Really great area the views are incredible,we were right on the water, nice pool, well worth the drive down the steep hill. - john55
Jul 2019 - $1.00
First time here and one of the best Thousand Trails parks we have been to. Friendly helpful staff always working to keep the park clean. Good power and water pressure. Only downside as stated by others is the "laundry closet" was unbelievably small. - Team Health and Wealth
Aug 2018 - $1.00
This is a really nice Thousand Trails campground with large sites that had grass on them and full utilities. Some sites, like ours, have a view of the Columbia River. Swimming pool and hot tub are clean and inviting. Actually, this park is well taken care of by the employees. They were always out trimming bushes, cleaning sites, etc. Buildings are newer and not run down at all. There is a great walking trail along the Columbia that leads to a really nice park. AT&T cell phone, Verizon MiFi and Dish Satellite all worked well in this campground. The only negative I could see was the laundry room. There were 4 washers and 4 dryers, but the room was so small, it was hard to open the doors on 2 of the washers. Also, because of the small size, there was no folding table. - Bobbi1948

We've stayed at this park many times over the years. But it has been a couple of years since our last stay and it appears that the park is being neglected. It's very run down. Lots of dumpy long-term RVs as you enter. Lots of junks lying around the office and maintenance areas. The old trees have been cut down leaving bare stumps. The only sites that have sewer connections are being used by the long-termers. They charge $2 extra for cable TV. The sites are muddy and the grass is worn. The wifi, however, it strong. Probably won't stay here again. Too bad. It used to be so nice. - Bruce of Port Ludlow
May 2018 - $35.00
What a great little park (and we aren't even golfers!). Our Dodge had mechanical issues on the way to Canada, and we stopped for a stay to get repairs made. Oasis was close to the shop, town and lots of great hiking trails. Owners were friendly, people were great and facilities worked great (washers and dryers were new and worked great too!). Only downside was the road and railroad noise but otherwise we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. - LiveWorkDream
Jul 2017 - $25.00
We love this park. Folks are friendly. Cute little golf course. Looks like the park is fairly old but the new owners are working hard to renovate. Little pond for fishing. Basketball. Mini-golf. Pool. - Paul and Jeannette

Oct 2018 - $55.00
We had a family birthday celebration/reunion. Two couples in RVs and 4 couples in cabins. The person who makes the reservations is a crook! He quoted us $55 a night for the cabins (which was on their website) then charged us double. He tried to say we had 4 per cabin which was a lie. He wasn’t even on site so he just made it up. He’s HORRIBLE to work with. The cabins have NO plumbing and the beds are hard and squeak. The on-site manager was lovely and apologetic but there wasn’t a lot she could do to make the situation better. My family could have rented rooms at the Best Western up the road and had better accommodations! The RV spaces are roomy but water pressure sucks. If you’re at the end of the camp, you’ll get to enjoy the occasional whiff of cow manure. Avoid this campground and the terrible person who runs it. - Twocats62
Oct 2018 - $35.00
We were meeting family here for a birthday party so we needed 2 RV sites and 4 cabins. When we booked the 2 RV sites more than a month ago, he charged us for both sites in full. Who does that? I could see the first night as a deposit but not all three nights for both sites. The park itself is old and run down, the pictures online make it look a lot better! Pool was closed and looked very very small. Laundry room was adequate with 2 each washers and dryers, $1.50. Exercise room was also adequate but could have been cleaner! They offered us the club house but when we checked it out the overwhelming smell of cat piss made us pass on that!! Driving range is old and run down, have to ask for the bucket of balls. We didn't get our sites next to each other as promised either. The family who booked the cabins we're quoted $55/night as it is posted on the website but were charged almost double that. Weird thing is that each cabin was charged differently, one charged extra for a dog and one not in this "dog friendly park"!! When I tried to talk to the owner (?), he wouldn't help us at all, claimed he didn't quote that cabin price but tried to tell me that the website prices were out if date and would NOT honor them!! Kept saying that he wasn't going to have this conversation with me but went on to say that prices were fair because of the demand...ha! This is mid-October and the park is nowhere close to being full, less than half!! Clearly this guy doesn't know how to run a business and I would avoid this park like the plague!! Best thing was the on-site manager, she and her husband were very nice and helpful!! - 2VetsRVing

