Large gravel parking lot. No shade; little grass patches. One family owns the entire town and it shows; open season on tourists. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Great campground. We were in newer section with huge sites. Close to Bryce Canyon. Many services located near by. Had a small lake view. Excellent paved bike trail (for miles) right outside campground. Shuttle service picks up at campground. Very quiet even with many having Razor type vehicles. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed in this campground for a week and very much liked our site. It was large, level and hard packed dirt with a large grassy area. It was dusty when the wind kicked up, but it's to be expected in the west. We used the free shuttle to visit Bryce Canyon NP which is so convenient and the drivers were very knowledgable. We used the laundry which has quite a few machines at the average price. The shower facilities are private individual rooms and were clean. Our site had a water leak and when we informed the office, they sent maintenance over right away. The plumber put a temporary fix on it. We used our water and pump after that so that the site would dry. The wifi was iffy and slow except for early in the AM. Our Verizon cell service was good there. We would stay there again. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a huge campground located just outside Bryce Canyon National Park. The free shuttle (with park admission or pass) picks up just outside the campground. Check in was fast and efficient even though it was very busy. Our site was a dirt pull through in the older section. Most sites in this area appear to be very un-level as was ours. Management did trim some branches for us to allow our slides to extend. Quiet hours were observed, and our stay was pleasant. There are lots of open spaces for walking. Ruby's General Store has a good variety of items reasonably priced for location near the park. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

As for convenience near the park, gas station, restaurant, groceries, etc., you won't find these things in the more remote areas but here. Ruby's Inn has a long history and well deserved. The staff were friendly and efficient. The park offers nice big sites, many long pull thrus. You didn't feel close to your neighbor at all. Given the variety of ways people tried to level their rigs, it's safe to say there probably isn't a level site in the park. There are some newer sites in the back that offer double wide room for rig, tow car and/or trailer for toys. These also have a patch of raised grass and gravel with fire pit. One disadvantage to these sites is if it rains, the "road" is dirt, so it turns into a mess with puddles. The roads in the older area at least offer asphalt, pretty beaten up, but not mud. Most sites are a combo of gravel and dirt, so when it rains or snows, as we got 6 inches one night, the site is pretty much a mess. Nice huge evergreens all around, so if there in the summer, will provide nice shade. Because of the snow and forecast for freezing temps at night and more snow the next day, we bailed out early. We were refunded the nights we didn't stay, which was a nice surprise. I wasn't expecting that. It would be nice if they took some time to better maintain the sites so they are more level and fill in with a better gravel to dirt ratio. Hook ups worked fine. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

My husband and I enjoyed Ruby's. Site 113 was long enough for our 45' motorhome and tow. We were in the trees with plenty of space between us and neighbors. Park is right next to Bryce. Ruby's has a free shuttle to Bryce. Ruby's has everything - restaurants, shopping, etc. Staff that we engaged was friendly and helpful. We had no problems and would stay again. Nothing negative during our stay. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

This is just about the only option for full hooks up close to Bryce. The primary attraction here is convenience. Convenience to the canyon, convenience to the NPS bus shuttle. Convenience to food & what little shopping there is nearby and conscience to fuel. The campground sites, unless you get in the back, are small and close. Lots of trees too and not many trimmed up high or far off the road. If you do get in back the sites are, to use one word, huge. And the back sites have no trees. So for your dollar you may get a big site but more likely not; but you will be one bus stop away from the National Park. We’ve stayed here twice. The folks are friendly and helpful. If coming back it would likely be our choice again. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Right at the entrance to Bryce Canyon National Park. The on site shuttle stop was convenient. The staff were friendly. Paved access roads with gravel side roads to the sites. There is a lot of room to maneuver and access sites. Sites are large with ok spacing. There are two separate areas: One in the trees (older) and one in the open (newer). Each site has a small grass area, a picnic table and fire ring we felt was located too close to RV's. Sewer connection was too high. We did not connect it until we had to dump. Park signage is old and faded. We were in the"older" section and did not have cable, as others have stated they had. We stayed in a 45ft MH w/toad. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Ruby's Inn RV Park Manager, manager at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground responded to this review

Thank you for the review! I'm glad you had a good time and were able to make use of some of our amenities. I hope you have a chance to stay with us again. This year we are freshening up a lot of our signage and adding more. Our sites are located in an area with lots of ponderosa pines and native vegetation just outside the entrance of Bryce Canyon. Thanks again!

Right at the entrance to Bryce Canyon National Park. Ruby's Inn is the only private park in the area. The staff was helpful and friendly. It has paved access roads with gravel side roads to the sites. There is a lot of room to maneuver and access sites. Sites are very large with good spacing. Entrance to some sites are sloped, but still adequate even for large rigs. There are two separate areas. One in the trees and one in the open. Each site has a small grass area, a picnic table and fire ring. All utilities worked well and are convenient. The water hydrant was too low and hard to attach the hose to. There is a very nice bath house with separate showers. For such a large park, it is extremely undersized in the busy season. Since we were there in off season it was not a problem. They have a large tent camping area and tee pees for rent. Rated as Average. We would stay there again. Bryce is at 8000 feet elevation and can be cold. There is a nice bike path along the highway Be prepared for a lot of great hiking opportunities. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Huge RV park which is part of a huge tourist complex. We camped in the back, adjacent to the trees and enjoyed a relatively empty park this late in the season. Sites are spacious and easy to maneuver into. Some have sloped entry making the area to level shorter than the advertised length. Some have side slopes too. The park is sprawling. Some sites have trees, ours was wide open. The utilities are located on the gravel portion, not on the grass areas. I noted a few had been bumped by vehicles or RVs. The site also has square edged curbs and square corners. Not sure why the design wasn't at least rounded corners. Watch the tires! Interior roads were OK, bushed a few low branches on the exit. Wifi worked on my phone, not my iPad. Could be an issue on my end. It was adequate. Great cell service too. The complex has several places to eat, small bug well stocked grocery store. Gas and diesel across the street along with a self serve RV wash. ($1.70 per 4 min). The car wash was lousy. Free air for tires etc is available too. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Peek a boo trail from Bryce point is spectacular and avoids the crowd on the Navajo Loop. If the shuttles are not running, loop it with the Rim Trail and Queens Garden for a good 8 mile hike. Red Canyon is 20 mins to the west. Golden Wall trail is 5 miles with great elevation views. Has a short nature trail and a few other options. Good place to hike when Bryce is crowded.

We had a level, gravel, pull through, FHU site in the open area in the back of the park. It had cable TV and was satellite friendly. The bathrooms are completely inadequate for a park this size and were not clean while we were there. I saw no recycling. The convenience to Bryce Canyon NP is the only reason I rate the park as high as a 7. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Stayed a week in this sprawling campground, in what appears to be a newer "premium" section in the back. The sites in back are huge, lots of space between sites, and each has a large, raised, cement-curbed patio area that is part crushed stone (with an embedded fire ring) and part grass with a picnic table. You can park truck or toad next to your RV. Roads are mix of paved and gravel, easy maneuverability for almost any size rig, and sites are crushed stone. Sites in the new area mostly level from side to side, but have a bit of slope to some of them front to back, which should only affect the biggest rigs. They had very good Wifi and cable TV, and Verizon signal was also good. Smooth and quick check-in. Camp store somewhat limited in terms of RV supplies.. Very nice, clean bathroom/shower facilities, with large number of private shower rooms. Getting forwarded mail delivery was a bit disorganized, perhaps due to employee turnover in Fall, as they have to go get it from local PO Box, and apparently this does not happen regularly. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
