Sep 2009 - $6.00
This campground is located on the Nebo Loop Scenic Drive, which runs between Nephi and Payson, just off of I-15. The sites are all level, paved with level gravel or paved patios with fire pits and tables. Some sites are located overlooking the Salt Creek. We chose a site that allowed satellite reception, but still enjoyed the sound of the water. We only paid $6 because it is located in a National Forest (Uinita) and we have a senior park pass. It is a beautiful, rustic campground with lots of trees separating each site, quiet and very peaceful. The next day we drove the Nebo Loop, which is gorgeous. - endofrope
Sep 2018 - $30.00
Served its purpose for a level 50 amp pull thru with satellite reception. No one at check in but clear note for where we should park #62 was easy to see. Site 62 was fairly level and no trees. Great for an overnight. Many permanent trailers. - blacksheepjeep
Aug 2018 - $25.00
First off the person who runs this park doesn't return phone calls and was nonexistent during our stay. The power cut off three times during the late afternoon and evening. Sites are fairly level with some weeds and no grass. The utilities are placed correctly to connect to. I camped here in a 40' motorcoach. - illini777
Jul 2018 - $30.00
Wifi signal is strong, clean park, very clean bath/shower house. Shower stalls are VERY tight. Many what appears to be permanent residents, but we have no issue with that. Good overnight spot. Everyone in the park was quite friendly and courteous.
Nephi is a VERY sleepy town, but this park is fine for an overnight. One can't beat the price! Tight spaces is the only reason I don't rate it higher. - wyomingconnie
Aug 2018 - $44.00
This park is located about five miles off of I-15. The entrance road is narrow and would be impossible for two large rigs to pass. The park itself is well laid out with large grass areas and trees. The sites were long enough for our 38-foot fifth wheel and tow vehicle to remain attached. The site a fairly level packed gravel with a large pie shaped grass area between our unit and the neighboring site. The utility pole and water were easily accessible from the our center hookup point. We had no AT&T or Verizon service and there was no OTA television or cable available. There is no internet service available from Campground . No open fires are allowed. At this time of the year the seasonal Creek was dry. Traffic noise from the road was noticeable during the day but it did quiet at night. We would stay here for an overnight again. - bbmidwife
Aug 2018 - $45.00
Very nice park off the beaten path. Worth the extra mikes to get there. Very friendly staff. Spaces are large with plenty of room if you choose not to disconnect your tow vehicle. - BC gal
Jul 2018 - $45.00
Very nice, tucked away with seasonal streams. Quiet other than some freeway noise. Lots of green. Clean facilities. Sites are easy to pull into and we were able to keep the fifth wheel hitched to the truck. Full hookups available. No cell service but good wifi. Would definitely stay again! - Country Living Project
May 2011 - $1.00
THIS RV PARK IS CLOSED!!! - peg513
Nov 2007 - $26.00
This was a little off the beaten path but we were happy to escape the interstate for a couple of nights. Management was VERY friendly. This is the place to take your ORV as the paths leave the campground. You can even take your horses and they have facilities there for them. We would go back in a minute. The nearby Nebo Loop scenic drive, while beautiful, was hazardous to a vehicle`s cooling system! - islandnomads
Jun 2019 - $20.00
Arrived at noon on a Monday. Only two sites were taken. We pulled straight in which gave us a nice view of the green space. Great satellite reception. - MaryinPrescott
May 2019 - $20.00
There's a pretty view of snow-capped (in late May) mountains at this municipal park in an urban canyon. Sites are very short; if you drive anything over 30', go to the upper tier where there's more space to stick out from the outlined parking spaces. The asphalt surface slopes considerably to the rear; with 3 boards our rear wheels were off the ground and we were still getting an "excess slope" warning. Sites have only water and 30-amp electricity; there is a hard-to-reach dump station at one end of the park. At $20 a day you are getting what you are paying for. Satellite TV works in most spots. The park was less than a quarter full during our weekday stay. Reservations can only be made 7 days in advance, through the town's Parks and Recreation department, but you're free to come in without any notice. Ignore the "Road Closed" signs, if they are still there, as you turn onto Powerhouse Rd. - Mtmoi
May 2019 - $20.00
We stayed here overnight on our way to Moab. As the other reviewers have said, it is a large parking lot with W/E hookups. There is a dump station on the premises. Behind each site it a wooded area with picnic table that it really nice. There is also a pathway that leads to the park below, which was a nice stroll with the kids after dinner. You are very close to restaurants, stores, gas stations, etc. It was perfect for one night and you can’t beat the price. We would definitely stay here again if we were passing through. - Millington Family
Apr 2009 - $17.00
I have stayed there half a dozen times in the last two years. This park is located up Spanish Fork Canyon right on Hwy 6 between I 15 and I 70 It is open all year round and there is a convenience store, gas station, and cafe located next door to the RV park as well. Its within 10 miles of Strawberry Reservoir for fishing. It is surrounded by mountains great for ATVing and Snowmobiling. - Lee and Fran
