There are no restrooms or showers. This park is located behind a small store called Sam's. There is nothing there except approximately 7 spaces to park and connect to water, electric and sewer. This is a very noisy park as it is right on a busy road and trains went through the area. I would consider this park just a step up from dry camping. - traveling

This was the scariest stop I have ever parked. I spent two nights here, and spent the whole time worried about how I was going to get my 40' MH out of there without damage. I did not succeed. The interior roads are in horrible shape. The trees are overgrown. As I slowly climbed the hill to the upper section, all I could think about was how I was going to get out. The site was reasonably large, but it was entirely gravel and dirt. I took my motorcycle out for a ride into Danville, but I was so afraid of dropping my bike on that hill that I did not go out again while I was there. When I left, I took my time trying to avoid the trees and rocks, but I got a bad scrape on the side. A guy who works there was following my slow and painful journey in his truck. When I got to the exit, I let him pass. As he did, he said that the office folks never should have put me in the upper lot. A very expensive stop that I will never forget. - NKA

Stayed there 5-28-2017 on lot no. 8. Lot was up a steep hill. Trash all over the lot. Fire pit full of ashes and trash. Mudhole on the side where the door is located. Water pressure was low. The 30 amp service. kept tripping the breaker all night and I had to walk to the power panel 3 lots up the hill to turn back on because no one was in the office at night. They had two lots on a double pole breaker that was heating up and tripping lot 8&9. The whole place is run down. This was the WORST I have ever stayed in in all my travels around this country. LOOK OUT IF YOU GO THERE. There was no tv reception, no cable, the satellite will not pick up due. to trees. Internet code would not work also. - Johnny gunnell

This was a transitional stop for us, just two nights. On the plus side, we had a long pull thru site with full hookups, 50 amp electric, although the site was narrow. There is free WiFi which worked well for us. As a plus/minus, the bathrooms are clean but the toilets are heavily stained with cracked and peeling toilet seats. On the minus side, the driveways are very dusty gravel and site pads are dirt. Good campgrounds will make sure that the site is clean once it is vacant so that it will be clean for the next occupant. This site had bits of trash and a portion of a grilled piece of chicken when we arrived. There were several working people here which makes for a diesel truck parade around 5:30am. I respect the working people but it's an early wake up. We paid $35 per night with Good Sam discount. - Coopsecondact

Nice park, our site was fairly unlevel. Area was clean. Had some permanent folks but that was not a problem. The only thing was the laundry room needed some cleaning and the dryers took forever!! We were only here for a stop over but would recommend. - Team Leighton
Apr 2010 - $23.00
The owners/operators of this campground are first-rate, friendly, helpful and honest. I'd give the campground a 10 except there is no cable TV and some sites are unlevel. The owners have made great improvements since our last visit a year ago, including upgrading the Wi-Fi and carrying more supplies in the campstore. The owners also went out of their way to make our club's visit a great one. I did not use the laundry or bath facilities, but I expect they were in clean based on the office condition. - smdrm

Arrived late in the day after picking up our new 5th Wheel from a local dealer who recommended the site as being a good place to stay overnight to get used to the vehicle and check out everything was OK. The owners were not there but we were looked after well by two members of staff who helped us park up in a fairly tight site for our 40 ft 5th wheel. We had booked for the previous night but were a day late collecting the vehicle, they very kindly did not charge us for the missed night which we felt was very decent. The park looked to have plenty on offer with good bike and walking trails and well stocked lakes. - Hilary & Tony
