Very well run park. Pros: close to Zion, clean, nice amenities (pool, playground, store, etc), fun activities nightly. Cons: tight spaces, people park tow vehicles partially in roadways making it hard to maneuver, no river view. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Great location near Zion NP but very tight streets and sites. Pool and small community room. Dog walk area very heavily used; our dogs would not go near it. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The price shown reflects the daily rate plus all local taxes minus the Good Sam discount. While it appears to be pricey, the RV parks in and around Zion National park are all on the upper end of the price range. This park is worth the price as far as I'm concerned since it is well maintained and has a a lot of activities for kids.(we had our grand kids along). The back in sites are a little hard to back into if you have a 27' or longer trailer. I've been backing trailers for 50+ years and it took a few tries to get it in the space. The spaces are cleaned immediately after a rig leaves. The support staff smooths the gravel, washes the table and cleans the fire pits for the next camper to arrive. The pull throughs are concrete and grass. Verizon Cell service was not good at all. The Park Wifi was very strong. You should make reservations as early as you can since this campground is always full. This is our 2nd trip to the park. We will return. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The town Of La Verkin is 6 miles away with gas stations and grocery stores. The services in Springdale nearer to Zion National park and 13 miles away are much more expensive. Hurricane, UT has a WalMart.

Very clean park. Two trees on one side were nice but their placement prevented us from opening our 20 foot awning (would have worked on 18 ft or less). Sandwiches (ham, turkey or roast beef) hot or cold with plenty of fixings and chips @ $8.99 served nightly 5:30-7:30 followed by two scoops of ice cream ($2.50 for store bought or $3.50 homemade) from 8:00 to 9:00 pm. Nightly activities including free smores around the campfire on Sunday night. Good family park. Free cable but surprisingly no ESPN or other general sports channels (had MAV for retro car racing). Sold out all summer according to a management staff member - we made our reservations in March. 10 degrees hotter than Zion National Park (ZNP). $7 shuttle to/from ZNP but only one trip per day departing at 8am and returning 2pm. Uber driver on site who can help if not working for the campground. 4 showers with toilet/changing area and with a full park there is a wait in the morning. Time limited though to 7 minutes. Purchased propane and there was no wait for service. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Lonny's BBQ in Hurricane was great at $12.99 (one meat)/$14.99 (two meat) plate with two sides. Plenty of leftovers to take home.

We had a full hookup, back in RV site. Generous spacing for our site, although other sites were typically close to one another when staying in an rv park with 133 sites. Cable included but not used. Wi-Fi was excellent. Verizon service was poor to non existent in our site. Pool and adult only spa. Spa is open to the kids from 8-9 only. Also there is an ice cream "social" from 8-9 with homemade ice cream which was delicious. Small playground for the kids. There are on site park activities (mostly for kids) like building a birdhouse, etc. Dog park consists of two small fenced areas with gravel only and no shade. Sites are level with concrete pads and grass between spaces. Driveways are a little tight, but manageable and paved. Spaces along the river offer no view and only 1 access point to the river - not worth the extra $ in my opinion - also there are signs posted about watching for snakes in that portion of the park. Spaces that back to highway are some what noisy with road traffic. Check in was smooth, staff friendly. Large general store with lots to offer. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

We had a back-in site adjacent to the river. The river isn't actually visible because of a flood-control levy... but we enjoyed the sound of the rushing water at night! This is definitely the best park in the area, and likely one of the best we've stayed at. Wifi worked great, and AT&T signal was 3 bars LTE. Cable TV is provided and the gift shop had a great selection and reasonable prices. I can't think of anything negative to say about this place... I'd come back any time I am within 100 miles looking for a place for the night, or several nights. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Well maintained, super pull thru sites, many amenities and close to Zion National Park. Management, especially Kim, really had it together. She went out of the way to sort out a confused (my fault) reservation. expensive, but well worth it. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

