Overnight stay $18 no hookups, 27 campsites, 23 lean-to shelters, 5 cabins, This is one of at least 4 campgrounds in this forest all on different lakes. 17 miles of hiking trails and a multi-use trail trail over 20 miles used for biking, walking, snowmobiling, and horseback riding. It is in the wilderness but it is beautiful in the forest. We were in a RV loop of about 5 sites and since we are only 25 feet we did not have any problems backing into the sites. The RV loop is not on the water but most of the other loops for tenting are. Check in was quick and easy and the bathrooms were clean. Off of interstate 89 this is about a 20 mile drive on some twisting roads that go up and down the Mountains. - gsnakehill

The roads in VT leave much to be desired and the state road leading from US 2 to the campground is really rough even at 35 mph. I called at least 3 weeks before for a site and we arrived just before lunch time. There was a sign on the office door saying: "Back at 5." (and something like) Park in the center and something about a post. I had no idea what the note meant. I worked my way into a site next to the office. While we were eating lunch a couple arrived and he knocked on the door saying there was going to be a family reunion and he had reserved that site 2 weeks ago. We were on our way to the last tour of the day at Rock of Ages so I said we would be back after 5. When we returned the owner showed up saying I gave the other guy a hard time. I said why didn't you say take a site in the center of the field (numbered 1 to 4)? He gave me a blank look and said I had to move. By not placing a cone or tape on the reserved site it caused me to have to move and the other guy to move also. There was a storm threatening and it began to rain. That said the campground is very neat with grass everywhere. For a small campground there is lots of traffic coming and going. Nothing around there so I'm not sure where they are going. VZ service was spotty, Sprint not at all. Wifi was weak but worked slowly. - mrracechaser

This is Vermont ! The GPS sent us to the State Park instead of here.
Quiet, no one was there to check in.
There weren't any level lots, We had to switch our sleeping arrangements around. Our lot probably had a 30 degree downward slope.
There were about 5 people in the whole park that night. Everyone was a permanent except for us.
The stars were beautiful! No tv service, no phone service just peace and quiet after a long drive from Ont Canada that day.
The bathrooms do not have any heat so the showers didn't appear to have been used for awhile. It was COLD in them thar hills!!!
If your going to stay for awhile bring a book. - SubVet SSBN619

Clean, quiet and very friendly helpful owner. Had some problems with our van and helped us find a dealer to help. WiFi poor unless you go to the porch of the main building. No shade, no level pads just grass to park on. - Moose and Squirrel

Sep 2018 - $33.00
$40 per night but we averaged $33 for a 3 night stay with the Passport America discount. W/E50. This campround is an open grass field beside a little brook with nice spacing between sites. You must cross over a one lane bridge with a 24,000 pound limit to reach the campround. The road by the office and through the campround is awful with deep holes. It appears they have recently installed new water and electric hookups. We stayed here since we were Passport America members and would still stay here again. - Teddi2
Aug 2018 - $28.00
Roads to the park are good, the road into the park has a narrow bridge with a weight limit of 27,000 lbs, but we went across it in our Class A as we had already turned onto the road and had no where else to go! The roads in the park are rutted so go slow. There was no check in as we paid in advanced. We did get led to our site but there was some confusion as to what sites were 30 or 50 amp. Sites are very unlevel, you can see the slopes and rolls in the ground. We ended up parking parallel to the hook-ups across a couple of sites - per their instructions - as there was no way to level otherwise. We had water and 50 amp electric, and there is a dump station on site. There was a fire ring and they brought us a picnic table when we requested one. The park is clean and very pretty, the grass really needed to be cut. There are lots of trials for hiking, one that takes you to the Rail Bed Trail and along another creek. There is no WiFi and our Verizon signal was good. No on site laundry. Some road noise but not too bad. Would love to give this a full star rating because it is such a nice place with the trails and river, but the unlevel sites and no WiFi, make that impossible. We stayed July 30 - August 6, 2018 and paid $28.57 a night with no discount. - BarrettsHappyTrails
Oct 2016 - $37.00
This park had heavily-potholed entry roads, traffic noise and no Wi-Fi. Our 30-amp, no sewer site delivered only 109 volts of electricity. The few spots with 50 amp and sewer were occupied by long-term customers. A bridge on the only access road had a 27,000 pound limit, a legalism frequently ignored to judge by the Class A motor homes in the park. Our satellite dish had no problems. Verizon phone/internet service was spotty. - Mtmoi

