We had intended to spend three nights at this park, but had to change our plans to an overnight stop. The staff was very helpful with our change in plans. The park is very picturesque in a setting between red rock canyon walls. Roads and sites are red gravel with landscaping and some trees. The only negative; sites have shared common areas, so that you and your neighbor the space between rigs. Amenities were clean and adequate. Laundry was excellent. We plan to go back to Moab, but will look at other parks to eliminate the shared space between rigs, absent that issue we would camp here again. We camped at Moab Valley RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Traveling in a 38 foot coach we stayed 4 nights in a site for big rigs. We stayed at this RV park during early February and during this time of year the park was very quiet. This park is actually 25 years old but is well maintained and has the appearance of a much newer park. The area is well manicured with picnic tables between RV sites and lights between each site. The wifi worked very well. They are able to refill propane tanks on site. They even gave us two chocolate chip cookies upon check-in! An added bonus is that we could park our car right next to our RV. For dog owners there are two doggy parks. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Moab Valley RV Resort in a Motorhome.

RV park set at the beginning of the Colorado Riverway and the edge of Moab...gorgeous. Very clean with many RV sites plus cabins and tent canopies. Cabins range from camper cabins to some with full amenities. Camp hosts kept everything clean. Definitely a destination park set in the red mountains we would stay at again. We camped at Moab Valley RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

THE area for hikers, kayakers, off-road adventures, bikes, and foodies. Drive 128 from RV park to see spectacular scenes along the river. If it's not too cold...watch the night sky develop and realize how small we are here.

The sites are tight with vehicles pulling in opposite directions to share hook-ups. The area was great and we stayed longer than anticipated! Not sure I'd want to say here if they were full. We walked out or door where we shared a small grass area with two picnic tables and got a face full of cigarette smoke from the neighbors using their table at the foot of our door. We camped at Moab Valley RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Pricing here is based on a computer algorithm. So if you book a site online at a price, you can arrive and the price negotiated could be different. For example: Book a premium site at a price & when you arrive, the price you agreed to now pays for a standard site, but they give you cookies so you don't notice the discrepancy. In addition, this park is right on the highway: tons of road noise. The sites are somewhat level. Not a good value for services rendered. We camped at Moab Valley RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Great place to stay when touring Arches, Canyonlands and Dead Horse State Park. Sites are surrounded with the beauty of the hills of Moab. Gorgeous! This campground is very clean and you can tell the owners take the time to make sure everyone is content. Pool looked very inviting even though we did not use it. We will definitely return! All sites are 'buddy' sites, ok if you get good neighbors but they're right there with you. Stayed 4 days, same bits of trash each day in showers and toilets. Dusty, lots of mosquitos, tiny overcrowded pool. Office staff very nice. Will not return. We camped at Moab Valley RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Access roads were good; level dirt site; all pull-throughs; full hook-ups with 50 amp (and cable); wifi only sometimes. Enough room for RV and slides, but nothing extra. Felt very packed in. Nice grass strip shared with neighbor, each with own picnic table and BBQ. Small trees so rigs in no danger of scratches. Sometimes noisy as is near a major road but it seemed quiet at night. Mixed use...lots of tents and RV's. LOTS of families. Pool and hot tub ALWAYS overloaded and loud with youth and kids. But all were well behaved just having good, clean fun. Also, many guests had ATV's...loud. If you're looking for quiet, this isn't it. But it's a decent, clean place. Very close to Arches National Park entrance. We camped at Moab Valley RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is our second stay. Since that time we have been to 20+ RV parks, which has expanded my familiarity of RV parks. Location, location, location. It is less than 3 miles to the entrance of Arches National Park, less than 3 miles to downtown Moab, 28 miles to Dead Horse Park, and 32 miles to Canyon Lands National Park. The park is very nice. Good size spaces on gravel, patio, grass, and picnic table. Great wifi! We visited the park the beginning of May and the pool was nice and warm. Laundry room is really clean and the machines are set up to take a credit card or quarters. For me, being able to use my Visa card was wonderful - no quarters to buy! $2.00 for wash and dryer and the dryers run for 50 min. The bathrooms need updating considering one is paying $66+ a night. There is some traffic noise, but during sleeping hours it's not a problem. You do share the common area with your next-door neighbor, which has never been a problem for us. If you are visiting during "the season" there are a lot of four wheel "toys". We error not making reservations soon. If you are visiting "in season" I would recommend making reservations 6 months in advance. We would definitely stay again. We camped at Moab Valley RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The best is the great WiFi and cell service. Could update all apps and GPS, get email and even watch movie on cell data here. The second best is being just on the outskirts of Moab with an easy drive in and close to Arches. The RV sites are really, really tight. Some have grass when lined up driver to driver side. Reach out and touch your neighbors slide! the others are lined up side by side with a strip of concrete and barely fitting picnic table. The park is really busy, well kept up and booked up. Glad to get a spot for a few days, despite the price, with full hooks ups, cable and propane available. We camped at Moab Valley RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Numerous things to do in Moab area- Arches National Park and Canyonland National Park are awe inspiring, walk the downtown streets in Moab, hike numerous trails, take a scenic drive. The pancake house on the main street has wonderful Banana Walnut and Chocolate Chip Pancakes. They are only open in the mornings so go early!

Very nice clean/orderly park. Nice gravel drives and parking. Nice grass area/picnic table at campers. Convenient location. Friendly staff. Easy in and out with 41' class A and toad. Only complaint is spaces are too close together. Grassy area at your front door is also your neighbors grass area at his front door & slide outs out back almost touch your back neighbors slide outs. The "dynamic pricing" is unusual but I definitely got my money's worth while visiting the national parks. Campground has a huge number of amenities including a pool, hot tub, outdoor games, pet area, dish washing sink and WiFi that was plenty fast. If you have a small rig, definitely ask for the water/electric back-in sites, or even dry camp at a tent site. This side of the park has substantially more room than the full hookup sites, where the spots are so tight that slides nearly touch. Big bathrooms had great hot water and pressure for cleaning up after a day on the trails. Staff keeps a close eye on the park and even greets you with cookies at check in! Great location if visiting the National Parks in the area. Outside of Moab which can get very busy. Had an outside spot which gave and open feeling but was by the road. Noise wasn't that bad. WIFI was just ok. Used laundry and showers which were clean. Had pool but did not use. Would stay again. We camped at Moab Valley RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
