Just off Highway 16. Right up the road from the beautiful harbor and cute town. A mile to Costco and a 15 minute trip across the Tacoma Narrows toll bridge ($6 round trip) to Tacoma. Entrance is a little tight. Don't park past the "stop here to register line" or you won't be able to make the right turn if your site is in front. Tiered sites, lower and upper level. Mostly back in. Forested, most sites won't get satellite. Analog cable with about 30 channels. Restrooms are nice. Staff super nice. Utilities worked well. Roads paved, sites gravel, small picnic table. Mostly level sites. No grass. Some sites more spacious than others. 13 OTA digital channels. The internet is terrible, on the MiFi the entire time. There was an issue with a water line that served our area and on-site maintenance workers turned off the water without giving any notice of doing it or how long it would be off. No great place to unhook your tow or hook back up. We camped at Gig Harbor RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Nice park with plenty of mature fir trees, paved roads and gravel sites. Located on a hillside many of the sites are wide easy pull-through. Sites are relatively flat and most have plenty of room for an extra vehicle. Grounds are well maintained and roads are plenty wide. We didn't encounter any low branches. Dogs are welcome. There are small grasses areas available, no fenced dog area. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Nearby Gig Harbor is a beautiful community with lots of charming shops and eating establishments. Enjoyed our stay and will return! We camped at Gig Harbor RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Inaugural outing in our new trailer so, we don't have much to compare to. They understood this and made sure we had a pull-through spot to help us out, much appreciated. The campground was clean, quiet, and very close to the amenities of Gig Harbor and the greater Tacoma area. We camped at Gig Harbor RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Not a problem navigating to the park or within. Paved roads and gravel sites. Utilities worked fine. Site pretty level even though sites are carved into the hill. In the woods so don't plan on getting satellite reception. Rate is off-season monthly with my electric added. We camped at Gig Harbor RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Great location close to town and bike/walking trail. There is a trolley that makes a stop by the RV park that you can take into town if you don't want to drive and try to find parking. Parking in Gig Harbor is an issue. Our site was very wide and long, accommodated our 40' 5th wheel and pickup. We will definitely come back. We camped at Gig Harbor RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is in a good location to explore the area with lots of shopping near by. The sites are all gravel and fairly level. We had 4 bars LTE with ATT. The Park WiFi was unreliable and the cable fuzzy. Too many trees for a satellite signal from our spot, though some of the sites that were higher up seemed able to connect. Yes it's an over priced, gravel site, park but really the best in the area. The trolley makes it all worthwhile. For $1 you can ride all day. It makes going downtown and paying $18 for a hamburger possible. Or you can walk to Puerto Vallarta or JP's Hy Lu Hee Hee (yes it's where the locals go) and get Fabulous food. The office staff is friendly, courteous and helpful. We camped at Gig Harbor RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground is situated on a hillside which can make maneuvering into your site a little tricky as well as finding a flat area to hitch and unhitch a towed vehicle. The cable tv was snowy, the sites were not level and the water pressure was only 20 lbs. The sites are very close together. We were fortunate to have site 71 which was on the end of the row so we only had one neighbor and the other side looked out over the hillside to the lower level of the campground. The office staff was super friendly and very helpful with maps and suggestions of activities in the area. Clean modern laundry facility. We camped at Gig Harbor RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We had a pull through spot that was a little difficult to get into just because of the hill and it was close to the turn of the road. The spaces are narrow but long. There are a lot of permanent residences there but also a lot of short term spaces. Make your reservations well in advance as it is a very busy park. Gig Harbor is within walking distance and is a nice town to see. We camped at Gig Harbor RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The park is arranged on a rather steep hillside with lots of mature trees. They have done a good job of grading the sites to be relatively level. We had a large pull through site with gravel surface, very long and wide with some shade. We would have liked to use our satellite but there aren't many sites without tree interference. They do offer cable service that was OK. There is free WiFi but it was not very useful. They have a variety of site sizes, pull-thru and back-in. The bathrooms are clean and in good condition. We used the laundry and it was fine, I think it was $2.00 for a wash. You can walk a short distance along the road, cross to the other side to a very nice 6 mile walk/bike path. The park is very close to a good variety of shopping. I would consider it a little on the pricey side. We paid $46 per night on a weekly rate with Good Sam discount. If you are looking for a "resort", pass this one up. Spaces are way too small. Had to park my tow perpendicular to my rig and my wheels were in the street. Wi-if was horrible. Would turn off and on every 5 minutes. Cable TV was so snowy you couldn't watch it. Very dissapointed. We camped at Gig Harbor RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Sites are very close together. The park is mostly gravel and the roads are not easy to navigate. The office staff is extremely helpful. We discovered on our last day there that there is a trolley stop at the RV resort. I sure wish the office would have told us or advertised it somehow. It was a little expensive for the what they had to offer. We camped at Gig Harbor RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We had a good time here in gig Harbor. Our site was level but all of the sites are on their own individual terrace. The campground goes up a hill and each site is on a terrace. We unhooked east the office and hooked up at the top of the bottom section of the park, 2 of the few level places to unhook. The utilities were easy and we had a picnic table at our site. We would definitely stay here again We camped at Gig Harbor RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The best thing about this park is the location - a few blocks away from a really good Mexican restaurant, just a few blocks more from the bustling Gig Harbor waterfront (with all of its shops, restaurants and marinas), another few miles from the Olympic Peninsula's brand-new and only IMAX theater, and a short romp across the Narrows bridge from the Pt. Defiance zoo / aquarium and ferry to Vashon Island. As to the park itself, it was fine. It is pretty much all built on a hilly patch of land, but our pull-thru site was easy to get in and out of. WiFi was typical (sub-par), cable TV was analog, not digital. AT&T cell service was 2 to 3 bars out of 4. Friendly staff person. We'd return if in the area again. We loved this RV Park for it's peaceful vibe and perfect location. The WiFi is terrible and the cable is useless so that cost them a high rating. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids and spent a week here visiting the area and taking the ferry over to Seattle. We are a family of 4 with kids ages 9 and 11 so even though they didn't have any amenities we appreciated the safe place to stay. We highly recommend this campground!
