The park has a very nice setting which the name suggests. Peaceful in the pines. Not abnormal to see wildlife walking nearby. Wildlife trails nearby. Shopping and town nearby. We camped at Peaceful Pines RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is an older park. First built in the 1970s, the owners are starting to upgrade. The interior road is a circle with back in spots radiating into the center. There were a few small pull throughs. They only had one spot that would fit our 43 foot fifth wheel and it took some maneuvering to get into the spot. Utilities were good, water pressure was good (40lbs), electric is at the back and water and sewer in the center. WiFi was strong and reasonably fast. We were able to get satellite TV and local Spokane TV stations OTA. There is a major rail line running behind the park and the trains are LOUD. But you do get used to them. Owner and staff were friendly. There is not a fenced in pet area and strict rules on cleaning up after your pet (not a bad idea but delivery could be nicer). There was only 3 or 4 long term residents, rest are transients sites. Give the other options in Spokane area, this is a good pick. We camped at Peaceful Pines RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

I had a back in spot and was able to keep my truck connected to my 25' trailer. Staff was friendly and helpful. I am a light sleeper and worried about the proximity to the trains, but once I fell asleep I did not wake up until morning. These folks were nice enough to alert me to the trains prior to booking. Another RV park down the road did not, so points for running their business with integrity. Yes, I would return when back in this area. We camped at Peaceful Pines RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Well 'peaceful' it ain't. There's a major rail line about 200 yards one way and a busy high less distance than that the other way. Built in the 1970s this park hasn't had much if anything done to it since then. But newer owners are working hard to remedy that situation. Problem is, they have a long way to go. A tiny park with short back-in sites radiating from the lone circular interior road, it was built back when RVs weren't the size they are today. Definitely not for big rigs. Even 30-footers could be a problem. Customer service is great, but the physical limitations and the current overall appearance of the park means we won't return. But the owners are starting the upgrade progress, so check back next time you're in the area. It could and will be, a great little park. We camped at Peaceful Pines RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice little park that we used as a one-night layover. It's old, but well kept. The hostess that met us was very friendly & helpful, and it appears to be a well run facility. There are lots of trees, and the sites are clean and mostly level. The railroad tracks are nearby and busy, but our sleep was not bothered by it. We camped at Peaceful Pines RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very small park run by a husband and wife who are remodeling and re-tooling this little gem along the highway to ID. There is not much in Cheney, and the park is near the railroad tracks, and gotten a lot of negative reviews for that. We were between the small county highway and the tracks, and it was pretty quiet after about 2100. Would we stay there for three nights? Probably not, but the hard work we saw being done by the couple who own this place tell us that down the road a piece, this will be a little gem. Shopping in Cheney for food and drugs needs. We camped at Peaceful Pines RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

At the outset we have to say this is one of the nicest parks we've ever stayed at. It's in a beautiful setting in a nice little town. The management is beyond superb and worked some crazy magic to find accommodation for us during a peak time and for a much longer period than we first booked for. So appreciated! All facilities and utilities were wonderful and the wifi excellent. Now for the unusual event that took place... this park is next to some wilderness areas and one evening a wildfire blew up very close and very quickly. We were evacuated on short notice. The staff sprang into action immediately and orchestrated a park-wide evacuation that was calm and organized. They followed up several times by phone and in person and even drove around the town of Cheney to find us all and direct everyone to a central location (the rodeo grounds had opened to accommodate displaced RVs. Everyone in the town rallied to assist including Safeway management). We can't adequately express our thanks to the staff. They are first class people and outstanding managers. Our entire stay was wonderful and we look forward to returning again at some point. We camped at Peaceful Pines RV Park in a Motorhome.

Earlier this year, I left a review of this park that was critical of the service and our placement within the park. About a month later, we were called back to Cheney as our daughter was seriously ill and we needed to stay there for an unknown amount of time. I called the owners of Peaceful Pines and explained the situation to them. They could not have been more accommodating to us. They worked with us to get us the best nightly rate and we only had to move locations once, even though we were there almost a month. This experience was much better than the last. We would now recommend this park to anyone wanting to stay in Cheney, or to be near Spokane. We camped at Peaceful Pines RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

To be fair, I was made aware that there were RR tracks about 200 yds behind the camp. However, trains pass virtually every 30-60 minutes, all day and night. Peaceful Pines it is not!! The park, minus the trains, is a bit over priced. We only stayed for one night and will not return. We camped at Peaceful Pines RV Park in a Motorhome.

Peaceful Pines is a nice park located about 20 minutes from Spokane. The park is nice and the people were friendly. They have a nice laundry and community room. The park is near a railroad track and although there were trains they didn't bother us. We camped at Peaceful Pines RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

An overnight stop on our was to Seattle. Check-in was easy and efficient. The staff reviewed the rules and directed me to my site which was a pull thru. All utilities worked perfectly. There are train tracks, clearly advertised in their web page and reviewed at check-in. The trains do come by frequently in the early morning and late evening. They do not blow their whistle near the park and the train sounds did not bother us. I would definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped at Peaceful Pines RV Park in a Motorhome.

A nice small family run park. Lots of green grass that is watered. Most sites are back in. Lots of trees but we got the satellite to work. Wifi mostly worked. Verizon was good. This park is a way off I90 but was convenient for our purposes. When making reservations they tell you they are close to the railroad but it is about 1/2 mile away and they do not blow their horns. It was not at all bothersome to us. We would stay here again. We camped at Peaceful Pines RV Park in a Motorhome.

When we checked in, the office is a small shack and when you go, there is a sign saying to ring the button on the counter. After ringing the bell, it only took a couple of minutes for someone to respond. So, after getting checked in and paying, we were able to get backed in and hooked up. We found the site was wide enough, that even with slides extended, we could park our Jeep on either side of the coach. We were under the trees, so the satellite TV didn't work, but OTA worked fine. AT&T cell phones and hot spots worked well. The park's wi-fi was decent, but did slow down a couple of times. The roads and sites are gravel. and we had a picnic table. We camped at Peaceful Pines RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stay here annually, as our daughter and her family live in Cheney. I booked a particular site (one of the few pull-through's) back in January of this year for an August arrival. Instead, we were assigned another spot because "of the number of days we were staying". So, basically we were being penalized for staying for a longer period of time. In addition, although they allow pets, this is not a pet friendly RV Park. They are not allowed on any lawns (there are signs all over telling you to keep your dog off the grass) and in order to get to the weeds they've assigned for the pets, you either have to cut through other people's sites, or go all the way around the park to get there. There is a lot of grass, so they could easily make a small dog park that is more convenient. There is a new RV Park opening next year at Northern Quest Casino in Airway Heights, and we will likely stay there instead, even though it's much farther away from our kids. We camped at Peaceful Pines RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a small, but very nice park. When we called to make a reservation, the manager warned us that they were close to railroad tracks, but we were not bothered by the noise. There were quite a few trains, but they would blow their horns far from the park and the white noise from our fan blocked most of the sound out. We slept well and actually decided to extend our stay. The restrooms and showers were very clean and usually empty. The laundry room was beautiful and very comfortable with big, thickly padded sofas and a nice TV set. The manager was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely return to this park. It was great value for the money. We camped at Peaceful Pines RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
