One of the best stays ever. Not only was the staff friendly and the sites flat and well-maintained, but they had helpful handouts. Places to eat? They had a handout. Day trips and things to see/do? Handout. Rainy Day activities nearby? Handout. The extra information was very helpful. We camped at Quechee / Pine Valley KOA in a Motorhome.

A heavily wooded country campground. Asphalt entrance road turning to mostly single lane mostly gravel interior roads. Some tightness here and there but doable with a big rig. Relatively narrow sites set in the woods - satellite access very problematic. Mostly level with grass between the sites. Power OK, did not use water or sewer. Campground wifi had good signal with 1.1 Mbps; Verizon was 3 bars @ 2.2 Mbps; T-Mobile no service. No recycle on site that we found. OK road bike riding from campground. Good location for taking King Arthur baking classes. We would consider returning in the future. We camped at Quechee / Pine Valley KOA in a Motorhome.

We camped here in a 45' Bus and found the entire park staff to be friendly and competent. We were originally assigned to a pull through site, yet wanted additional days and were moved in advance of arrival to a back-in site which proved to be excellent because the park and park roads are small and I do not believe I could have pulled out from any of the pull through sites as there was not enough room in front of the site to safely turn out onto the road. So if in 45' coach, be sure to get a back in near the office. Campground wifi was only fair, yet good Verizon data made up the difference. Disconnect your toad prior leaving the registration office. We camped at Quechee / Pine Valley KOA in a Motorhome.

HIKING - Mt. Tom at Marsh, Billings, Rockefellar National Park was super! Take the main trail / old carriage trail to the top and be sure to circle the pond. For an incredibly gorgeous return, take the Precipice trail down, but only if you can walk on very narrow rocky paths and ledges. All of the ledges have cables to prevent a fall, yet sure footing and balance are a must for each person on this super scenic trail.

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $61.00
Overall Rating:

First Impression: Small, compact, attractive presentation. Safety: No concerns. Access: I-89, Vermont exit 1 to route 4, turn left, about 1 mile. Municipal route 4 in good condition. CG access road in good condition, good signage, Garmin GPS is accurate. Office: Super friendly staff, store with snacks, gifts, a few RV equipment items. Credit cards accepted. Online reservations available. My price reflects the KOA discount. Facilities: Pool. No spa, fitness room, or rec center. Nice restrooms/showers, clean, no mold, hot water, small changing space (score "A"). Propane sales. Nice playground. Off-leash dog run. Campground: Not in a flood plain. Use restrooms as storm shelter. Heavily wooded. Interior roads are narrow, gravel in good condition but watch the turns; watch for overhead tree branches. Big rigs and long coaches might have maneuvering problems. Tent areas; no yurts. Cabins available for rent. Sites are all nearby, level, gravel, some pull-through, most are back-in, nice site landscaping. Pedestals at rear of site with electric 20/30/50; no meters. Low water pressure with good taste. Sewer pipe is 4" threaded, about 3" above ground level. Premium sites have paver patios. Usable picnic tables. Fire rings, buy wood at office. Poor satellite views (trees). Free cable TV (20+ channels). OTA TV found 12 fuzzy channels. Free Wi-Fi. Verizon phone and 4G at 1 bar. Recycle and trash pickup at site. Noise: No railroad, aircraft, traffic, or interstate noise. Bug Report (late June): no insects noted. Runners: CG roads marginal for running (gravel). Yoga: No good place to put your mat. Conclusion: Score 6-Nice. We camped at Quechee / Pine Valley KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Quechee, VT, is a "village" - not really a town. A few local restaurants, no fast food, some gift shops, 2 gas stations (that I saw). Drive a few miles into New Hampshire, North Concord for Walmart (no fuel), BJ's groceries (diesel at $2.929). Applebees and local restaurants, Starbucks, Autozone, typical fast food eateries. K-Mart. Jo-Ann Fabrics.

This KOA campground is an excellent find for the weary traveller! What a clean, neat, and beautiful facility! I was completely impressed with the owners care for the grounds and their campers. They are super to military veterans and gave me a site upgrade and 10% discount. I met the owners one night as they were making their rounds on the John Deere Gators and they were amenable and quick to ensure my stay was everything I thought it should be. I will definitely be staying here again. In fact, I may intentionally redirect my journey to return here for a lovely stay (again)! There's a small pond for water craft and catch-and-release fishing. There are recumbent-style bike for use for all ages and great walking spaces. There's even a doggie park and a pirate ship playground! We camped at Quechee / Pine Valley KOA in a Travel Trailer.

