Standard KOA. Check in was easy but slow. We had reserved a pull through site and were led to a site on the back of the property. The site was dirt (most of the roads in the park are dirt) and not very level, but it was long. Plenty of room for RV and toad. A nice view of the mts. The sites here are staggered giving you a little more elbow room. No shade at our site. We were right across from the dog walk, which we didnt appreciate sitting outside and seeing everyones dogs "do their business" right across from us. If we did have a dog it would have been convenient though. The pool area looked nice, always full of kids both the hot tub and pool. Our grands said the pool water was really, really cold. Shower house is individual bathrooms (like at home) each had a toilet, sink, shower. Felt comfortable allowing grands to shower there (they prefer over rv shower). The park looked clean. If you wanted a campfire you had to rent a firepit for $20.00 then they will sell you firewood. We had our own so I dont know what the fee was. We visited Arches and Canyonlands NP's and did some off roading while in the area. Very pretty area. Typical, standard KOA. We camped at Moab KOA in a Motorhome.

Nice enough KOA. Very nice pool. Good laundry. Surprisingly level site. Opposite side of Moab from NPs, but not too far. Very dusty with gravel/dirt infrastructure. WiFi below par. Sites close. We camped at Moab KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Right off of the main highway, so some road noise. They said no tents in RV sites but the people next to us had a travel trailer and a tent set up on their site. Well stocked store. Not our first choice to stay but it was acceptable and we would stay again. We camped at Moab KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Close to Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park. The town of Moab always seems to be very busy. Lots of restaurants and shops.

A very nice KOA with a lot of amenities but VERY noisy. Traffic from the highway is constant 24/7. Our site was not level. We paid an inflated rate due to a rally in Moab that coincided with our stay. We would probably look for an alternative place to stay if coming through again. We camped at Moab KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

All sites are long pull through, which given the area and all the recreational vehicles, makes great sense. Our spot was on the back row away from the road, so we had a beautiful view of the LaSal Mountains. It also was quieter. The space between sites was OK, as you did have room front and back. Nice area for walking the dog as well as a small off leash area. Too bad they couldn't have made that bigger and removed the rocks. Not much room for the big dog side to get in some ball chasing. While there, a water main broke. These things happen and are annoying, but if you've been doing this for a while, it's not a crisis. Water came back on after an hour or so but it was cloudy and took a bit to clear things out. We were able to flush our water filter. Even bought a spare (which we usually have!) from their little store. Which, by the way, was very well stocked with many quick food items, staples, ice and even ice cream. The staff were super efficient and friendly. Although we didn't use the pool, it's a beautiful area. I had the place to myself the morning I did laundry, just looking at the views and reading. Nice laundromat too. Would definitely return if we visit the Moab area again. Location good for Arches, Canyonlands and lots of off road trails for riding whatever you have. We camped at Moab KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Although our site was long and the spacing between sites was spacious, this park is not worth the price. Our site and most of those around us were not level front to back. We had to use two inches of blocks. Because Hwy 191 is located directly in front of the park and the speed limit is 65 MPH, this is the loudest park we have stayed in the nearly three years we have been full-timing. We only stayed here because the majority of the group of fellow RVers we were meeting to go Jeeping for the week were staying here. There are better and more reasonably priced options in the area. We camped at Moab KOA in a Motorhome.

It's high season & we get it, but the crowded campground and dirt roads made us avoid being there as much as possible. Since we were there for the nearby national parks, thankfully not hard to do. We've rarely paid so much for so little-maybe never before. We camped at Moab KOA in a Motorhome.

We enjoyed our stay at Moab KOA. The staff was friendly and helpful and the sites are level and generously sized. The laundry was clean with plenty of machines, although a bit pricey at $2 each to wash or dry. Easy access from UT-191 and the park was easy to navigate in our big rig. Pretty views in every direction. The location is convenient to Arches NP and Canyonlands NP. I'd give it a 10 except the dog rules aren't enforced - we encountered at least one off-leash dog on most days of our visit. I'd stay here again. We camped at Moab KOA in a Motorhome.

Great KOA. Tight quarters of course, typical of a KOA. We chose a patio site to get more room. Fantastic camp store, best I have seen. Reminiscent of a top end National Park store. Great signage, everyone in their KOA yellow. WiFi and cable both good. Great views on all sides. Nice little dog park. Expensive KOA, but the locale demands and bears it, in my opinion. We camped at Moab KOA in a Motorhome.

This is a nice place to stay. The beautiful swimming pool was 'resort worthy.' Our space was quite narrow but long. The next row over, Lane 4, sites 67-72, had an unobstructed view of the red sandstone formations. Their sites and our sites (Lane 3) were arranged so that the afternoon sun is not on the doorway side of the trailer, making it easier to enjoy being outside in the afternoon. Outdoor space quite narrow- luckily we were traveling with friends and able to combine their space and ours to get a decent sized cooking, eating and socializing area. Verizon had 3 bars. Camp WiFi was not too useful, and went down for reals after construction cut a line. Roads are red dust and gravel, site mostly gravel. Hey- it's the same red stuff you came here to see, just up close. Only real complaint besides narrow sites was the number of dead or dying trees in the campground. It's hard to keep trees alive in the desert, but they should be kept pruned and removed when they finally bite the dust. Arches National Park was a pretty nice experience- must come back to see more. Camp store seemed pretty nice. I would definitely be happy to stay here again. We camped at Moab KOA in a Travel Trailer.

We had a spectacular "premium" site with unobstructed views of the mountains, fabulous concrete patio with table and chairs. Next site set back at an angle so neighbor and his lines are not an issue. Sewer close and excellent location: below the level of the tires! No shade. There is a new pool, heated to 85 degrees. Just South of Moab. I will definitely stay here again, in a very expensive premium site. It is simply a good investment! While very expensive, if you can get site 114, it will be worth it! The streets and sites were narrow and gravel and dirt. Both streets and sites had stategically-placed large rocks that were difficult to maneuver past. Expensive rate for site. No trees, so site was satellite-friendly. There was minimal Sprint and ATT reception. The views from the site of high rock formations were beautiful to see. We camped at Moab KOA in a Motorhome.

Our understanding is the KOA is under new ownership. The new pool area is new and was open for only a month when we visited. They have a huge new two-level pool and a large in-ground spa. Both were excellent and are a huge relief to relax in after a long day of hiking in the heat and sun. The bathrooms have individual stalls for showers and toilets. We used the laundry room which was very nice with nice washers and dryers that worked well. The water from the tap tasted better than bottled water. We would definitely stay here again. We shopped at the City Market grocery store several times during our 4 day stay. It is a good grocery store with reasonable prices. They even had numerous gulten free items which we needed for our son.

There are a lot of good reviews and the staff were very friendly and the campground is close to Arches and Moab, however, the site we were assigned was NOT Big Rig friendly. The roads are very narrow as are the sites. It was a challenge getting a 41ft 5th wheel into the site with rocks and landscaping on each side. We got setup and there was no room to walk around the coach with the slides out due to rocks and landscaping. We had to park behind the coach and walk through the neighbor's site to get between the truck and our door. Then I noticed that we were second from end of a dead-end row which meant when we depart we would have to back down the row in order to get hitched up. I spoke with the manager and they were friendly and aware of the problem and were planning on using the end site as a drive through. The night before we left that site was filled. As we departed after backing down the row, getting out of the site and to the exit was as difficult as getting in. This is the worst site we have ever had in over 40 years of camping. We camped at Moab KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

IF going to Arches go early a long line starts around 8am. The park is open 24 hours and if you have a senior pass no need to worry about checking in. There is a self pay box for those without the pass.
