We have stayed here often. It is a lovely spot. The current owners have been doing a great deal of maintenance and making upgrades. The cordial owners obviously take pride in their work. We camped at Richfield KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Used this very nice KOA for an overnight stay to break up a long journey. The pull-through site was long enough to accommodate our truck and trailer without having to disconnect, was level and all utilities convenient and worked well. The staff were friendly and helpful and despite being in the town, the park was relatively secluded and quiet at night. WiFi was a bit spotty, but overall the park was clean and well maintained. We camped at Richfield KOA in a Travel Trailer.

We stopped here because of snow in the passes on I70. The spaces are almost all pull through with lots of trees. Site was level, we didn't have to unhook. The staff was super friendly. All in all, and excellent rv park. We camped at Richfield KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Park is located in town and close to all shopping. Pull-thru & back-ins are more than adequate. You are close to your neighbors. The park is shaded, so a dish will not work and their cable TV has very limited channels. They advertise wi-fi, but it is non-existant. You will need your own hot spot. Good overnight stop. We camped at Richfield KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Lovely campground, in town. It's obvious that the owners take great pride in this place and enjoy making it nice for us to enjoy. Lots of green space, a lovely pool, and wide, shaded sites. Check-in was a breeze and we were escorted to our full service, pull-through site which was nice and wide and had a cement area for the picnic table. Water/Electric/Sewer all worked fine. Great cable. We did not try the WIFI as we had good Verizon signal. This KOA caters to ATV enthusiasts and folks were definitely having a good time (we do not ATV, but enjoyed learning about this hobby). Gravel doggy area. We had a great time here and would definitely stay again if in the area. We camped at Richfield KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

stopped overnight and was happy to get a pull thru site that was long enough to not disconnect the tow. It barley fit but it did fit. the lots are small and I had to be very very careful opening the slides. Again it was very close, within a couple of inches. The staff was very good and the escort to the lot was very helpful and did a good job helping guide me and help ensure the trees were not in the way. Needless to say since the slide had only 2 inch clearance the awning was not usable. There is a nicely maintained dog park and the staff likes dogs and ready with a treat in their pocket. We camped at Richfield KOA in a Motorhome.

We stopped here while traveling from Denver to California and used the campground just for a nice rest for 1 night. This well taken care campground is managed by great people! It shows from the fact that they gave me a courtesy call days before my arrival to check on the ETA and to make sure that in case I arrived late and the office was closed I would have access to my site! Once we got there we were impressed on the nice beautiful flowers in the well groomed front office garden and swimming pool area. Everything appeared very nice and clean and the people in charge are amazing! They assist and guide you to your site. The site has great electrical connections since the whole electrical system is brand new. My Surge Proctor showed a steady 120 V connection. We loved the big 50-60 year old trees. After we got there my brand new RV refrigerator stopped working and we asked the attendant if he knew anything about RV refrigerators and he was so kind to see what was wrong and tried every single option possible by checking all the fuses and opening up the back panel of the refrigerator. Although he was not able to fix it the good effort he offered was truly nice. This people care and I will always stop here while traveling across beautiful Utah !! We camped at Richfield KOA in a Motorhome.

Excellent value for a KOA park. Sites were close but I have found most commercial campgrounds to be this way. Staff was friendly and the bathrooms were very clean. We stayed there 3 times on a recent trip as an in-between stop during our visit to Utah national parks. Would definitely stay there again. We camped at Richfield KOA in a Truck Camper.

Our third year staying two weeks at this park. The park itself is beautiful with new improvements everywhere. The personal service by owners and staff continues to be the best in the business. We stayed here in our travel trailer under huge shade trees, and the space we like now has a huge patio with a fire pit or chiminea. Overall this is the nicest park we have stayed in in our 19 years of traveling together. We camped at Richfield KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Good home cooking at the Little Wonder Cafe downtown. Propane available just a couple minutes away at Tractor Supply. Sandi's Drive-In has a great burger menu at affordable prices close by. RV accessories available at the KOA office, Jorgensen's motor sports and at the WalMart...nearby. Drive up to Fishlake - beautiful area that climbs 4,ooo feet in 41 miles.

This park is a hidden gem in a residential neighborhood. Sites are nestled between beautiful trees and park is quiet and well kept. This was our second visit to this park and we were not disappointed. Staff came to our rescue when our slide wouldn't go in, and four of them pitched in to help and were glad to do so. We camped at Richfield KOA in a Motorhome.

Nice park in a residential area of town, so it's very quiet at night. No highway noise. Sites are decent size with lots of pull throughs, but it's all gravel. Very friendly and helpful people. We camped at Richfield KOA in a Motorhome.

Our visit was a 1-nighter, in-and-out. First Impression: Tricky to find. Some road signs are missing. Nice presentation, flowers everywhere, manicured lawns. Safety: No concerns. Access: Municipal roads in fair condition, poor signage, Garmin GPS is accurate. Office: Nice staff, token store with snacks, souvenirs, a few RV equipment items. Credit cards accepted. Online reservations available. KOA price discount. Facilities: Seasonal pool. No spa, fitness room, or rec center. Laundry room. Restrooms/showers look brand-new, modern, very clean, hot water with good pressure BUT stalls and changing area very tiny (score "A-"). Propane sales. Playground. Off-leash, gravel dog run. Campground: Not in a flood plain. No storm shelter. Moderately wooded. Interior roads are dirt/gravel in good condition with close turns. No overhead obstacles. Big rig and long coach friendly. Prevosts shouldn't have problems. Tent area and cabins but no yurts. Sites are all nearby, sufficiently level, dirt/gravel, pull-through and back-in, nice grass landscaping. Pedestals at middle of site with electric 20/30/50; no meters. Adequate water pressure with good taste. Sewer pipe is 3" threaded, about 2-3" above ground level. No patios; good picnic tables. Fire wood for sale but no fire rings. Marginal satellite views. Free digital cable TV (get converter in office). Free Wi-Fi with excellent coverage but no internet service (??). Verizon phone at 5 bars; 4G at 4-5 bars. No recycle bins. Noise: No railroad, aircraft, traffic, or interstate noise. Public school next door, lots of "kid-noise". Bug Report (late September): no insect issues. Runners: CG roads marginal for running. Yoga: put your mat on the grass if so inclined. Conclusion: Score 7-Good. We camped at Richfield KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Richfield, UT, is basically Main Street splitting residential homes. No national restaurant chains, Subway, DQ, McDonalds, other fast food shops. Didn't see a landromat. Wal-Mart. Local groceries. Diesel at Maverik $2.829. No RV stores.

We spent one night here on our way to southern Utah national parks, and were pleased with our stay. We had requested shade in our site and were assigned one of the shadiest (in an already shady park). Very nice & clean park, and very popular with ATVers. A bit dusty as interior roads are gravel, and the layout of the park can be a bit confusing. Great overnighter; a bit far from the national parks to be a good base camp for them, though. We would stay again. We camped at Richfield KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Interior roads can be a little confusing, but I wouldn't say they are hard to negotiate. Both a local grocery (Lin's) and Walmart are in town; good place to stock up. Managers/owners are friendly & helpful. Decent laundry facilities.

Nice KOA that is being renovated by the owner. They are in the process of adding Big Rig sites in the park. Those that are completed look good, we were assigned one that was still being landscaped. All the facilities worked well! We camped at Richfield KOA in a Motorhome.
