This park was recently purchased by Sun RV Resorts, which explains the high rates. However they are cleaning up the park and will hopefully enforce more rules. This a destination for many 4-wheelers and they take over the park, blocking the roads and being noisy. The views and location in proximity to the National Parks are great. Overall we had a good experience here and would probably come again. We camped at Archview RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

This campground is in a good location, but it is mostly dirt and gravel. The sites are close to each other and we had to unhook our tow. We couldn't hardly park in front of our RV or behind it without blocking the road. The guy next to us had a pull behind, a truck another trailer pulling an ATV and my husband says they also had another car - I just know that we could hardly move without them being in our space - and I do like my space! The wind was pretty fierce and kept the dirt stirred up. The laundry was clean and convenient. We saw the Arches from here and Canyon Land. The lady in the office sent us right out of the campground when Canyon Land was left and super close. I'm not sure if she misunderstood or what. The staff was not very friendly. We camped at Archview RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Best full-hookup access to Arches and Canyonlands NPs. Convenient to both parks and just 8 miles from Moab. Adjacent to the highway, but traffic is light at night and noise wasn't a bother. Mostly gravel (roads and sites) that all run together. A little dusty, but not a problem. Sites are close together with no buffer. Designated dog area was overgrown and not fully fenced. Lots of ATVs and off-road vehicles, but they were polite about noise and dust. They did however spill out into the road areas making for a tight fit in some locations. Cable was good, Wi-Fi was also good, but you have to subscribe (free). Utilities are convenient and sites are mostly level. Overall a good place to stay if you're wanting quick and easy access to the NPs. We camped at Archview RV Resort & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Easy access to Arches and Canyonlands NPs. Have patience, both are very busy and can close at anytime because of crowds. Moab is a tourist's dream. Expect lots of people and lines at popular restaurants. We enjoyed Moab Brewery, but it can be packed!

We didn't plan our stay in Moab very well not realizing they were having a big even this week but thankfully this park squeezed us in. Sites are close but we didn't spend a lot of time there anyway because there's so much to see in the area. It's very close to both Canyonlands and Arches National Parks. Staff is very helpful - belongs to a big corporate RV park company. There's a gas station on site which is helpful. Had no issues with the road. Lots of folks staying there were in groups - we would definitely stay again. We camped at Archview RV Resort & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This was a depressing spot. We arrived in a dust storm and the ground dirt was flying everywhere. Sites were jammed together and there was no privacy. The campground had no views. It is six miles from the entrance to Arches; a towed vehicle is a good idea. We camped at Archview RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

We spent two nights at this park , everything worked so that part was OK. The shower facilities were in the fair to good categories. The sites are nothing but dirt and fairly crowded. If you are off-roaders it will be perfect for you, if you are not go elsewhere. Noise was an issue as well as crappy parking practice by many of the guests. In my off-road racing days I would have loved it , but not as a place to relax. We camped at Archview RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

What a great RV and campground. Huge..cabins, tents rv, everything here. It's close to the Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park and about 6 miles from Moab. We paid and extra $10 for a premium site. Well worth it. We back up to a beautiful view of the desert. Other reviews complained of the dust and noise of the dirt bikes, quads, motorcycles, we have heard nothing. Now of course we are her mid Sept. and maybe in the summer it's bad. The site is gravel and pretty level, we used one of our blocks. We unhooked our 5 th when and there is still plenty of room for our truck. Our 5th wheel is 41 feet. I would definitely return. There's a store, laundry, plenty of walk space for pets. WiFi is pretty good. They just added 5G fiber optics. Cell service is good to. We have Verizon. Cable is great. We camped at Archview RV Resort & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice and clean park, however small spaces for your RV and really a pitty that the pool is very small. On the other hand very good wifi something the kids really enjoyed. Still expensive place. We camped at Archview RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

