We stayed for 3 days. This is a bunch of campsites located inside the Belle Mount Winery. Entrance to the winery is a winding, one-lane road that barely fit our 40' MH. There were a lot of potholes and low tree branches. Check-in is in the tasting room of the winery. I called ahead for reservations the day before but we were instructed to call when we got there so someone could check us in. There is only one 50 amp site and it doesn't have water. The rest are 30 amp sites with full hookups. We had to hook up our fresh water hose to the next site. No one else was there so it wasn't a problem but you need a really long hose. If you need 50 amps with full hookups, it's best of call ahead and reserve that one spot. The sites are gravel and completely under pine trees. It was very difficult to level. Our back tires were almost off the ground. No wifi, no cable, no leash free dog park but there's a lot of woods to walk the dogs. There's a large pool and bath house but they were closed. There's also a lake for fishing. Owners are very nice and helpful but their main business is the winery, not the campground. The owner told us he wasn't going to make any more improvements to the campground because it wasn't his primary business. He also indicated that he's thinking about selling it. It is not really a "resort", it's a bunch of loosely marked parking spaces for campers inside a winery. The price is a little high but other campgrounds in the area were closed for the season so your choices are limited. If I had to be in the area again, this is fine for a short stay. We camped at Heritage Park Resort in a Motorhome.

Sites are very poor shape and crowded. Roads leave a lot to be desired. The only nice thing about the Park was the employees were friendly and helpful. We camped at Heritage Park Resort in a Motorhome.

We were very disappointed in this campground. It was not maintained at all. The staff was very rude to us. We found the campground doing an internet search and my husband called to make reservations. While making the reservations he asked about the canoe rentals which it shows on the website. They said yes that they had them. When we arrived he asked how we could rent a canoe and was told they had them but they were inoperable. There is no campstore. Trash was piled up during our entire stay. Not once did anyone come to pick it up. The showers were clean but their is no where to change or set your clothes and towels. There was no playground and the basketball hoop they had was in a grass field with very tall grass. We had no picnic table but did find one over by the bathouse and we carried it over to our site. It was in very poor shape. The pool was the only nice thing. It had 2 diving boards but only 1 worked. The kiddie pool was not filled. The horseflies were terrible. There were lifeguards on duty. This is not a place we would ever stay again after being treated rudely by the staff and the poor conditions of the campground. We camped at Heritage Park Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Very nice campground, lots of shade and very close to everything that is happening in Williamsburg. Not very much for the kids to do at the campground yet. We went on the 4th and there is a new owner. He is very nice and has alot of ideas about entertainment at the campground. When we want to camp near Williamsburg, this is whrere we will camp. The staff is very helpful and the price is right. We camped at Heritage Park Resort in a Travel Trailer.
