Jul 2019 - $20.00
This is a very basic park on the north end of Huntington. It is truly nothing special - but for a low fee (less if you stay for a week), you'll get full hookups and a safe place to stay. The main attraction about this park is its proximity to truly amazing places to explore. Some sites have 30A, some have 50A. - alansills
Sep 2019 - $25.00
Great park on the lake. We originally reserved site 8 with a view of the lake however the pad was raised and created a trip hazard. We were allowed to move into site 10. Had same great view. - YwNightmare

We enjoyed our stay here, it is a beautiful lake. However the pull through sites on the left side of the road are a bit awkward with the picnic tables are on the backside of the rv, and your slides are in the street. Thankfully there was no one on the right side across from us or it would've been very tight for others rvs to get through. There is swimming. - jgainer

Nice state park next to the lake. Bugs were around, but didn't bother us. Would stay again. - webbman57

This a beautiful but isolated park. The lake is fed by water from the mountains and currently it is 1/3 filled. If you are a golf, water sports or ATV enthusiast, then you will love this state park. If none of those apply then you may be bored after a few days here. There is fresh water available at the dump station along with other faucets within the campground. We are in site 18 and sitting at the front of the MH, the WiFi is excellent. Don't know how connection is for sites in the loop. Of the 20 sites, there are 4 sites 44' and longer. For a small campground there is a good amount of space between the sites in the loop. In the pull through section, they seem to be closer. The camp host is very helpful. The nine-hole golf course ($15 for 9 holes and cart) is a challenge and in the process of being expanded to an 18-hole course, which will be completed this fall. I would suggest you call for a tee time. - petpeople
May 2018 - $5.00
The $5 rate reflects a half-price from using our senior pass. Most sites are level, but a single site was a bit narrow for our motorhome. Beware of a few branches that need a bit of pruning, but no problem for paying attention type driving....Many double sites for ATV/OHV machines as this is great access for the Arapeen Trail system. The campground has a very pleasing manner in the way it is laid out, the deer love it too. There are a few water spigots around. Very quiet during the middle of the week at night. - simonsrf
Aug 2016 - $10.00
Forest service campground. Pit toilets, a few water spigots. Sites are not always level. Campground is used by a lot of OHV accessing the Arapeen trail system. Reservoir is pretty, mountains are pretty, great star gazing, lots of trails around the area. Forest service website mentions Joe's Valley Resort having grocery items, renting equipment, etc, BUT IT IS CLOSED when we were there in summer 2016 and looks like it has been closed for awhile. There are no services in Joe's Valley. - kohai