This park is so convenient to the National Parks. There is a large store and gas station in the RV park, which was expensive, but convenient. We had a premium site and it was roomy and pleasant. We were very comfortable here and I would be happy to stay here again, even though it is more expensive than I like. We camped at Archview RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

If you are into dune buggies and dirt bikes, this park is for you. The park is popular among the dune buggy crowd and was full at the time of our visit. Our site was a pull through just big enough for our 35 ft motor home and we could park the toad alongside the rig. Our neighbors were very close- but they were very friendly so it didn't matter that much. The site was red dirt which got into everything. The park was quiet and most everyone respected the 5 mph speed limit. A premier site section is available for large rigs that has a spectacular view of the mountains to the east but I suspect it fills up quickly. I reserved my site 4 months in advance and couldn't get into a premier site. If you stay at this park in a motorhome or fifth-wheel of any length, I highly recommend paying the extra bucks for a premier site. They are longer and wider than the standard sites and have a gravel base. The WIFI and cell service for AT&T was adequate. We visited the area mainly to visit two nearby national parks which are spectacular. Moab is about 17 miles further south of the park. I would stay at this park again only if I could secure a premier site, principally for the extra space and gravel site. We camped at Archview RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Arches and Canyon Lands National Parks should be on every RVer's bucket list. Moab is an eclectic, dog-friendly town with plenty of shops and restaurants for everyone's taste. We dined at the Blue Pig for BBQ (great burnt ends sandwiches) and the Cowboy Grill out Hwy 128 east of town- which was pricey and only so-so for food - but has great views of the Colorado River. If you need any gear for hiking or climbing, Gear Heads in Moab is a top notch outfitter's store.

Rate included tax and GS discount. The weather/temp is great in April. We didn't even need any A/C. Open windows at night. Nice layout and beautiful view of desert with 3 arches (from out site) and mountains in the distance. Yes, there was dust...it is a desert. There were off-roaders but no one drove through the park at high speed throwing dust. Everyone was respectful of the campers. We didn't know it when we booked in January, that April was their "busy season". That's mainly due to the summer heat. So if you like mile weather, try April. The RV park has a nice store well stocked. If we were here again, we would stay here. We camped at Archview RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

This park is located about 10 miles north of Moab near the turnoff to Canyonlands. Gravel roads and sites. Our site was a premium site with adequate room between sites, a picnic table and a small tree. Had a great view to the SE and could even see an arch if you squint hard! Wifi decent. Verizon reception good. Check-in was easy and friendly. Easy in and out. Gas station on premises is expensive, as is propane. Can stay here close to the entrances to the parks and drive to town, or stay in town and drive to the parks. Would stay here again. We camped at Archview RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Arches and Canyonlands NP's. Plan on spending a day at each. Great scenery and hikes. Could easily do more days and there are other attractions nearby that we would have liked to see. Some of the Arches parking areas are full early. Ate at the Moab Brewery and really enjoyed it.

Let me say first that while I AM NOT a 4 wheeler, I also have nothing against them or the people that ride them! That being said, Archview is a "cowboy park". That is not meant to be disrespectful. It is simply the truth. If you like dust and dirt this park could be for you. They call for a 5 mph speed limit that most don't obey. The bathrooms are old and in need of major overhaul. The water pressure in the bathrooms is a tenth of what a good shower calls for when forking out $70 per nite AFTER your discount, and the first nite ran out if hit after the first minute. When I told the staff about no hot water the response was, "I wouldn't know...just came on duty an hour ago!" To add insult to injury this park also owns the Chevron station near the park office. They post NO prices on their monument sign on #191. No wonder! Their unleaded gas was 50 cents a gallon more than unleaded in downtown Moab, just 9 miles away. So if ya don't mind dust and dirt, going home with grit in your nose/ears, outdated restrooms along with paying thru the nose for your "dirt spot"...then Archview just could be for you. We camped here in a motorhome and after feeling like we've been completely ripped off, will never stay at Archview again! We camped at Archview RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.