Nov 2018 - $30.00
This is a very small park and a bit tight for a full size motorhome, but the owners were very helpful to get us into our back-in space with no issues. We stayed here for one week to visit Burlington, Stowe and other sites within 1 hour drive. Noise from the nearby highway could be an issue for some, but we always use "sound machines" to cover noise when sleeping, so it was fine. WIFI was typical of most CGs, ie, not real good. No TV cable or on-air channels available. Overall good value camping rate and very friendly owners! - Mark 5
Jul 2018 - $30.00
Small but quite pretty campground on hillside. Level site, fairly closely spaced. To sit out we sat behind the coach. Next to major highway, but noise not too bad. Good 30 amp, hookups good. Very friendly owners, who were more than willing to help as needed. Friendly seasonals. Good location to visit area attractions. - Motorhome girl
Jun 2018 - $26.00
This facility is easily reached and any updated GPS will take you right to the driveway. Remember the old saying "never judge a book by its cover" well this definitely applies here. When I first got in off the road I thought to myself "where is the campground". It's tight coming in and what you see in front of you is the entire park. But don't turn around and leave because, if you do, you will miss a truly fantastic place to stay. During our time here we felt like we were staying with family. Our site #10 was a back in, it was level, it had ample shade, convenient utilities, and good separation. Only two small negatives: there is only 30 amp so if you're a power user keep this in mind; there is absolutely no over the air TV nor cable. The owners and hosts will do everything reasonably possible to make your stay a wonderful experience. They definitely maintain the park and it shows. Depending on your site there may be road noise from Route 2 - but truthfully, we never noticed it even at night and even though we were backed up right to it. WI-FI was excellent. Clean but small laundry room. We would definitely come back again - William T

This site - RV dealership - no longer allows overnight camping. - SailorGolf
Oct 2012 - $30.00
This is a nice RV park if you want to stay in this area. As stated in another review the park is owned by the RV dealership next door so some of the sites are filled with overflow from the lot. The host was great and made us feel welcome and let us pick the site that worked best for us. The road noise is fairly loud as it is right by the highway. Water hookups are quite a bit away if you have a mid-rig connection. We would stay here again. The Bragg Farm Sugarhouse is worth a visit nearby. - Sixontheroad
Jul 2012 - $27.00
The park is next to US Route 2. Road noise was pretty bad during the day but mostly ended by 6 pm. Bart, the park manager, gave us excellent service - above and beyond the call of duty! Our toad had a bad wheel bearing and Bart followed me to the repair shop (Bill's Auto Repairs) and took me back to the park - a distance of some 25 miles. The shop owner came out the park to pick me up and take me back to the shop to pick up my car. The people of Vermont exemplify the meaning of "Southern hospitality". Friendly and helpful to the point of making you feel like family. - davedopp

Sep 2018 - $36.00
Traveling in a 38 foot coach we stayed 4 nights in a site for big rigs. This is an adult only park. This park is well maintained with beautiful landscaping. The park is definitely going for the green look which is why all sites consist of grass. The owner's are very protective of this grass, so the rules state no rugs, mats or anything that might harm the grass. Otherwise, we would have used our screen tent which would have been nice protection from all the mosquitoes living in the grass. Instead, we were only able to sit outside for short periods of time before the swarms of mosquitoes drove us inside. Dog owner's beware there are rules about where you can walk your dog. No dogs allowed near the office and the owner's home, they will mark this area on the park map. But that still leaves plenty of areas where you can walk your dog. Mostly long term residents here, but all sites are clean and well maintained. No satellite reception too many large trees. This park is located in a quiet area so if you're looking for quiet and no kids, this is the place for you. - JDC10

A fastidiously maintained property with a carpet of beautiful grass. No carpets allowed on it. Cable TV has been removed but we got a sat friendly site. #15. Wifi was excellent. Faculties were clean. Will stay again. - Geodoc

Nice quite park with spacious pull-through site. There are low branches over interior roads. There is a very steep one mile stretch leading to the park but it's a good road. - HaveDieselWillTravel