We had a great trip at a great campground. Unlike our last trip here we loved our site this trip. We had a newer deck site which was awesome. Since we were a group of 5 sites plus some visitors, the deck site worked out great. We were the central meeting place and it could not have worked out better. This site and campground has spoiled us for other places. The roads were good, the stone sites were great, the area has lots to offer, everything was just great. We are so glad we picked this area to spend the weekend. We camped at Quechee / Pine Valley KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Friendly staff, but the site we have had for two years on the hill are not level and our levelers would not work unless we placed boards (provided by the staff) under the left side of the motorhome. We had a back in. The staff told me that they level the sites every year but there is some wash out on the hill side sites. We camped at Quechee / Pine Valley KOA in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful park and the staff goes out of their way to keep it clean and help you in every way. There is a lovely pond with Adirondack chairs to sit on. They will even deliver ice and wood to your campsite. They will pick up your propane and fill it and deliver it back. Nice brick patio and campfire at our site. We stayed at Pine Valley KOA over the Memorial Day weekend. Everything was excellent except for one small issue. Visitors. Upon arrival, the check in process was quick and we were escorted to our site. We reserved a pull through which was snug for our 40' Class A and towed CRV. It was gravel base and level. The sites are very close to each other too. The escort noted a few low branches and before we were leveled he trimmed them. The park was well kept and the owners attention to detail was evident. Be aware that "visitors" will get you an additional $5 pp charge. Our friends met us at the KOA for a planned visit to the Billings Museum. They dropped us off later and took a brief walk to see the campground facilities and left shortly thereafter. After I inquired about the charge, I was told it's required for accountability and liability. I completely understand the need for a fee when Uncle Irv and the neighborhood posse shows up and goes caddyshack in the pool. However when someone stops in to pick up, then goes off site that shouldn't require a fee. Our friends are long time RVers and inquired about camping here in the future. Considering the $80 per night fee, a pair of complmentary guest passes would be a great idea. I do give the management credit for refunding the fee though. We didn't use the restroom however our friends took a look and said they were immaculate! We camped at Quechee / Pine Valley KOA in a Motorhome.

Another excellent KOA on our East Coast Road Trip 2017, we left Bar Harbor and went to N.H. then here on our way to Niagara Falls, this park provided a great place to stop and spend a few days, lots to do all around, we just took off for day trips to explore the area and had nothing but fun the whole time, just disappointed that we did not see any Moose! We are beginning to think they are a myth ! Ha-Ha! We camped at Quechee / Pine Valley KOA in a Motorhome.

One of the nicest KOAs we have stayed at. The kamper staff could not have been more welcoming. We were escorted to our shady site and he didn't leave until we had our jacks down and were plugged into electricity. They had a prepared list of things to do in the area, near and far. Because of their list we found out about the Windsor-Cornish Covered bridge...the longest covered bridge in the country. There are plenty of things to do at the RV park including hayrides and evening movies. There was limited cable TV but the channels were clear. The WiFi was not good at our site. The garbage and recycling is picked up at your site. Laundry was small for the size of the park, 4 washers/dryers. $2.50 for wash and $2.00 to dry for 45 minutes. We camped at Quechee / Pine Valley KOA in a Motorhome.

As KOA's go, this one was really good. At KOA you can expect to pay more and as long as you get a level site, easy and strong hookups, wifi, then it's great. In this case my site was spacious, the park is well kept, trash is picked up at your site daily, they lead you to your site, the pool is well kept, and amazingly an incredibly well stocked RV parts section in the camp store. It was no Camping World, but for the store of a campground; well done! My only complaint is the dump stations. We only stayed 2 nights so a sewer connection wasn't necessary. There are two dump stations in the park. One you will only get to with a small vehicle and even then you block the bathhouse and a couple campsites. The other dump station is at the top of the hill and even then you have to circle through the upper area to get back down. Would be nice to have dump station parallel to the entry/exit driveway. The wifi was available pretty well throughout the park but for anything more than facebook you had to be sitting at the store or the pool. The park is very easy access off of the interstate. We camped at Quechee / Pine Valley KOA in a Travel Trailer.
