Lovely park, grass, trees, well kept. Not so great on the 4th however. Don't expect it quiet here with all the loud generators. Nobody seems to have heard of Yamaha or Honda. Come during the week, it's much more pleasant. This park needs a host. I had problems with quiet hours and there's really nobody to respond. - 2oldman
Sep 2013 - $8.00
Price I paid was half off with a senior access pass. Beautiful little campground, and excellent for its type. Dry camping, but with a dump station and threaded water hookups at the base of the drinking fountains between the campsites. Verizon phone and hotspot worked on the road above camp, but only intermittently in my space near the lake. Plan to stop here on my way home. - Littlebigrv

What a lovely find. If it hadn't been for RV Park Reviews we would never have found this place. Large well spaced sites in an immaculately landscaped setting on a charming little lake. Our government does such a good job of providing these gems for us. Paved roads and sites with water access throughout the park and a well laid out dump station. Boating, fishing and swimming. Verizon cell service is poor, but with an antenna and amp we were able to get on the net. Phone service with Verizon or ATT is iffy. - rhianna

Easy access off US395, closeness does give some road noise, but not highly traveled at night. Park is clean and well maintained. Good big rig access with pull throughs long enough to stay connected if you wish. Paved streets, gravel sites. Small trees afford good access for satellite dish. I found cable TV to be a bit snowy, but that could be the connection at the post. Overall, a good stop for the night. Would stay again. - Mike51
Jul 2019 - $38.00
We came only planning on spending 2 nights and ended up spending 10 nights. It was very hot and no shade trees, but great 50 amp service, and cable TV, which during the heat was a bonus. The showers all individual and private. Great laundry facility in center of park. We loved the small farming community. Host and other residents were the best. - Dick Cornett
May 2019 - $41.00
Clean, easy in and out. Close to highway, but due to the location and a berm there was minimal road noise. The free WiFi was terrible. High Speed Wifi is $2 a night and worked pretty well. - Impkitti

Another great visit to this little island park. We kayaked out and spent the night on beach Lovely although a passing barge woke us up in the wee hours, swamping the beach with it's wake. - clecogirl

This is another park where site location is key to the quality of your stay. There are many long-term residents in the perimeter sites, and being close to them means significant noise each morning as then leave for work. The interior sites, both pull thru and back in, are fairly level gravel and very narrow, with a grass strip, table, and small tree. The park is located about four miles from the interstate and there isn't much in the area; a large shopping center is about 10 miles away. The WiFi was slow and generally unusable; however Verizon cell/data was strong. A few OTA stations and little obstruction to TV satellites. The office staff was particularly noteworthy, both helpful and friendly. - Meanderman
Jul 2019 - $55.00
We stayed 5 nights over 2 different times within a few days of each stay while traveling through the area. The park is a little bit of a drive from I- 82 along I-182 to WA-240 (Exit 5) on the Northwest side of the tri-cities area. The interior roads are paved. The interior roads and turns are sufficient to maneuver larger RV's but there is some congestion from the vehicles parked along the road. The sites are a mixture of back-ins and P/T's. The 20 P/T sites have generally flat, level, gravel parking pads. They seem to be for short stays. The BIs seem to be for long term stays from the appearance of the items on those sites. The park was pretty close to full. The P/T sites were long enough to stay connected to a toad. The P/T sites were encumbered by trees which had to be cut by the escort to prevent the limbs from scraping the side of our coach as we pulled in. The majority of the parking pads face East-West so no shade created by RV's on the patio side. They have full hook ups - water, electricity (50/30/20 AMP), & sewer. The utility connections were towards the rear of the sites. The sewer connection fitting was at about ground level so establishing a downhill flow is dependent on the discharge point. Distance and grassy areas establish privacy between the sites. All sites have an outside table but no fire pits. The trees in the P/T sites could interfere with satellite reception depending upon dish configuration & RV placement on the site. The park has a pretty well established tree canopy so satellite reception could be hit or miss. Park information showed 79 cable channels but made no mention about OTA broadcast channels. Didn't try to get any broadcast channels. The park provided password protected WiFi was difficult to establish & maintain connection. Had to use our Verizon WiFi hotspot. Didn't use the NET10 phone so don't know about the reception. There was one designated fenced pet area with a grassy surface. They provide a welcome package that contained valuable information about services (medical, veterinarians, churches) and recreation in the area. - bsb814
Apr 2019 - $42.00
We stayed here for 4 nights in our 27' Travel Trailer. Site was a gravel pull through with grass on both sides and paved roadways. Site was pretty level and did not require additional levelers. Cable TV requires a box checked out from the office with a bunch of channels. Pool was closed for the season but hot tub was open which we didn't have a chance to try. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. Staff was very helpful with guiding us to our site and recommending an RV Mobile repair service. Be aware that the sprinklers come on at night and any lawn chairs, etc might get wet. We would stay here again. There are quite a few long-term residents, but we didn't find this to be an issue. - DadOf3