This is one of the largest, most attractive commercial campgrounds we've ever stayed at, with 100+ campgrounds under our belts. Most of the sites are rented seasonally, but all were very well kept, some with landscaping that would put most houses to shame. The campground is huge, but very hilly, with most sites carved out of the hills and then leveled. This means most sites are spaced pretty far apart, and many have very long driveways (100+ feet) to get to the level part of the site. We stayed for a week and were in one of a handful of pull-through sites which are, unfortunately, closer together, but still nice. Our site was the end of the row so we had a huge lawn on our camping side. There's also a small section next to the pool where sites are much closer together and not nearly as nice. There were plenty of places to walk our dog inside the campground, plus there are trails within and adjacent to the campground. They have a very nice looking mini golf course, a pool, playgrounds, and more. We were able to receive deliveries at the office. The only downside for us was cellular connectivity. We had 2 bars of AT&T 4G at our site, but it was usually very slow. Other parts of the campground had no AT&T. We had 2 bars of Verizon LTE at our site, and sometimes it was fast, other times extremely slow. We'd return, as long as we don't get put in the cramped sites next to the pool. - LifeRebooted

Over all a very nice park. A few things to consider. Few garbage cans. No dog park and they charge $7.00 a day for WiFi. Really? They advertise as a Good Sam park but refuse to honor discount. - User1308
Aug 2017 - $46.00
Usually we get one of the pull thrus but none available so we had a back in on top of the hill. Luckily our sat dish was in font end of coach or the trees would have blocked it. Still a nice park just not the best site. It was level and we were pretty much alone. - peddy dick

We stayed in a 40 ft motorhome. Our first site, #4 was not level enough for us to get level. However, the campground owner was very helpful and gave us options to choose from. We chose site#2 which was by the river and had no problem leveling. Had a lot of rain and the roads and sites drained well. Scenic half hour drive to Mt Washington. Cable reception was good but Verizon was weak in the entire area. We would stay there again. - Jim and Susan

This is a lovely CG which seems to be a new section of a larger existing CG. (since the office was closed I don't really know) It is located right on the Connecticut River and many of the sites look out onto the river and trees (and mountains on the other side of the river). There are brand-new full hook-ups, cable, and even wi-fi that works. There is a store (closed). For an overnight stop near the White Mountains, this is ideal. There are some seasonals but everything is very tidy and well-kept. The roads are perfectly paved and the gravel sites are level. - virginianola
Jul 2016 - $48.00
My family stayed four nights in a lovely full hook-up site that backed onto a wooded hill. The campground is ATV-friendly, and sometimes they were noisy, but most riders were courteous. During the Fourth of July celebration many campers were rowdy long, long after quiet hour. The views of the mountains from the campground were fantastic, and the drive down the hill to the campground was breath-taking. We also liked watching the Connecticut River flow by. Nature's beauty abounds in this campground and its locality. - FADV

Rate reflects Tents for Troops Discount (2 nights free for active duty military). Nice park located in Bath, NH. Easy in and out, and a lot to keep a family busy. We camped in Sep, and the pool was supposed to be closed, but they kept it open as the weather was still warm. Nice jumping off place for plenty to see and do. We would stay here again. - RVerFamily

This is a nice campground on a pretty little lake; with gravel interior roads and grass sites that are level and roomy. The grounds are neatly mowed, with large shade trees and pretty landscaping. There is a small camp store, a swim beach on the lake, and a fenced dog area with grass. We would stay here again. - FranM
Aug 2018 - $45.00
This is a really nice park. Well groomed, quiet and peaceful. Sites are grass and level and the park is right on the edge of a small lake. All connections worked well, the owner was very pleasant and helpful. Restrooms and showers were clean. I'm not fond of coin slot showers but these were OK (25 cents for 7 minutes). Laundry worked well. Wash $2.00, $1.50 to dry. This park is very convenient to exploring Northern Vermont. We will stay here anytime we are in this area. - bb6306
Sep 2017 - $30.00
We stayed at Limehurst Lake CG for a week while waiting for the fall leaf change. This is a wonderful, quiet, well cared for campground with mostly level sites that are nicely spaced. The sites are grass that is well manicured and the CG interior roads are gravel that is kept smooth and dust free. We had a full hookup, 50 amp site that allowed us to use our sat dish for TV. The CG sits right next to a private lake that is clean and fishable. The owners are extremely helpful and friendly, as were the other campers. We were concerned about some previous reviews, mentioning the extra $5 per day charge for using air conditioning, heaters, or washers, but since we are here in the fall we never needed our AC or heater. We did pay $5 for one day to wash clothes, but still felt the price was commensurate with what the CG provided. We will be back. In fact, we have already made reservations to return for two weeks. - glenstmary
