Traveling in a 38 foot coach we stayed 4 nights in a site for big rigs. Our site was green grass and wasn't level. All the sites located in the very front of the park were on grass by a pond, which meant no dust and not having to wash the coach or car after our stay. This park is located across the road from the lake which made for a beautiful view from our site. We were in the site closest to the front and the road, but traffic was minimal and we found it peaceful enough to sit outside and enjoy the sound of the pond frogs and the view. Too many large trees here for satellite reception. Almost the whole park (in the back) consists of long term residents but their sites were all clean and well kept. We enjoyed our stay but would have prefered staying in a level site. We camped at 10 Acres Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

The park was easy to access considering the back roads of Vermont. It is right on Lake Champlain with the entrance road running between the lake and the park. Most of the sites are seasonal with a smaller number reserved for "overnighters". Utilities were easy to access. Do not recall that they had wifi--Verizon worked nominally, if I recall correctly. My site was very short with a hill right behind which left my front end almost in the road--and I am only 24 ft. It was also very unlevel. However, all that is worth putting up with being so close to the lake and just down the road from the Lake Champlain bridge. The park itself is pleasant and tidy. Although I was not thrilled with my site, the lake is beautiful, the visit was pleasant and I would definitely return. We camped at 10 Acres Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

This is a wonderful place for exploring Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks --you cross the bridge which is just down the road and you are in New York. There are two historic sites just as you cross the bridge and one at the entrance. Shopping is not close but in about twenty minutes you can get to where you need to get to get what you want. There is a little cafe which is very popular right where you get on to the bridge, so just down the road from the park.

We have been camping here for 3-4 years and have to say, the owners take pride in keeping their campground meticulously kept. Bathrooms are clean and the owners are seen mowing lawns and improving the campground constantly. The pool is the cleanest we've ever used. But they enforce no splashing/diving and other rules strictly for the enjoyment and protection of all their campers. We've never had a problem. One issue that is more problematic (I could be wrong) is the lower level where one would pitch a tent (which is where we camp) due to the swampy area behind seems to have a lot of mosquitoes. One site is very hilly and not recommended but the others are well manicured and kept. The seasonal campers are very friendly and their prices are reasonable. We camped at 10 Acres Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Vergennes great place to go for the day and our grandchildren love Crown Point, where we can bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the fort. Great biking routes.

A nice view from our site, which was A2 if I remember correctly. We could look out over Lake Champlain, but also had the propane tank and a scummy pond as part of our view. On check in the owner (wife) told us this was the most level site for us and that is why she put us here. She told us to stay on the "sewer" site and that would be best to get level. After about an hour of backing in and out, her husband came out and assisted us. We have been RVing for many years, and backing into a sight is not a problem. We just never could get level on this site. When we were somewhat level, we gave up. We had two beautiful shade trees, but the problem was that we could not position the RV to allow room for the awning to be put out. We decided to just deal with this and stay the two nights we had planned. However, after about an hour and our power coming on for about 15-30 seconds and then going out, we were miserable. I went to the office to ask what to do and was directed to the husband. He told me it was because we were running ac/refrigerator/hot water heater on 30amp. For the past three weeks we had stayed on 30amp sites, so we knew this was not the problem. He also told us the people before us had no problem. He had us turn off the hot water heater, but the problem continued. After he checked everything out, he realized they were not getting the full 30amp from the power company and there was nothing to do. The entire park was on low voltage. He did apologize and refunded us the money for both nights, although his wife thought we should be able to deal with this. It was in the high 90's and our pets were beginning to show signs of heat exhaustion and we were so hot we could not stay. So at 5 pm we had to pack up, hook the car up and look for another place to stay. We were very disappointed and didn't like that at first we were treated like we didn't know what we were doing. Also, the wife told us she didn't know of any other campgrounds anywhere nearby. Luckily we knew of one less than 30 minutes away and they were able to accommodate us. If they could fix the voltage problem, this may be an OK place, but we didn't even get to walk around the park and we were right beside the office, so we cannot say anything about the park. It did appear there were mostly seasonal sites and they were very close together with all kinds of stuff around and under the trailers there. Close to the NY-VT bridge over Lake Champlain, but I would not recommend this park to anyone. We camped at 10 Acres Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mostly seasonal campers, but the sites closest to the entrance are great for transient campers. Owners, as well as seasonal campers, are very friendly. Once a year our family rents six sites for a long weekend and we always have a good time. Close to Lake Champlain and New York State. We will revisit.
