This is an older RV park, but there is no shortage of friendliness and helpfulness here. The owner of the park is the definition of the perfect host. When road construction made us unsure how to get to the park, a staff member came to us and guided us to the park! She was so helpful regarding places to see in the area, and she even gave us a jar of homemade jam! This is, by far, the friendliest RV park we have visited. We camped at Blue Cut RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

There's not much available in the Price area, so had to take what was available. It's a small park, maybe 20 or so spaces. Manager(s) were friendly and helpful. Park is run down but probably had no "run up" from which to come from. Most residents are long term but they've take about a half dozen back in spots in the middle of the park and turned them into pull thru's. It'll do for an overnighter. We camped at Blue Cut RV Park in a Motorhome.

Location is convenient off the highway. There is traffic on one side and train tracks on the other. It had dirt roads with gravel pads and full hookups. No Wi-Fi, showers, or bathrooms. Its a place to stop and sleep and dump tanks. The price is high for what you get. We camped at Blue Cut RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stopped for or the night. Conviently located off the main highway. Small no frills park. Good service. Good shade. Pretty quiet. Several long term residents in park. Site length excellent for motorhome and towed truck. Did not have to unhook. We camped at Blue Cut RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is an older park along the Price River. No pavement but the spots were large enough. The manager was helpful, friendly, and very upbeat. We started for one night and stayed for 3. Could have spent a week in this little park. I gave it an 8 because of no amenities. It does have a laundry. We camped at Blue Cut RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots around here. Spend the day in Helper with all the coal mining history. We did lots of geocaching here. 9 mile canyon definitely worth the drive. The museums are very nice. Walmart in Price, which is very close. Ate lunch at the Balancing Rock Cafe in Helper. Awesome sandwiches.

The previous submission by 'newbies' says it all and we agree completely with their review. This is a basic RV park, no restrooms, though the laundry facilities were open (we didn't use them). The owner is very knowledgeable about the area and will provide wonderful information. A good base to explore Moab area. I recommend this park. We camped at Blue Cut RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This one of those RV parks that if you could rate it solely based on the owner and onsite host you would give it a 10+. The owner is very nice and always responds to your communication and knows the area really well.. The host is very helpful as well. That being said the park itself has little to offer outside of a space with full hookups. The laundry room was closed while we were there because of the fear of the pipes freezing causing you to have to use a public laundromat. The biggest deficit is no WiFi. The pull-thru site we were in is not oriented correctly, there is a really nice mountain view, but because of the placement of the sewer and water connections the rig is facing in wrong way. There is a train that goes by in the morning and evening around 11pm. You can hear the freeway noise but it is quiet at night. We will stay there again. We camped at Blue Cut RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Easy access to a relatively small but neat campground. There are several permanent sites but all are neat and clean. Residents are friendly and we enjoyed our stay here. The train track above the campground and across the road is pretty quiet...no whistles going through Helper. Use the alternate exit when you pull out, makes the exit much easier. The owner is a school teacher and she is not on site until later in the day during the week while school is open. Sites are a little narrow but long enough for fifth wheel and tow vehicle, rock and gravel. This was a quiet and relaxing stop and we would return if in the area. We camped at Blue Cut RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Helper is a small farm community. There are a couple good places to eat and shop for groceries. Local law enforcement monitors traffic on the highway for speed.

This was a midpoint overnight stay and what made the place a good stop was the service by the owner and the location. The owner teaches school and therefore there may be a delay in her returning phone calls, but she is very attentive. The park is primarily a permanent/worker park whit a number of older units, but it was quiet and we felt very safe. We camped at Blue Cut RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The owner was very very nice. Plenty of room in the back in spot for our 40 footer and car. Beautiful scenery great golf course just across highway. Train track just across road but not loud at all. We stayed for three days would highly recommend if your coming to Helper. We camped at Blue Cut RV Park in a Motorhome.

Basic park. Lady very nice and helpful that checks you in. Electric was good and good water pressure. Pretty level spots. Spots are narrow with trees to contend with. We had a 38' with tow and that was long enough. Could have problems with other cars getting out. Did not hear a train at all. Not a bad place for overnight. We camped at Blue Cut RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed overnight in a pull through spot. There is a train track nearby, but no loud horns just the train passing. Good Verizon service and plenty of OTA TV signals. We would stay here again while passing through. We camped at Blue Cut RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
