Manicured. If I had to pick one word, that would be it. It was such a cute park like setting - so clean, trimmed, green. We were in one of their last sites - off by itself, electric and water only, but right next to a huge pasture with cows, horses, ducks and geese. We loved it. Everyone very friendly, staff worked all day keeping grounds up, close to Capitol Reef, on corner of busy roads but didn't really hear road noise. Enjoyed immensely. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

A small but mighty fine RV Park. It’s conveniently located on HWY 24, well marked and easy to find. The grounds are pristine with beautiful grass and slide friendly trees for privacy between each lot. The lots are compacted gravel with spacious pull throughs and back ins. Everyone is friendly and respects one another’s privacy. The dog park is first class and spacious and next to a farm with a cow pasture full of cows, a horse, and a pond with ducks. The scenery is beautiful too. It is close to the road but can’t hear road noise at night... very quiet. There are 2 separate timed private showers and restrooms, plus a handicap shower with keypad entry that are large and extremely clean.

It’s conveniently located 10 or so miles from Capital Reef NP and several restaurants. There’s a car and RV wash across the street. Can’t say enough good things about this RV Park. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Motorhome.

Wish every privately owned park met the level of this one. It is very close to Hwy 24, but the traffic drops off to nil at night. Fairly level site. Good infrastructure. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed for two nights so that we could visit Capitol Reef National Park. It was very close to the park. It is not a large park but it was clean and well maintained. Some noise from the highway but not an issue for us. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We really enjoyed this rv Pk. It is clean and neat with green well watered grass in between sites. Our site was long enough for our 40’ mph to back in with car parked in front. We did not put down leveling jacks but used one block under front tires to level which is normal . Gravel sites and good loop drive around park. This is the closest and best park in town. WIFI worked well as did utilities and cable for tv We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is a gem. Quiet location with beautiful views, about a 10 minute drive from Capitol Reef NP. Attentive, friendly owner and staff. Immaculately maintained. Easy access from Route 12 at the intersection of Route 24. Interior roads are wide with hard-packed gravel and no ruts or potholes. No problem navigating with our big rig. Grassy sites with trees and picnic tables. There are some grassy common areas for kids to play, and a concrete area with a basketball hoop. Large fenced grassy dog run, big enough for a game of fetch. We didn't use their bathrooms or showers, so I can't comment on them. We're just ending a 1 week stay, and we'll be back again. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed 4 nights. For a small park the services are great. Everything is clean, Wi-Fi is strong and we were able to fill propane on site. Our site was level and utilities are placed right in the middle of each site. The owner took time out of his day to help me fix a bent trailer part. Small store with emergency supplies. Located next to 24 but even with the weekend traffic it is barely noticeable. Great play are for kids, dog area for dogs. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

One of the best campgrounds we visited because of the beautifully maintained grounds and facilities. However, the campground is right beside the main road, and there was traffic noise during the day. Otherwise, the park was fairly small and quiet. My only real complaint is that the buildings are cleaned from 10 to 11:30 every morning. Since check-out time is 11:00 am, you can't use the facilities for the last hour before you leave. Why couldn't they be cleaned after everyone checks out? Doesn't make any sense! Also, the showers have a time limit of 7 minutes in order to conserve water. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Red Cliff Restaurant was one of the few places open on a Sunday evening. Service was a bit slow, but it was getting rather crowded. We thought the food was very good, and the portions were generous. We didn't try dessert, but they sounded fantastic.

We had a level, gravel, pull through, FHU site that was satellite friendly. The Wi-Fi was OK for our minimal (e-mail and web surfing) needs. The bathrooms were clean but inadequate for a park with tent and non-sewer sites. I saw no recycling. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Motorhome.

Wonderful park if visiting Capitol Reef National Park. Easy drive and access in the park. Park does back up to the highway and we were in a back-in spot but heard very little road noise and traffic was very light after dark. One of the cleanest parks I've ever stayed at! Enjoy the apples. We spent 2-nights at Wonderland RV Park. The CG was well managed by on-site owners, who we observed spending hours each day maintaining the grounds. We spoke to several fellow campers who return every year - some because they enjoyed spending several weeks in the CG, others because its location allows them to visit Capitol Reef NP and then travel directly south to visit Escalante Staircase NP and Bryce NP. Yes, the CG is located at the intersection of 2 highways, but we didn't find the road noise excessive - particularly at night. We plan to return for a visit next spring, when we travel north from Arizona to Oregon. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This has been our favorite RV site on a three month trip. The park is lovingly maintained. It is full of fruit trees and grass. It is right next to a farm. You can feed a friendly horse apples right from the park. Though near an intersection, it is a quiet park, particularly at night. Our site was right next to the dog park and farm, a lovely spot. SP 12 (our friends' space) was even better -- next to a big lawn). New picnic tables here, too. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

There are no decent grocery stores in this town. Stock up before you get here or you'll be driving 10 to 15 miles. There's a mini mart right next door along with a Subway sandwich shop.

As is Fruita, Utah, just down the road, this park is an oasis in the desert. I have never before seen park management/ownership so concerned with fruit trees, lawns and other greenery as here. We have also never before seen as present, concerned and involved a manager as here. We have very much enjoyed our 3-day stay and certainly will stay again should we return to the area.