Absolute pleasure!! Stayed in a 40' MH 2014 needing 50 amp while selling home. Very well maintained property with all bells and whistle. Staff was professional. The only nice place in the are during the busy season that was able to accommodate us. Will be back to visit on vacation next year. - westhill425

Sep 2019 - $39.00
Very clean, well staffed, and run campground! Two hot tubs, (one salt water), pool, sauna, nice large treed sites! This is one to look at if you are in the area! The only downside thing I will say is they did not honor the Good Sam Discount program. I was told they did not during the peak season. If not for that, this place would have gotten a "10" from us! - Lawjohnson
Jun 2015 - $24.00
Nicely maintained park right on the edge of Soap Lake. Appears park is fairly old but is undergoing renovations. Roads are paved with sites being gravel or dirt. Fairly dusty in the non renovated spaces as they are dirt. Turns are tight and roadways can be a little narrower. Many trees throughout the park but they are nicely trimmed to not impact rigs except for placement near turns. Our site was level but the park does slope towards the back so for motorhomes there is going to be significant front to back leveling. Decent spacing between site. Long lake front beach and a nice pool. None of the sites are on the lake so the "lake view" is from a distance. At full price I think it is over priced, but they do take Passport America and Good Sam, which makes it a much better value. Wi-Fi is free and worked good during our stay. Even with the trees we were able to use our roof mounted satellite dish. Not many campers during our stay so it was quiet and relaxing. - mcharland
Apr 2015 - $25.00
I really like this park and I can easily say it is my most favorite park Washington. New owner, so it's currently undergoing major construction with lots of aggressive remodeling of the park. The original sites were mostly pull-throughs and a bit challenging entering & exiting, but they are ever ready to offer you help of any kind, and the new sites are being made more big rig friendly.
This spot in Washington is truly beautiful and unique, I want to come back unhook and really explore the area more. We were even allowed to use a 'football' size lawn for chuck ball for the big dogs, as currently there is no "dog run". I did walk in (and carefully backed out) of the public washroom and showers - duly note they are on the list to update and remodel. Really good Wi-Fi (but there were very few of us there at the time, maybe 12-20 others). We walked the beach and all around the park; we thoroughly enjoy the area. Lots of different parts to park with different things to do - this place must rock the locals' summer. I for one am excited to return and experience the changes this fall. Kudos to a new owner that is truly improving by polishing up such a gem in Washington. - livin4RV

Jul 2019 - $75.00
We wanted to stay in central Washington to explore the Great Flood, the geology of the past and the coulees so this RV park had decent reviews. Here's a few highlight and observations: There are LOTS, and I do mean lots of children so it's very difficult to drive around plus you can never lay in the pool and relax. It's dominated by children. They just don't pay attention, even when we're just walking around...scooters, bikes, hovercraft, etc. They have two hot tubs, one for just adults, which is great...as long as you can squeeze yourself in. Also, something we've never come across before is that there is a large contingent of Russian-speaking people. Apparently, they come for the mud and healing mineral waters in Soap Lake. Everywhere we walked, we heard another language. The RV park's WIFI is only so-so, off and on and slow. Verizon is iffy also. Only one-lane for check-in so if you just want to drive back in, you could be stuck behind a check-in person, however, the check-in person was terrific and helpful (I was told there's new ownership). They used to have way too many people per site. I counted up to 15 at one spot! But the new ownership is beginning to eliminate that abuse. We stayed in G row...the best. It faced the trees and were out of the main traffic/people areas, plus there was a lot more room between sites. The other rows were very very close. Our fire pit was on the site itself, right near the back of our coach so no fire was possible. The lake is nice, the mud will come up to your ankles. 40-ft motorhome back-in with plenty of room for our toad. We'd stay here again. - We2AreUs
Jun 2019 - $25.00
Nice small park along the highway. Wide back in sites to the lake. Full hook ups worked. High winds while we were there were unpleasant but I can imagine without the wind, quite a pleasant place to stay. - Go often
Sep 2018 - $25.00
Very easy access off Hwy 17, well signed and visible. Level gravel back in sites right on the water, a few with small shade trees, plenty of room to park the toad in the middle area. Host on site. Auto-Pay station that accepts credit cards located in front of the restrooms. There is a dump station at the front of the parking area leading into the campground that appeared to be free. This campground is nicely kept with a friendly, long-time host. It is easy to walk to and through town from here, as well as "take the waters" in Soap Lake. Signs lead you around town on the "historic door murals" route. There is a Par 3 golf course that was positively run down, but would be a hoot to knock around in if you have your clubs and a bag of old golf balls you won't mind losing in the weeds. Of course, the main attraction is the healing waters of Soap Lake! - Chasing Dirt

