The site was level with central hook ups. AT&T worked fine at the site and the wifi was acceptable at the site. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here with our grandchildren. It was a great value for the price. All the amenities were clean and the hosts are friendly and helpful. It is a little out of Moab, but is nice and quiet. This is our third stay at this campground and we recommend it when friends are coming to visit Moab. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Motorhome.

We rented a trailer at OK. It's really nice, our campsite is amazing, and the entire campground is clean and pretty- a comforting feeling and quaint. I highly recommend this place. Their customer service is amazing, too! We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Travel Trailer.

Needed one more night in Moab after a terrible sardine can feel at Portal RV (see my review). Very friendly, helpful staff who did not have a problem with early check in. The roads are dirt, but a water truck watered them each day we were there and dust was not an issue. Sites are a bit close, with a bit of grass and some trees between sites, but still pretty basic. The traffic on this south side was a bit easier for us to manage than on the north end. I thought this was much greater value and more pleasant than the "resort atmosphere" at Portal on the busy highway. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Motorhome.

All gravel and sorta' dusty. the sites are pretty close, but not too bad to get in to. Many long term residents. Not an easy place to find, and miles further from the main attractions than most parks in Moab. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Fifth Wheel.

We pull a 43 ft fifthwheel with an F350 Dually Truck and sites are wide enough to park next to your RV and still have your awnings and slides out. Checkin was easy and fast. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Other RVers were really friendly. The site was level, no road noise (there is road noise at the front of the park but not bad), and tall trees. The site is dirt with a picnic table. The sites are very wide which is really nice. Utilities worked well. Pretty good WIFi and nice Cable TV. Some spotty coverage with AT&T cell and no AT&T cell data. This is a very remote area so lack of cell coverage is to be expected. Verizon Hotspot worked well in the park but bandwidth could be slow. Not under parks control. And, our satellite worked well. No bugs while we were there. No dog area available in the park. Be aware Water faucets: Blue faucets are drinking water! We'd recommend this to anyone. We stayed a week and it was not long enough at all. Can't wait to go back. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Fifth Wheel.

Called ahead and upon arrival park map, site number, wifi code etc was posted on the office door. Later caught someone in the office so didn't need to go back the next morning to sign a credit card receipt. Site was a long pull-thru with good wifi, clear cable, good 50 Amp, good water and reasonable good access to sewer. Site had a picnic table. Trees were still dropping leaves. Dirt road in front was posted with slow signs and most people complied while we were there so not dusty. Site is dirt so no problem putting a mat down to slow the tracking of dirt into the coach. Biggest problem were the burrs which stuck in the feet of our dogs and were painful to remove, otherwise a good value with Passport America. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The pictures of the park look better than reality. The sites are sparsely weedy. What is not weeds is sandy gravel. The spots are quite close together. There is what I will call construction trash along the back fence line. Initially, we were very disappointed. Almost didn't stay but the other places were booked. OK RV turned out to be okay. It is on the far side of Moab from Arches but it is not inconvenient. Quite a few UTV/ATV vehicles were in and out of the park but they drove slow and were not noisy. Both of office personnel and the fellow campers were very friendly and helpful. WiFi and phone use was good. There was quite a bit of rain that left puddles of water in the driveway. A tractor came through trying to smooth out the holes a little. If we returned to Moab we would look for a different cg but this one was, as its name suggests - OK. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The Branding Iron Restaurant just off the main highway as you turn towards the cg is quite good and reasonably priced. For grocery stores, the City Market carries Kroger brands and the Village Market had a nice selection. We drove the La Sal Mountain Loop. Great views of the backside of Arches and up into the mountains where the terrain changes from red rock to granite. Took about 2 hours. Don't miss Canyonland National Park about 45 minutes away. Very different from Arches.

Office folks were very friendly, laundry was clean as were the 3 showers. But the sites are small. We had to unhook our tow vehicle and park it next to our RV, thus taking up the site space. And of course the tow dolly had to be on our site as well. Leaving about 10 feet for sitting outside. Felt cramped if you enjoy sitting outside. Not sure I would return. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The sites are gravel, fairly close together, with a small patch of grass in between. Our row had small trees, offering no shade. We had a pull through site, but just barely had room to park our toad. It's dusty, but they run a water truck through a few times a day to tap it down a bit. The staff is friendly and helpful. We arrived late (8:30), but our paperwork was on the office door and a man in a golf cart led us to our site. The wi-fi was excellent and they had cable TV. It is about a half mile off the main highway, so no highway noise. Hard to walk the dogs because there are lots of sand spurs in the patches of grass. It is very convenient to go into Moab, and into Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Motorhome.

Nice RV park outside of town next to the Old Spanish Trail Arena (good place to take a walk with your dogs). FHU with good water quality and electric is good; they offer WiFi and Cable. We got a nice shady spot through some are out in the sun. Gravel pull through with a little grass and a picnic table. They have pull through, back-in and tent sites. Moab, Utah - of course, there is Canyonlands and Arches National Parks. There are 3 sections to Canyonlands but if you only do one, give extra time for Arches because there is a lot more to see there. Moab Brewery in town has great food and gelato.

This CG is just a few miles south of Moab, so there are lots of places to re-supply, eat and fuel-up. So close to Arches NP and not far from Canyonlands NP, but also nearby is a nice drive up the River Road along the Colorado R to a ranch (now motel) in an area where many western films were shot, and a little further to Fisher Towers, an iconic landscape for those films. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Fifth Wheel.

It depends on what is important to you during your stay here. You are four miles into Moab but are on the opposite side of town to go to all the national and state parks. WiFi was good. We were able to stream Netflix in the evening with no problem. The bathrooms are another story. When we arrived they were clean but when we left three days later they we nasty. We are not sure why the park staff did not clean them for three days but they didn't. The campground does have trees on some sites which was nice. It was 112 degrees during our stay. All in all I give just a fair review. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Travel Trailer.
