We found this campground excellent. As others have said, it is privately tucked into the Seattle Suburbs. Restrooms were clean and private. The staff was outstanding. Their office closes at 4:30 but the lady at the desk waited until 4:40 for us because we were hitting some traffic. The trails around the park were great. The ferns and evergreens on the trails give you an appreciation of West Washington's lush beauty. Although the sites were "city close", there were hedges between most sites providing some privacy. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Motorhome.

A surprisingly nice and quiet campground tucked into a hollow in surrounding hills in this Seattle suburb, with fairly easy access from I-405 (make sure you use exit 26 though.) As others have noted, campground is densely populated, but the use of tall arborvitaes between sites gives a sense of separation from your neighbors. There are good number of apparent long-term guests. The surrounding hills helped to create the small lake the campground is arranged around, and you will listen to ducks and bullfrogs at night, and hardly any traffic noise. Unfortunately, there are also geese and their poop aplenty too. Paved roads and sites, but many not level, especially those right at lake edge- be prepared to use blocks. Backing into some sites with a medium to large fifth wheel can be a real challenge due to narrow road widths, and parked vehicles or barricades across from your site, a drawback. Another drawback is lack of any security or entry control, and day after we arrived, park staff came around warning people with bikes that there had been some recent thefts of high-end bicycles, with cables cut, etc. Have to give them credit for the warning though. Nice bathrooms and showers and laundry, although latter has limited capacity relative to them number of sites. Basic cable TV was very snowy and poor, but you can pay for upgraded service. OTA TV reception was great. Verizon coverage very good. Did not use the park WiFi. Park has a small storage lot that they charge $10/day to put your RV in, with some electrical service, if your plans include flying or taking a ferry to spend some days away. Overall, would stay again if in Seattle area. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We can usually tell how our campground experience is going to be when we check in, and here the office staff exemplifies the name of the campground. Check in was very pleasant and we were made to feel welcomed upon arrival. We had a pull through site in the back which was sufficient for our 43' motorhome and car. The width of the sites seemed to be a little narrow but we had plenty of room with our slides out and with a little room to spare. Although somewhat close to your neighbor, the sites are nicely bordered with tall shrubs that give you a little privacy from your neighbor. The sites are asphalt as are all of the interior roads which are easy to navigate. There seems to be a large number of long-term occupants here but it is clear that the park management does a great job of maintaining high standards. Park WIFI was good, Verizon and Spring signals were strong. This is a high-density park, but with the way it is landscaped it is extremely nice and was always very quiet, and if in the area we would definitely return here again. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Motorhome.

We had a cruise booked during the time we would be RVing in the Pacific Northwest. We happened to meet another RVer in Idaho that had just come back from a cruise and I asked where they parked their RV. They told us about Lake Pleasant and we are so thankful! I thought we would have to pay for a campsite somewhere. Instead, Lake Pleasant has cruise storage for just $10 a day and they let you plug in to 20A power to keep your fridge running on power. We booked about 45 days out and added a camping night on each end of the storage figuring we could add more dates when we got closer to Seattle. You have been warned: All of the RV parks in Seattle are full of people that live there. Giant 5th wheels with tiny cars and Lake Pleasant has a lot of this. But they at least have plenty of tourist spaces, too. And another warning: Lake Pleasant fills up. By the time we called to add more dates to our stay, they were completely booked on both ends. The campground is quiet. The bathrooms are clean. The Wifi works. The staff is very nice. The laundry room is clean and affordable. Now that we know better, we will stay here again and make our reservation WAY in advance! We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

If you have a dog, make the drive to Warren G. Magnuson Park. Their off leash area is the best in the US with long and wide fenced walking paths and another fenced in swimming area. And go during weekday lunch hour when the NOAA gate is unlocked and go sit in the beautiful sound garden!

We had to change our date of stay and staff was very nice and helpful and were able to make the change. The pull thrus are very nice, with tall hedges between the sites with grass as well ...so it feels very private. Bathrooms are very nice..everything is clean. Very full park but with a nice pond with ducks etc. We will be back and stay longer. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Super quiet despite being in a busy area - we didn't hear road noise at all! The park has easy access to major highways and a Safeway across the street. The ponds were lovely and stocked with fish. The park is well maintained and clean. The staff and owner are wonderful - they worked super hard to get us a site for our stay. There were only a few negatives. Entry into the back in sites along the pond/park perimeter were super tight. There is a thick wire cable connected with concrete support posts that is across from these sites which makes maneuvering very difficult. We had a 38' 5th wheel and took a good 20 tries of repositioning just to get the trailer backed in - and even then we couldn't get squarely on the pad (and we are not novices). Trees bordering the front of the site did not help. The pull through sites looked much easier. Wifi did not work the entire time we were there, it simply would not connect. Also, although the ponds were a huge draw for us, the mess the birds make isn't limited to the pond area. There was duck/geese poop all over our site on a daily basis, which the kids routinely tracked into the RV no matter how much they tried to avoid it. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground is not far from Seattle, and offers onsite storage for RVers who are taking a cruise to Alaska. We left our RV in the storage area for 16 days at $10 per day which including plugging in the refrigerator. The place is beautifully maintained. All roads and sites are asphalt paved. Some pull-through sites. We had a back in. Sites are not that wide, but have bushes growing between them for privacy. It is on a peat bog, so no fires or charcoal grills. Very nice laundry at only $1 per wash or dry. Wi-fi was not very good. Overall, this was a nice place, but not many amenities for the price. Everything in Seattle was expensive, so probably one of the better places to stay. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

