My favorite campgrounds. Super clean and excellent maintenance of sites. Fire rings with adjustable and removable cooking grates! Water is available as well as a dump station at the bathroom shower building. Very quiet, well maintained hiking trails. Your hosts are wonderful people! - jofus

The park is well maintained, quiet, and very pleasant. Owners are very helpful and welcoming. They are very dog-friendly, which is important to us. Very easy access from Rt. 91. - Bob and Linda
Aug 2019 - $44.00
We only stayed one night, but for some reason, I really lijed it. We were in the lowrr level, site 48. Very hard to get level and utilities wer
e on opposite side, but 1 nite we didn't care. We had a nice view of the pond and fountain. - TBWard
Jul 2019 - $37.00
This is a great campground! It is in a beautiful wooded setting. There is a very clean above ground pool and a really nice swimming pond. Owners were very nice and helpful, check in was pleasant. Sites are on gravel and grass with table and fire pit. Would definitely stay here again if ever back in the area! - Admiral II
Aug 2019 - $35.00
Level grassy sites easily accessible to my 37 FT 5th wheel. Pleasant, helpful staff. There are full timers but plenty of transient sites. Would stay again if in area. - Johnspjr
Oct 2019 - $38.00
I'm torn about telling you about this camp or keeping it to myself. In my top five of all camps in the United States, and I have been full-timing almost 2 years. Gorgeous, quiet, peaceful camp, new owners dedicated to improvements, awesome grounds for hiking or just relaxing. Come in the beginning of October, and the trees will take your breath away. The walk down to the brook is worth the whole thing. I have a dog, and was warned multiple times about coyotes, but did not see or hear any. Supposedly a bear in the area too - garbage bins are snap shackled, so some critters around. Do not leave any food out. - Bill Kelly
Aug 2018 - $37.00
Nice RV park that is tucked back in away from the busy highways. There are many seasonal campers but their sites were nicely maintained. New ownership as of 7/18/2018 who are working to improve the park. The areas for short term guests have electric and water hookups in a nicely treed part of the campground. No circuit breakers on pedestals. Restroom and shower facilities were very clean but had pay showers. Small pool and playground that appeals to kids. There is a nice stream bordering the property. - linnemj
Aug 2016 - $38.00
One of the best parks we've visited, great location, tall pines, wonderful perennial gardens, quiet, tended by very conscientious park hosts, several of whom stopped by to chat, as we were enjoying our campfire. We stayed two nights, the second night's stay - late arrival- around 8PM, was unforeseen due to unexpected tire issues and the host on duty was a bit snippy, as we couldn't locate an easy staffer to register with. he later apologized. The facilities were immaculate. This park is well off the main roads and was as quiet as one could possibly wish. We strongly recommend this park. - Dondi-496
Jun 2016 - $42.00
This campground is very friendly and inviting! New owners are very nice and helpful. Stayed for the weekend. Beautiful view of the water and beach is clean also very convenient to highway to go to the center of Lebanon. Over all we had a great time! - Tracy winder
May 2016 - $38.00
The campground is tiered on a hillside. It was impossible to maneuver our 38' fifth wheel on the top level but the owner moved us to a lower spot. It is a difficult place for large rigs to get in and out of. The hook ups worked fine and we had a beautiful view of the lake across the street. The wifi was excellent! The sites are unlevel due to the hillside. This was a nice campground and the owners were very friendly and accommodating. - Melodycthomas
Aug 2015 - $1.00
This was our 4th time at Mascoma in the past 8 years. New owners are great, very helpful. There are many seasonals, but still several open sites for rent. People were friendly & location is great as it is close to major highways, recreation, sightseeing, shopping, etc. Would definitely stay again & again. - CJKC
Sep 2019 - $60.00
Very nice park - very clean, staff is great. There are a couple of levels... lower level has small but acceptable dog area, upper area has a HUGE open field you can walk your dog or let them run loose. So much to see in this area - make time, stay long enough to see as much as possible. Some sites have lovely patios - but all are nice and most very level. - Dixies Mom
Sep 2019 - $58.00
One of the best stays ever. Not only was the staff friendly and the sites flat and well-maintained, but they had helpful handouts. Places to eat? They had a handout. Day trips and things to see/do? Handout. Rainy Day activities nearby? Handout. The extra information was very helpful. - DebGA
Aug 2019 - $60.00
Love the facility, very neat and well kept. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again. - Mazzie
Aug 2016 - $24.00
Park has large, fairly level campsites throughout the park. No hookups, but outlets available at bathhouse or covered area near entrance, where there is wifi available.
Simply beautiful campground, friendly staff, and interesting state. - SDgypsy
Aug 2016 - $50.00
A great family campground . Everything is spotless clean . Employees are very helpful . A bit of highway noise from route 4 but not all that bad . It does get quiet at night . - GDM
May 2016 - $20.00
This is a great state park, set in a forest of tall stately pines. The campsites offer considerable privacy and are fairly large, most able to easily fit 2 large tents and 2 vehicles.
Some sites pair up nicely with others for multiple family/friend get-togethers. I recommend sites 9,11, 32-38 but I did not see a bad campsite. Amazingly it is an easy walk to the gorge, shops, and visitors center but has a feeling of isolation and is very quiet. - Ronahue
Jul 2016 - $35.00
Great place if you want to retire. I don't know what's louder the campers or the crickets. It's lights out at 8:30....pretty awesome. - Scooby1
Jun 2015 - $25.00
We first chose Pine Haven because of the location to most of what north New Hampshire had to offer. It is about a 45 minutes to an hour drive to many of the great sites. First off, this is a campground and not a resort, so if you are looking for resort style camping, this is not for you. What you do get is a wonderfully run campground by some wonderful people. We had planned on staying two weeks but extended two more weeks to have some work taken care of at Camping World. We looked at five other campgrounds closer to Camping World, but none of them were as nice as Pine Haven.