We had a level, full hookup, back in RV site along Zion River. There were frequent snake warning signs behind RV sites along the river. They didn't tell us this when we reserved the RV site. Cable included but not used. Spa closed at 8 pm when we got there. Had to wait about 30 minutes for a shower in the evening; there are too few shower and restroom facilities for 133 sites. Showers are timed for 7 minutes. Must wait 5 minutes, if you want additional 7 minutes' shower. Facility has a club house where people played loud music and danced until about 10 pm. We tried to sleep. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

One of the nicest parks we visited on our month long trip through the Utah/Nevada/Arizona area. Well laid out and professionally run. Short trip to both the "big city" of Hurricane, UT (everything you could need) and about 20 min to Zion NP. People were friendly and helpful. Camp store is nice and well stocked. Concrete pads, trees and some grass make for a nice site :-) We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

We have been full time RVers for the past 7 months. This RV park is among the best we have stayed in. Access is easy and the check in area had four spaces, three would accommodate any size RV. The check in was smooth and we found the staff to be great throughout our stay. Interior roads are tight but manageable. My only "complaint" was the size of the site. It was long enough for the RV and leveled with ease. However the back portion was sloped which limited the area to level. (We had to park the tow vehicle across the front on the RV.) There were two trees, one on each side, which was ok for slides but we could not extend the awning. The hook ups worked well and I really liked the light on the electric panel. We had sub freezing temps during our stay and it was nice to have the light on when disconnecting the water at night. Propane is available on site and was priced less than off site options. The park is a short drive to Zion National Park. Hurricane, La Verkin and Washington are short drives for supplies. (Walmart in Hurricane, Costco in Washington) The Costco has diesel and it very big rig friendly! We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Pioneer park in St George has great hiking. There was a small slot canyon and several mounds for scrambling up and down. The Owens Loop trail is a three mile R/T with great views of the city and into Snow Canyon to the north.

We organized a group RV outing for our Elks Club. Upon checking in, they changed my site# with no notification which was a problem because we were gathering the first night at our site for cocktails. (One site was not notified due to the office inefficiency)! We were also told we would get a 15% discount with 8 reservations. We had 12 confirmed but due to injury/ illness, 3 people had to cancel. When I checked in, I was told emphatically by the RUDE manager that there were only 7 reservations remaining and No discount would be given. At our first night gathering we counted 9 sites participating in our outing and had to insist that the charges be reversed and the discount given!! A little bit of customer service/courtesy by the manager would have gone a long way. All other employees appeared to be very customer service oriented and were pleasant to deal with. The manager needs to take lessons from her employees on how to treat the resorts customers. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice RV park 20 minutes from Zion National Park entrance. All roads are paved with easy access. Each site has level concrete pads, a nice grass area with a gravel "patio", picnic table, and fire ring. All the utilities worked well, are convenient, and east to hook up. The pool, hot tub, and patio area is very clean and inviting. There are a lot of trees that would be welcome in the summer heat. The entire park are beautiful and well maintained. There is a convenience store in the office area. The staff is friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and helpful. The park is filled all the time, so advance reservations are needed. Rated as Excellent - We Highly recommend this RV park. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

This beautiful park is 20 minutes from Zion Park main entrance; but, it is worth the extra drive. The staff are very friendly and the park is well run. Every site is cleaned, raked and picnic table scrubbed between campers. You are sent daily activites and notices via email. The pool and hot tub are lovely with the pool cool and refreshing and the hot tub hot for soaking. They operate a shuttle to and from Zion main entrance if you don't want to drive. At Virgin, you at the entrance to the Kolob Terrace part of Zion Park that is far less crowded and has some good hiking. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The resort is very well maintained and in immaculate condition. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It's about a 20 min drive to the Zion NP Visitor Center. My site was a pull-through that was just long enough for my 41 ft Motorhome and Towed vehicle. Each site has some trees that provide needed shade since it was fairly hot (upper 90's) while I was here. The campground Wifi is very good, which was important to me since my Verizon cell signal was very poor and mostly non-existent. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.