I have stayed at this campground for a few months at a time for several years. This is a nice park and for large RVs, this is the only game in town. They have cruise parking for $10/day. There is a nice playground and for big kids, too. They recently put in new playground equipment and rubber mats. There is a Yurt that I have seen being used for potlucks. Wifi was installed just this summer and there have been some glitches. We were grateful to have it even sometimes. Most sites have satellite view but this very hilly and tree filled country so you may or may not get it. This is a wildlife preserve so there are many geese and ducks on the water and in your yard and they leave calling cards. Don't feed them. The staff is quite responsive but there is a limit to what they can do (can't get rid of goose poo). I read some unhappy reviews about the noise from contractors. They repave the sites once every 10 years and they start at 7am. The park is on a retired peat bog so keeping the sites and roads in good shape is essential. Traffic is one way. Don't go the other way!! This park is extremely busy so it's nearly impossible to find another site for you for any reason. Some of the sites are very hard to back into, even for experienced Rvers. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great park, the paved sites are situated around two ponds with ducks and birds and willow trees. Lovely setting to sit in the grassy area behind each site to watch the birds and ducks. (The honking geese are a bit of an issue). The staff is very helpful and friendly, helpful with packages arriving. The park is very clean even though there are many permanent RV residents. The extra bonus to this park...if you are going on an Alaskan cruise while here, they have a storage area in the park to store your RV/tow vehicles with 120 volt (for your refrigerator to remain on) for a nominal fee. Great location... easy hwy access to Seattle, just far enough out of town to enjoy quiet. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is an older RV park that has done a really good job keeping updated and user friendly for big rigs. We had a site on the lake, and was plenty long and wide enough for our motor home and tow. Full hook ups, with 50 amp electric. Easy access to Seattle, so nice when visiting the area. If in the area again, I would stay again. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Motorhome.

I would have given this park a higher rating because it's quite lovely. But when I made reservations I asked for a quiet location because we like to sleep in on vacation. The first day we awoke to sounds of heavy equipment, backup beepers and yelling contractors who were grating, repaving, and cutting trees just feet from our RV. When it happened again the next day, we went to the office to complain and were told they would "just" be working near our site for half our 9-day stay. But we leave tomorrow and they are still waking us up - sometimes before 7 a.m. Would never have stayed had they been honest us - especially at these prices. So heads up...they say the work will continue for months. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Handy place to stay for our doctor trips. Very clean park and very nice staff. We were unable to use our special stairs due to a new ruling. They did not go onto the grass and stayed on the blacktop. This is a very pet friendly park with many walking trails, with some of the trails are a steep climb. It is very quiet in the park during the off season. The office staff is absolutely wonderful and helpful. We were able to get amazon delivered to the office with no issue. The “lake” is a large pond and it is nice to walk around it. There are ducks and geese that walk around the park but they haven’t been aggressive even while walking our Boston Terrier dog. There is a small library and small store. We have been able to get a lot of TV channels on the antenna. The WiFi has been to slow due to network management as you might expect. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Motorhome.

Within walking distance is a 24 hour Safeway with pharmacy that is very nice. There is also a gas station in that shopping area where we fuel up our class A motor coach. Several nice restaurants are in that same shopping area, A great pizza place, a seafood restaurant, a Korean pho restaurant and and Indian cuisine restaurant are there but you could also get cooked meals in the Safeway. This park is close to Woodinville which has dozens of wineries and tasting rooms.

A really nice, if crowded RV park in the Seattle area. Easy access to the highway to get downtown in less than 30 minutes. A quiet park with excellent facilities. However, when we checked in it was for a four night stay. Later I asked to extend the stay for three more days, and was told we had to move to another site for the extra days. On the day I had to move it was pouring rain, cold and anything but ideal for having to unhook, move and rehook the trailer to the hookups. I asked repeatedly if there was any way I could just stay where I was and was told rather brusquely that no, I had to move because another RV was promised my site. When I noted that their own literature says that while reservations will be honored, specific sites cannot be reserved, I was told that despite this I had to move that morning. So I moved, getting soaked and muddy in the process. Only 60 hours later, almost at the end of my extended stay, did an RV get put into my original site. If not for this unpleasant situation I would have give this campground a higher rating. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