Park is clean and safe with speed bumps to keep drivers from driving too fast. I needed two tanks of propane filled, left them at the filling station and went back to my rig. Half hour later when I went outside, there they were filled and delivered to my doorstep and added to my bill in the office. They have a great pool and hot tub but they were closed for the season.
All lawns were cut and looked great. They have water electric sewer cable and HIGH speed internet at every site.
Our stay was extended so we got the monthly rate plus electricity. We were buying a home and needed internet and theirs is the BEST. - Kuntry Kuzin
May 2015 - $25.00
Stayed 11 weeks while working at at Columbia NGS. Different layout with RV/Trailers parallel to streets, giving private fenced grassy yard. Well kept, yards trimmed and mowed every week, nice shade tree in each space. Street orientation allows for good satellite reception. Quiet, lots of working class people, several full timers. Manager is a heavy internet use savvy and all sites have hard-wired high speed internet. Bring your wireless router. Stream movies to your TV. Had to buy a connecting Cat 5 cable long enough to go from the RV to the Utility box ($10.00 from manager). Nice clubhouse with a big pool (summer only). Small BBQ/grassed park area. Not in a pedestrian friendly area, No easy foot access to a corner store. No sidewalks along the busy road, which is the only reason I rated it a 9. Local bus access is about a 10 minute walk from the park along busy road with no sidewalks. A little daytime noise from a nearby rail spur, almost no traffic noise. Extremely nice manager and family. Only been there for a couple of years and working very hard to have a 1st class park. Would definitely stop there anytime in the area. - starsekr
Sep 2014 - $12.00
Rate reflects monthly rate, we stayed here in our 39ft fifth wheel. This is a true big rig friendly park, plenty of room to navigate and the private fenced yards are the best idea I've ever seen in an RV park! Host was great and even set us in, helped us hook up and the electric Rv mover they use is really cool! The internet is hard wired so each site has it's own connection, bring a router and you can stream movies right to your trailer! We stayed for a little over 2 months and will be back in the spring, we highly recommend Moon River, it is the best park that we have stayed in! - fusion34

I'm very conflicted about this KOA. While it is clean, well run and checks off all the amenities, when I camp, I'm looking for a camping experience, and that is NOT what this is, by any stretch of the imagination. This park is overwhelmingly set up for and patronized by full-time residents. Out of 185 sites, only 42, at the most, are occupied by "campers." (Sites 1-42) The rest are full-time residents. Yet, the main route in and out of the majority of the sites is right between the "camping" nightly spots. The 5 MPH speed is NOT observed. The camping spaces are gravel with very narrow grass strips between, barely enough for a park bench between units. Even pulling into our site was a challenge, especially with the cars parked at the very edge of pavement opposite in the full-time section. There are trees, but not mature, in the camping section, on one side only. Dog areas are a joke; I won't curb my dog in a tiny patch of hot gravel, thank you. Sewer hookups managed to fail to seal with either threaded or rubber donut connection. There is a smell of sewage permeating, especially when it is hot, which is always in the summer. If you have business in the Tri-Cities, as we did, then this is a decent enough choice. If you're looking for a camping experience, hard pass. - AllOver

Very clean park. Concrete runs for wheels with gravel between. Nice grass apron. Only downside is the freeway noise. One would have to get use to that. As the road was just all night. - Trekking

Visiting family, had towed problems, had to extend stay til Sept. Very gracious about extending us. Sites were clean, sites a little tight but not like Pidgeon Forge tight. Staff very accommodating. Close to amenities & Columbia River. - Wheretheboldensroam

