Good park if you want to unplug and get away from it all for a few days (NO sewer). Showers, restrooms and laundry facilities were always clean. Very quiet park, sites were level however utilities (strangely) are barely off the street. Fortunately traveling with an motor home I just drove in and ran water and power under the RV (no sewer in park). Cell service is hard to find. We opted for a 30 amp site that was one of the few with cell reception instead of a 50 amp site. - Team Health and Wealth

Woof. Terrible stay and one of the worst Thousand Trails I've visited. There were some red flag reviews online but we figured it was worth a stay to visit the Spokane/No. Idaho region. I would have gladly paid to stay elsewhere. Park staff seems to avoid doing anything the right way. Bathrooms looked to be from the 80s and unchanged. Pool was small and useless if there were more than 10 people there. They definitely spared every expense. Sites are fine and quiet but so many little annoyances and poorly thought out decisions make it a do not stay in my book. Consider staying someplace else - we paid nothing as we're Thousand Trails and I'd still say it wasn't worth it. Won't be back! - RVBert1977

We stayed in the Thousand Trails part of this campground, and the rate ($0) reflects that we are family Courtesy Card holders. There are very few 50A hookups and no sewer sites in this campground. It is not clear which sites are 50A and which are 30A until you go to each site - it appears that only a very few of the first sites you come to along the meadow are 50A sites. A lot of the sites have the utilities on the "wrong" side - ok in a motorhome because you can pull into the site, but difficult for trailers or 5th wheels. There is definitely a lot of variance from site-to-site in terms of both length and width of site. - pattic777

Wonderful Park! We go here at least three times a year. You can ride ATV's right out of the campground and access hundreds of miles of mountain trails or launch your boat and enjoy miles of the river. Just be cautious of spots 3-12...they are in a field and if you have neighbors it will be very tight (about 2 1/2') between rigs! But again, I recommend the park, a nice place to stay! - W. Bates

Grassy area with hook ups. Beautiful spot on the slough. Water availabile. - Candy pop

Dispersed sites in a fairgrounds located along Highway 20 on the west side of the highway. Cusick does not have much to offer but fairgrounds are located on the south edge of the community. There is a fairgrounds employee on site and entrance is at the North gate right along the highway. Very basic, inexpensive camping, with scattered water hydrants, and no RV dump on site. Some electric pedestals have 30/50 amp, and some 20 amp. only. Price is right and room for big rigs, but walking around to choose a site first would be a good idea, after entering the Fairgrounds. There are some nice shaded sites also. - run2

The park is an ownership park and site rentals are by contacting an owner. The park is very nice with asphalt interior roads and level gravel sites. The park is next to the Pend Oreille River near the community of Usk, WA. Be careful with the directions to the park as your GPS will have you turn on Snow Berry Ln which is NOT correct. There is a large sign directing you where to turn. The park is rather remote and about 50 miles from Spokane, WA and Coeur d'Alene, ID. There are several sites for sale by owners. - James T

We got a free week stay for visiting the Resort with the idea of purchasing a lot. As we had some trouble making up are mind they just let us stay until we decided. We bought a nice lot and are looking forward to spending most of the summer and fall here in the future. Everything about this place is nice. What it isn't is "OUTDO" resort. The people here are just great and the expansion plans are moving right along. - joe4golf

Skookum Rendezvous is a "Planned Community" with lots for sale. Lovely setting with mountain and river views. The clubhouse is gorgeous, as is the indoor heated pool with sauna. Lots of places to walk but the Pend Orielle River is not swimmable at this time due to some sort of algae at their beach site. Sites are big enough for the largest rigs and in time there will be hundreds of sites, all with their own personal landscaping touches. Fun planned activities, there will be a golf course in time. We were invited to stay a week for free to visit the Park with the hope of selling us a lot. No sales pitch, nice managers and owners. We will return. - Daisy&Max

Beaver Lodge is a rustic mountain resort with rustic cabins (with and without bathrooms), RV and tenting sites, an excellent small restaurant and small store/gas station. It is located on Lake Gillete about 25 miles (35 minutes) east of Colville on Hwy 20. Ownership changed last year and they are making great effort to have everything clean and make improvements. Staff was friendly although not very knowledgeable about the area and sometimes even the resort, e.g. the lady on desk didn't know that they served breakfast on the weekend, even though the outside lighted sign said so. Boats are available for rent and nice docks - great to sit, read and enjoy the lake. There are a few sites suitable for big rigs like our 37' 5th wheel. However, bring extra electric cables as the electric connection is at the front of your rig instead of in the middle or at the end - poor design by the last owner. - BandD

Lovely little park. Stayed two nights and the first day I had the campground all to myself. Sites very well-spaced, several with lake views & access. Was unable to get a Verizon signal there. Will definitely return--hopefully when the air isn't filled with smoke as it has been in this area this month. - mockturtle

Absolutely beautiful. We have camped here several times and return each year to the tranquil and peaceful alpine lake. It is the first campground heading west on the 20 from the tiny town of Ione. Bigger rigs may not fit, but our 30 foot trailer and long truck are fine. We have seen many large RVs. This pristine lake offers outstanding views of wildlife and serenity. A small boat ramp for non motor boats offers excellent fishing. Most of the 8 sites are level, lots of trees, fire pits, and a table. Pit toilets and food storage bins available for renters. Camp host drives through daily. During the week we are often the only campers so if you like privacy and wilderness on a paved road you will love this amazing Lake Leo. - Celeste T
