This place isn't all that bad if you just need a place to stop for the night. It's nothing but a big gravel lot with hookups. It's in an unappealing location. We camped at Legacy Inn and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This was an over night stay between where we broke an axle just out of Green River - on our way up to Whistler. We had to park by the road on 191 over night while my husband fixed the wheel and axle. That entire route up on 191 to 15 wasn;t bad for stopping along the way and staying off the road side but we need a spot to check things out and Price was a good spot. This rv spot is just off the higway and behind the hotel, very carefully pull around back and choose a pull thru for the over night. Yes it is very tight and barely get the slides out but what more do u need for an over night. Lots of stuff in walking distance which always helps when traveling thru. The other places like in Wellington were much less appealing. I would stay here again while traveling thru if the timing was convenient. Cell for Verizon was good and we watched Dish so that worked just fine (no real trees). We streamed on cell to watch netflix and that worked well too. We camped at Legacy Inn and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Good one night stop over, no complaints there. The area has good trailer parts and napa and other helpful repair needs. A wallmart close by the park. Food within walking distance.

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Traveling in a 38 foot coach we stayed 2 nights in a site for big rigs. The lady at the front desk was very nice, but at $29 a night, this RV park was overpriced. Due to the time of year there was no water and no way to fill up our tanks. Fortunately we knew this ahead of arriving and had filled-up our fresh water tank before leaving our last site. This is a very small RV park located at the rear of the Legacy Inn. The entrance into the park is via a driveway located on the left side of the motel. This driveway looks really narrow, but we got thru okay with our 37-foot motor coach. I don't think anything bigger (towing a toad) would get thru without scraping. From the appearance of the motel rain gutters I'd guess they've been hit several times, so drive slowly. The sites are fairly level, gravel, but very dusty. However dust is better than mud! Nine sites were pull-thru, and the rest are back-in sites. There is a skinny tree between each of the pull-thru sites but no space for a table or even a chair. Sites are so narrow that two rigs with slides next to each other would probably touch. We were there in February so the park was almost empty (only a handful of full timers were there). No playground, no dog park, no grass, and your view is a dirt and gravel pit. There is no place outside to relax! Price, Utah has a couple other RV parks, but they are not any better. This is a good place if you are just spending one night. However, if you have a big motorcoach (and it's been raining) you might get stuck if you go into a pull-thru site. We camped at Legacy Inn and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This was a last minute overnight stop. The pull through sites were too narrow for us to put our slides out. The entire park is gravel and a bit dusty. The dumpster was overflowing. The good news is that the staff was very friendly and accommodating. There are also several fast places within walking distance. Our RV is 43 feet with 4 slides and the park just wasn't designed for one our size. I would stop here again if nothing else was available close by. We camped at Legacy Inn and RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a very small RV park in the rear parking lot of the Legacy Inn. Not very fancy but it was clean, convenient and on the way to where we were going. The entrance is via a driveway next to the motel and it looks much tighter than it really is. The sites were fairly level and drive through. We camped at Legacy Inn and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We picked this park because it happened to be situated on our way to I-70 traveling south. What a disappointment...should have read the reviews first. Very tight entrance to the park which is behind the motel. Anything over 37 feet would have a time maneuvering. Pull-through sites very narrow. Shade trees are bare minimum. Luckily it was a cool day. Gravel site was pretty level. No grass. View is that of a dirt and gravel pit. Wi-Fi was good and front desk lady was very nice. We would not stay here again. We camped at Legacy Inn and RV Park in a Motorhome.

It is very overpriced. The Park is old. Sites are narrow - two rigs with slides next to each other would probably touch. There is no picnic table, nor grass. There were many dogs, and all seemed to be barking. There is a nice lady in office though (only positive thing we can say). We would not stay here again. This was not our first stay here. Have stayed in the past. Since the last visit, new gravel has been put down, so you are not having to deal with dirt. Staff was friendly like usual. This time they do have free Wi-Fi to the back of the park; which is nice. We will definitely return when we need to. Plenty of space back of park to walk dogs. Very clean and well maintained. This park was way overpriced. I was 1st quoted $35 then it ended up being $45. The sites are located behind old motel and very small. We stayed at 12 campgrounds on this trip, this was the worst one. We camped at Legacy Inn and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Back of motel with 30 sites of which only 8 are for over the road or over night camping. The 22 other sites are for workers who come in late at night and leave early in the morning. Train runs on the hour all day and night and blows horn all the way through town. Sites are very tight with very old hook ups. Showers are old but clean. $35.86 is too much for this campground. I would not stay here again. We camped at Legacy Inn and RV Park in a Motorhome.

I give this place a 4 (and that might be generous) because of the following facts. 1: The worst showers in any RV camp I've found. 2: Poor ground drainage with a lot of mud. 3: Mostly permanent RVs with oil/coal, who leave before dawn or come back after midnight. 4: Located very near a active train track. 5: Cramped RV's have very little space between them. 6: This is not really an RV park. It's a gravel parking lot behind a motel with hookup. 7: Even my dog didn't like to walk around the area and normally just hearing the "walk" gets him excited. My dog's advice: avoid this RV park. We camped at Legacy Inn and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Good points: There is 50 amp service; our two satellite dishes could hook up. Not so good points: The entry was difficult to maneuver, with no place to park while checking in. [You apparently can pick your own site and then check in, we find out later. We just blocked the only driveway...] The front desk lady was less than cheerful, but it was late in the day of a long hot one & neither was I, so it might not have been her fault. The entry & turn into the back-of-the-lot pull-thrus is very tight (180 degree turn) & someone - old owners? new owners? - put in steel pipes on both ends of both sides of the sites, which are only 16' wide to start with. We only have 1 small slide; we fit. We drove by the only other advertised park in town & chose this one. Next time we will plan a trip that doesn't need a stop in Price. We would not stay here again. We camped at Legacy Inn and RV Park in a Motorhome.

The entrance is smaller than usual but not a big deal. Park had 50 amps, free wifi, and non coin restrooms/showers great for a family of eight. The park was close to town main street so we walk over to catch a movie. Would stay there again. We camped at Legacy Inn and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Horrible entrance, we had to twist over curb, then squeeze between buildings and finally devise a strategy to get into narrow spaces so we could open the slides. (We have a 40’ MH) They claim they are the least expensive in town? Quiet enough but will never stay here again. There are several seasonals here. I believe this is the old Budget Inn and RV Park. As stated in other reviews this is a bare bones campground. It is run by an older German couple. She was nice, but he seems to think he is in the Wermacht. He marches around snapping out questions & orders. We camped at Legacy Inn and RV Park in a Motorhome.