Maybe 4 spaces are not full time. More like a mobile home park. Motorhome Gps got the turn wrong and made it very difficult! Staff in the office was super nice and does everything from office to landscaping. Convenient to Manhattan Project National Park. Would only stay with reservations or you are in the parking lot. - dd2some
May 2018 - $36.00
Stayed here a couple of years ago when passing thru. This time we are in space #2. Last time space #1. That site cost us $2,600! Reason being, you have to back in and we got under one of their trees and when we raised our dish, it hit a branch and screwed up the motor. Be careful if you stay here. Park is clean and has been noted, most are long term people. They said they keep 7 sites for passing thru people. Gentleman on phone taking res. was very nice. Will stay here again when passing thru. - Bluebird Bob
Jun 2017 - $40.00
We have stayed here once before when passing thru this area. It's still the same--i.e. well kept up,grass mowed, etc. Good water pressure and no problem electric for our 50 amp service. Be prepared to back in to your spot and the person behind you will also have to back in. They now have a lot of long termers, but that seems to be the way of the future. Will stay here again when passing thru. - Bluebird Bob

This was not our first stay at this park but it is probably our last. The dog poo in the park is beyond belief. We had to clean up 3 piles just to connect our RV to sewer, water, and electricity. One morning we came out and some dog had used our site next to our stairs as his toilet. We then had to step around poo to disconnect when we left. This park is under new management but the current manager is letting some dumpy dirty RV's in which the prior manager would not have. There are people coming off the street sleeping behind the restrooms. Sorry to say this park is going down hill fast unless the new management steps up and cleans it up. - Greg & Lois
Sep 2018 - $35.00
We booked this site based on the high reviews. The entrance is so tight that if two guests arrive at the same time the second one will be parked in a very busy traffic lane; there is no room to pull off the road so I had to block the exit lane completely to prevent blocking the street. Once inside the sites are horribly tight. There is no pretense of any outdoor space for your enjoyment at your site. While I had no problem navigating our 40' coach into and out of the space, we filled the pad completely. Vehicles (toad) are parked next to the coach so that when opening our door we almost stepped onto the hood of our Jeep. We walked the dogs to small dog parks at both ends of the park, and both were so horribly soiled with feces that our dogs refused to use the space. We clean up after our pets so ended up taking them to the other sparse grass areas in the park to do their business. - lymanlouis
Sep 2017 - $34.00
A small park with great services available. The only drawback for me was accommodating may 60' length (40' Class A towing an 18' car hauler trailer). The longest pull thru sites are 50'. Park manager stated they had room for me when I made the reservation but there was no way I would fit once I attempted parking. Park manager had me bridge between two sites side by side so that I was completely out of the interior roadway. A little unusual but I was able to reach the service pole and the site was pretty good level! Bathrooms, pool, small store and laundry on site but didn't use them for this overnight stay. Many long term stays but there are plenty of sites for short term campers. I probably would not stay here again since I now know their pull thru sites are not long enough but I did appreciate park manager's accommodating my overnight stay. Still only charged me for one site and not two! Free WiFi and cable TV. - kihei7

Driving North on 395 out of Pasco, WA, tired and ready to quit for the day. Spied the sign for a truck stop that included an RV wash AND an RV Park. Took the off ramp, followed the sign. The other reviewers are correct in that it's not kept up BUT was easy in/out, nice lady and her grandson who own the place and got me off the road. Fueling in the morning will be easy with a couple choices. Only hooked up to electric so I could use the A/C and will use from the on board water tank. Not a vacation spot, OK for over night. - Ella18
Aug 2017 - $35.00
This place is an absolute DUMP! It parallels the freeway and a semi place. You hear semi's all night using their jake-brake to exit the off ramp which you are right next to. The lady wants $35 cash and then tells you NO SHOWERS. Be prepared for TONS OF FLIES because we could smell sewer. I'd rather sleep in the Walmart parking lot. - Mersadeez
Jul 2012 - $35.00
We were desperately tired and this was close to the freeway we needed for the next morning. Park seemed neat enough in the pull through section; not so much in the monthly section. Lots of tree shade in monthly section, but not so much in pull through area. It was HOT. elderly lady in office was nice enough. Cash only. $35 was with a discount. Good for overnight, but nothing longer. - ChrisnMarv