The owners take amazing pride of Pine Haven and it spreads to all the people that stay there. The seasonal campers are by far the nicest group of people we have met since we started full time traveling six months ago. The sites are large, private, and well shaded. Water and electric were ideal, Wi-Fi had some issues, but being taken care of by the staff. There was minimal cell service for Verizon so several times we had to drive a few minutes down the road so our calls wouldn't drop (obviously not something controlled by the campground, just an FYI). Bath houses are old but clean, laundry is in a covered porch, needs to be updated and has cold water only.
There are events for children and adults, which usually have great turnouts. It is very quiet, even when fully booked during the 4th of July weekend. Typical noise during the day, no disturbances at all, and completely peaceful at night. If you plan on coming here for a weekend party blowout, go somewhere else.
The nightly rate is based on a monthly rate for our stay. If we return to New Hampshire next summer, we will definitely return to Pine Haven. - pfogleboch
Aug 2014 - $36.00
This campground is a hidden gem among the campgrounds in NH. It is clean, fun, and friendly. There is much to do in this area and discover. You could hike in Tenney mountain area or shop in local antiques or bargains. If you care to travel a little the White Mountain attraction are not far. Your hosts/owners are gracious and more than helpful for all your needs or information. Sites are level and more wooded with w/e hookups at river. We stayed in a pop-up. - Hargus
Jun 2008 - $37.00
As with all my reviews I like to qualify my taste in campgrounds because that tends to influence your rating significantly. I love woodys shady sites with lots of privacy so if your a RV resort concrete slab pave road type of camper this is not the campground for you. But if your like me and like the woods and the feeling of being out in the deep woods sitting around the campfire this place is AWESOME ! The campground is very small and very basic no fluff here. There is a beautiful rambling brook that splits the campground down the middle on one side is the tenting area. The tenting area is one of the best I've ever seen. Beautiful large VERY private sites, many that run along the river. If your into riverside "deep woods feeling" type of tenting this is the place. There are really no activities to speak of they do have a excellent basketball court and a basic mini-golf and small playground BUT if your into hiking they have an excellent hiking area that gives you beautiful outlooks and there is tons of hiking in the area as well. Lots of other tourist attracts close by too. Majority of the sites are small rig type of sites there are a few that can handle larger units up to 35'. We camped in a 35' 5th wheel right on the brook electric and water no sewer. The site was beautiful, quiet, private, nice round stone fireplace, and the sound of water running over the rocky riverbed all day and night. If you looking a for a nice quiet relaxing place this is it, nothing fancy just nature. The store was small and provided basic needs. The bathroom was rustic but clean. One glaring negative, the dumpstaion is on the wrong side so you have to navigate a u-turn to dump then again to leave. I don't quite understand why the don't rectify that situation. We will definitely be back, its an excellent quiet relaxing campground for just hanging out or using as a base for all the fun things to do in the area. - Quint
Jul 2007 - $33.00
The website and its description of the campground is quite misleading. The brook was stagnant as was the thickly weeded pond, so swimming was not an option. They had a new basketball court and mini golf course. My children, both under 6, were not allowed to use the mini golf. The rec room was closed during posted open hours. Bathroom facility although clean was very small with two toilets and two shower stalls. We stayed one night of our planned three. Management did refund our money for the other two nights. - Lucas874
Jul 2019 - $57.00
We saw this campground online, and we went to look at it. The lady was pleasant, and showed us what lots were available. We took a ride around. The lots are very close together and the campers were like were parked within inches of each other. We don't really care about looking into someone else's kitchen or bedroom, or have to keep our curtains closed. The lots should have been spaced out more to give more room and more privacy. - 8896
May 2018 - $48.00
I really like it hear, it is a nice little campground with a pool and splash pad. Office staff was great each and every time we entered the store. Other campers were very friendly an nice which always makes it nice. Being a holiday weekend we found the place to be very quiet which was great. Also our pull through site was very large, long and wide with bushes between sites. On the negative side for us, maybe not everyone, there is little to no cell service in the area and we know this going in. When this situation happens we rely on WiFi and cable. Unfortunately not all full hook up sites have cable and the cable sites were taken when we booked back in Feb. The WiFi was weak and not working for a good paper of the weekend. They told us at checkin that it would be slow since the park was full. If any one of these three were available it would have been better. My wife said on the way home that there are enough great campground with all three so she will not be in a rush to return which is too bad since it is a nice place otherwise. - Happy Camper X2
Aug 2017 - $48.00
This was our first stay here and will not be our last. From check in to the end of our stay we truly enjoyed this campground. We had a site that backed to the brook and the brook led to a river. It is a very quiet, quaint place. It was very peaceful and beautiful. The owners were very nice and they kept the place clean and quiet. We saw one or two patrols at night but there was not much for them to do as everyone was quiet. We were able to enjoy the heated pool which really hit the spot and we also went blueberry picking just down the street. They offer various activities throughout the weekend for those who want to participate. There are a few seasonal's here but they are kind off off on their own in 2 locations of the campground. We checked out the bathrooms to find they were very modern and clean. Our site was plenty large enough and all the connections worked well and were placed in a great location to be used. We enjoyed our stay and will return as there is plenty to do in the area. - Happy Camper X2
