Jordanelle Hailstone section is a series of camping loops on terraces above the lake. The sites are paved, with an adjacent fire pit, barbecue grill, and picnic table. Site spacing is pretty generous, with good space between rigs. Some leveling will be required, but we had no trouble. Water and electric are available. Access to the reservoir and boat ramp is quite nearby. The restrooms were clean and well stocked. The camp hosts were very nice, and greeted us several times during our stay. We had trouble with the water spigot spraying around the connection to our filter, our pressure reducer, and our fresh water hose. Even putting plumber's tape on the connector did not stop the spray. We used our fresh water, and refilled our tank with their spigot, rather than connecting to our city water input and spraying water everywhere. The other issue we had was the smell of the dump station reached us at our campsite on the Wasatch loop, despite choosing a site farther away from it. The smell was not strong, but it was unpleasant. It caused us to close our windows and roof vents and run the AC at night. We would stay at Jordanelle again, but not in Wasatch loop. - RobinM

Very nice place to stay. Our site was very close to level and right on the lake which was still a ways away because the lake level is down.
Reserve 4 month ahead for the best spots - Pamella

Very nice state park with great views of the mountains and lake. Site was paved but needed to level the trailer a bit. The sites have lots of room and a good distance between sites. The park is a short drive to Park City. We will definitely make a return visit in the future. - JohnPD

RV park close to Jordanelle Dam about 4-1/2 miles from Heber City and Midway. Sites are gravel with some having grass areas that are weeds at this point. Only 8 of the pull through sites (#'s 2-9) are big rig friendly being longer than 60'. Other pull through sites are approximately 50' and difficult to impossible to park larger (36' Fifth Wheel) and truck. Be sure to give them your total length to make sure you have enough room to park. Access to Middle Provo River across the road. There's also a stream that runs through the back of the campground and a small fishing pond. Easy to bicycle out of the campground. Nice campground store. Good WiFi. Able to receive mail, UPS & FedEx. - Lynne L

Terrible water pressure - especially during the day when they would run the water sprinklers for the grass. The staff was very unsympathetic to request for water pressure improvement/more important to them to water grass than satisfy their customers. It was down to 18 psi during the day. Washing dishes and taking a shower was out of the question. - Allen Cartee
Sep 2016 - $36.00
We stayed just one night passing through in our 42ft fifth wheel. The first site was way too small and we asked for another one that was a little easier to pull in. The location is great and the staff was helpful. The playground was nice and wifi was average. - spamalot

Best park we have stayed in. Great amenities. Very clean! - ZackM
Jun 2019 - $70.00
I have stayed in many first class parks (Class A) and this has them all beat. I was in the adult section (S row) where it was all adult amenities. Sites are double wide concrete with great utilities. Dog park is immaculate; all grass and probably 1 acre. Roads are wide and easy to navigate. The front section is for families and it appears that they have everything a kid could possibly want. Live entertainment on Saturday night. The views around you are spectacular. So much to do in this area. Absolutely delightful stay. I highly recommend them. Worth every penny. - Freedom Bus
Jun 2019 - $60.00
This is an amazing resort! We opted for the adult side of the park which has its own lap pool and hot tub. Pickleball courts and a community fire pit looked very inviting too. Their dog park was outstanding, huge gated mown grassy area that our little pup absolutely loved! Very clean too!! They even have a dedicated washer and dryer in each laundry room for dog beds!!! Unbelievable!! The sites are huge concrete level pads with cable along with a picnic table so your really feel comfortable enjoying your patio! Easy pulling out even with tow hooked up! Being a 43 ft motorhome we rarely are able to hook up in our site! We are already booking for next year to stay for longer! Awesome place and very friendly office staff and love the escort service too!! - blacksheepjeep

We planned on staying two nights and added a third. We had site 67 with million dollar views. The homes on the ridge to the north were million $ plus vacation homes and the pretty much the same view. The park was well designed with three different campground sections. I never realized how many people were camped at the park on the weekend, until I walked around one evening. - Peter T
Jul 2018 - $30.00
We stayed with friends in a double space which they were told was 75 feet long; easily would accommodate our 44 foot motorhome. Well, the roads we're extremely narrow (we barely got in) and although the space was long, it was also curved. When we got it into a place that was as level as we could find, we put down jacks only to find the rear passenger side jack sank down about 4 inches. We placed as many blocks as we had under tires and Jack's and got the coach minimally level. Still torqued our large slide out which won't go back in straight/completely. Okay place for smaller units, but don't trust what the summer help says. They don't know anything about RV requirements! - CapnA95
Jun 2017 - $35.00
Nice setting in the tress. A few sites have views of the valley. Level asphalt sites with full hookups. Each site is "private" surrounded by trees. Very helpful staff, but a few are not too knowledgeable. Overall a very nice place to stay. Need to get reservations months ahead of your stay as it is very popular for locals. - Pacatrader
Jul 2016 - $18.00
We stayed here for a family camping/get together.
The park has 2 pull thru sites and the rest are back in.
All sites have a fire pit and picnic table. Fire wood is available from the camp host.
No firewood is allowed to be brought in as the concern for bark bettles which is evident in the surrounding trees.
Close to Trial Lake, Lost Lake and Mirror. Fishing was good.
Fishing at the time we were there was great. - donee
Jun 2018 - $15.00
We enjoyed our two nights in Rockport, close enough to the city to arrive quickly, but far enough to feel peace. We had a drive through primitive site in Cottonwood that was so close to the trees we couldn't fully pull out a sitting area under the awning, but that did have a nice picnic area a feel steps down from the driveway. That area had a (dirty) picnic table and fire pit with room for a tent and privacy provided by a grove of trees on two sides and the river on the other. That grove of trees was also home to a yearling deer and a plethora of singing birds. Nature at it's finest! In addition to camping, we also did some fishing on the reservoir and enjoyed that even though the day was a little windy. Our only real complaint was that our neighbors started a blazing campfire directly upwind from us and we can to close up the trailer and stay inside because the smoke was unbearable. Not sure there is much you can do about that. I wouldn't recommend this site to anyone prone to falling as there is a fairly steep step-down from the asphalt down to the picnic table, but I would definitely stay here again. - Disudds
Sep 2017 - $32.00
The road to get there was steep and narrow, but the campgrounds was really nice, on a reservoir. Too bad the weather was so bad when we were there. The site had a concrete pad, covered picnic table and fire ring and was overlooking the water. There were nice hiking trails, many people were fishing. In nicer weather it would have been a great place to kayak. - dalebonnie

Beautiful lake front camp site with covered picnic table, fire pit and hookups. Good space between campers and plenty away from traffic and civilization. - Siddhartha
