites had more room but this was easy exit and able to hook up at site. Nice view of the mountains. Sorry to have missed their ice cream social. All you can eat locally made ice cream for just $3.00! Would stay again especially during peach season! (Late August) We camped at Brigham City / Perry South KOA in a Motorhome.

Well kept park - not much to do in the area so good for one or two night stay. Very quiet away from any major road. There was some distant train noise but not bothersome. The management was very nice and very accommodating. She gave us "her favorite site." #26. It was great. It was level and on the end of an aisle so only a neighbor on one side. More than big enough for us. The bathrooms could use an update but they were clean enough. Wifi was good as was the OTA tv and our satellite. There are some trees so we had to maneuver a bit to get a clear shot but it was fine. Verizon 4G was good too. It appeared there were some long term residents but they would be leaving soon as this park closes October 31st. We would stay again on our way through the area. We camped at Brigham City / Perry South KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Sites very narrow . A little tricky backing into our spot. Park could be a real gem with some work. Power and water was on the wrong side for a motorhome. Electric power on the low side. Staff very knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. There is a ice cream social and a nice pool. Laundry closed at 9:00 you need to have everything done by 7:00 to make sure you are done before they close. Would consider a different RV park next time even though we do a lot of KOA campgrounds. This was a spur-of-the-moment stay as I had no reservations. But they had an open spot. This is an older KOA (since 1964 according to the KOA Directory) and it could use some updating. The spaces are narrow and the neighbor's slideout prevented me from fully deploying my awning. Still, the staff was nice and helpful. Once updated, this would be a real gem of a campground as it is at a nice location. Horses are next door, by the way. We camped at Brigham City / Perry South KOA in a Motorhome.

GPS directions were not accurate. Access was good and close to the freeway. Staff service was minimal. We were extremely frustrated when we found out that we could only do laundry when the office was open. They share open connecting rooms. Consequently, they closed early and did not open until 8 AM. We had to leave our clothes in the washer overnight in order to dry them the next morning. It also screwed up our planned early time to leave that morning. First KOA we have experienced without an accessible laundry. We camped at Brigham City / Perry South KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Really not good, very worn down place. I wanted to do laundry at 5pm and they wouldn't let me saying they were leaving at 8pm. We did not enjoy this place at all, KOA needs to re-rate this one and decide if they want their name on it. We camped at Brigham City / Perry South KOA in a Motorhome.

Booked online for 3 nights. We were very disappointed when we arrived. We found the campground to not be as advertised. The spaces were narrow, dirt patches. Not at all like the pics shown online. The girl checking us in was rushed and spoke really fast. We were given a site, but before we could pull in, an employee came out and said we could not stay there because, even though we could change our coach to 30 amp, it would "melt their power box". We explained that changing to 30 amp, only draws 30, not 50 and would not overload the circuit, but was told we could not stay. (Our motorhome can be changed from 50 to 30 amp, so booked a 30 amp site since there were no 50 amp sites available). He said there was "a sign in BIG letters saying it is not allowed". There was NO indication that was not allowed. The employee did call other campgrounds and found a couple available. We said we would go to century RV park in Ogden, But he did not give them our information. We called while on route to verify the availability and gave them our name. When we arrived, there were only 3 spaces left, so if we haven't called, who knows if there would have been anything open. I thought the designation of KOA meant it was a good place to stay. I guess KOA means nothing at all. We camped at Brigham City / Perry South KOA in a Motorhome.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Please accept our sincere apologies that you were not satisfied during your recent visit to our campground. Unfortunately we do not permit RVs that require 50 amps on any of our 30 amp sites, even if your RV can convert to 30 amp. This is one of our policies here at the campground and can be found on our listings for our RV sites on our website. We appreciate your feedback and wish you all the best.