Aug 2019 - $70.00
A busy place on the north end of Soap Lake, lots of E European (?) family groups seem to use this place for their annual vacation get together. Great smells from the almost constant cooking activities! Some park improvements have been made since our last visit 4 years ago. They have added a couple of rows of improved (and level) sites, including a row of pull-throughs. You can also pre-select your site on-line, a big plus. The trade off in site selection is between the busy area (pool and recreation area) and the traffic noise at the eastern side of the grounds. We picked the G row, probably the only row with good sky views for satellite access, and the traffic wasn't too bothersome. The roads are OK to navigate with a big rig, requires a little caution and pre-planning, especially when exiting from row G with a motor coach. Wi-fi was hit or miss and cell reception (both AT&T and Verizon) is limited, but improves slightly as you go towards the lake. - NCrog
Sep 2018 - $59.00
Yep, its expensive, no getting around that, especially considering there's a municipal campground about 3 miles to the south in Soap Lake - and on the water. But... this campground truly is a resort - large swimming pool, TWO hot tubs (one for adults only), a few (very expensive) sites with hot tubs; a cafe that provides breakfast, reasonably complete store, and good wifi. Verizon was marginal in the campground. Sites are not overly large, but large enough. Nice waterfront w/ beach and even in 3rd week of Sept. it was warm enough to enter the water. Great spot to take a healthful mud bath as soap lake is a unique alkaline lake loaded with healthful minerals that apparently the natives knew about hundreds of years ago. - alansills
Mar 2018 - $32.00
Wow. Wow. Wow. I am impressed. Soap Lake Resort has been my go to RV park in the Sun Lakes area for 10 years. For years it was a dumpy, older park, maybe a 6 on a 10 scale, but, the best game in town. That change. For the better. The sites are upgraded. The showers and bathrooms just got a modern make-over and are brand new. The hot tub is sensational. A new steam sauna will be up and running in 2 weeks. They added a jungle gym play area for the kids. I liked this place when it was a sleepy little fishing camp. That's over. This place is nice. - whizbang

Apr 2016 - $30.00
Nice grassy site overlooking Moses Lake. Power and water at front of site (standard cable and hose just made the distance).
Campsites are very close together with no much separating the sites. If someone gets there first, or puts their rig at an angle, you might not have sufficient space to put your rig. - DCM/JMB
Aug 2015 - $33.00
Rate above includes a $15.00 reservation charge. Otherwise, it would be $25.00 per night. Beautiful spot (#45) overlooking the lake. Electric hookup incoming into site. Water. No sewer but has a dump station. Grass, table, and fire pit. Sites side by side. Not a lot of room. - Jerryws98516
Jul 2012 - $25.00
While no alcohol is allowed as this is a City Park, it's a beautiful location: right on Moses Lake. Lots of docks for fishing. Be forewarned, the electrical hookups are at the front of your site. We learned the hard way and had to scoot up just a bit after initially setting up. In Moses Lake for a 13U baseball tourney at the HS, so just a 15 minute drive from here. - Cosmo97

Jul 2019 - $25.00
There are lots of campsites in this fairgrounds. Signage could be a little better so you know where to go and what to pay. Sites in the north campground are pretty short, but there were only 2 units in there, so it wasn't an issue for us. The campgrounds themselves were very well kept up - lots of grass and no litter anywhere. Can't say the same for the rest of the fairgrounds. This was by far the dirtiest fairgrounds we've stayed in during our travels. At any rate, the campgrounds were very nice and we would stay here again. Dish TV, AT&T cell and Verizon MiFi worked well. - Bobbi1948
Jul 2017 - $20.00
For $20. a night hard to beat. We had a pullthru and it was long enough for truck and RV. WiFi not usable no TV on antenna but very quiet. - Rvwolfe
Jun 2017 - $20.00
Not fancy, but clean and far enough from the freeway it's quiet. They also offer stalls for livestock (additional cost) The bathroom available may vary by which campground and what else (if anything) is going on in the Fairgrounds. For most of the time, there is enough room for group that has reserved, plus drop-ins. Only groups can reserve. DO NOT PLAN ON STOPPING DURING THE FAIR. - wetterwashington
