I was a little skeptical with the "& Car Wash" tag, but after seeking out reviews of Cedar RV and alternatives, we booked for one night. This is a very nice but small campground. Owner is very helpful and friendly. Facilities are very well maintained. Convenient to boarder crossing. 50 amp full hookups. Verizon worked, but not spectacular. The self-serve car wash has a high-clearance bay, perfect for washing the road grime off of our 40-foot motorcoach. Diesel is available in Ione. We plan to return for four days later this summer. We camped at Cedar RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a great, well run park in the beautiful Pend Orville River valley in NE Washington state. For the price you can't beat it. Wifi gets a little slow in the evenings as expected. The cable TV works great. The bathrooms, showers and laundry was always spotless. The owners are very helpful and have a store with lots of RV parts. The sites are concrete pads or nice green grass. The drives were gravel and quite dusty as it hadn't rained here for a least two months. They have a very nice do it yourself car/rv wash on the premises. We camped at Cedar RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The Pend Oreille River runs thru the town of Ione. Also there's lot's of lakes and hiking trails in the area. A must see is the Boundary Dam, much of which was carved out of a stone mountain (and where Kevin Costner's movie the Postman was filmed). Free tours are offered multiple times a day 5 days a week. Crawford State Park nearby has a great cave tour as well.

The owners are the friendliest people you would want too stay with. The showers, bathrooms and laundry facilities are impeccable at all times. The grounds are clean and well maintained, if you need something they are more than happy too help. We have been staying at the cedars for two years, upon our return we are always treated like family. Golfing, fishing hiking whatever you need are nearby, we highly recommend the cedars. We camped at Cedar RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

My family and I recently stayed two months at Cedar RV park. The grounds are immaculate. The bathrooms/shower facilities are cleaned and stocked daily. The bathrooms are huge, with modern amenities with a touch of country charm. Homemade works of art are hung on the walls and decorate the property as well. The gift/camp store has everything you could possibly need while away from home. The prices are very reasonable, some items even beating out the price of big box stores. The owners are amazing and are the people you wish your parents or grandparents were. He has hearty laugh and twinkle in his eyes, makes you feel like you are with family. She has a warm smile and out going, happy personality makes you feel right a home. This park is not only family friendly, but exciting for adults as well. The owners set up a campfire, complete with tables, and chairs. He graciously helped all the children roast marshmallows and make s'mores. The park is beautiful. The cable tv has over seventy channels. The wifi works well and allows you access to the internet and email flawlessly. Every space is big, with a fire pit/barbecue, and a picnic table. The car wash is an added bonus, which allows you to clean your fifth wheel or motor home before heading h0me. My family and I will make a special trip every year, just to come back here. Yes, it really is that special. We will miss the owners and the beautiful park they have built. We camped at Cedar RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park. Well maintained. The car wash is an added bonus. The owners are helpful and friendly. They keep a well stocked store and live onsite. We had a nice paved pad to park on. Full hook-ups. We were able to use our Dish Satellite. WiFi is up and down, the usual for small RV parks. AT&T coverage was spotty. Verizon was pretty reliable but not a strong signal. We were charged $5.00 a night for an extra vehicle. There are sites with electricity and water but no sewer. Good pump out set-up onsite. We camped at Cedar RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We dry camped here. We could tell right away that the owners/managers cared for the park. They were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The restrooms were large, roomy, well maintained out, and well stocked. The grounds and store were well above average. We camped at Cedar RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We stay here every chance we get! The nicest (by far) RV park in the North Pend Oreille Valley with the same prices as the other parks. Love the owners too.

The owners have a great shop right there in the park. Cheapest ice in the area also! You will pay double the price anywhere else in the area. We camped at Cedar RV Park in a Cabin.

This is a very nice RV park. Coming off the road when you pull in you can feel this. Almost all of the park is beautiful well kept grass. The two bathrooms, I believe recently build, have a touch of being at home, plus being large and very clean. The gift stores is more the gifts. It is worth the time to explore. One sections for the kitchen has almost everything to make your kitchen away from home complete. Very well done. If your motor home needs washing there is a car wash! The owners are very friendly and will help out with your needs. There is a fire pit to sit around at night and talk with friends. Just coming into the off season the owner built us a fire and joined us for a nice relaxing and friendly visit. If you are on the way to Canada this park is a good start for the next morning or just a get away. There is nice park in town and a trail by the river for a nice walk with your dog. We camped at Cedar RV Park in a Motorhome.

We really enjoyed our stay at the park and the owner. He went out of his way to help with any problems and to make us feel welcomed. We each had a dog who really enjoyed the grass and the freedom to run and chase the balls. Our last evening there he built a bonfire and had S'mores for us. We would definitely go back and would recommend it to our friends. Good place for a small group! We camped at Cedar RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park has, by far, the nicest & cleanest facilities I have ever seen - bathrooms & showers, laundry, etc. Also, we loved being able to have a choice between a nice concrete pad with full hook-ups OR a lovely grassy area with W&E with the ability to use the dump if needed. The park has a 2 bay car/RV wash which came in handy for the tow after a dusty ride. Finally, the owner was great - so nice and friendly - really shows pride of ownership. We will DEFINITELY stay here again on our way to or from Canada. We camped at Cedar RV Park in a Motorhome.

I was invited to go to this campsite by a friend. From the moment I rode into this campground, I was amazed how neat everything was. I knew I was going to be happy here. It reminded me the comforts of home. If I am in this area, I would not go anywhere else. It is family owned and the owners are the nicest people. They will bend backwards to make your stay pleasant. I will probably be visiting this campsite very often. We camped at Cedar RV Park in a Tent.

Overall Rating:

This is a small RV park with about 16 or so FHU spaces. Some are on concrete pads and some are on a lawn area. The whole place is scrupulously clean. They have a really nice laundry room with three washers and three dryers. It includes chairs and a table that you can work at while doing your wash and an outside sitting area as well and even has cable TV. There are two restrooms that are just about as nice as what you would find in a motel. They are essentially two nice spacious bathrooms with toilet, nice large shower, sink, vanity, benches, and even hair dryers! All of it is super clean. There is cable tv at the sites but we didn't use it so can't comment. There is wi-fi as well but it didn't work very well for me and Verizon service was weak. Those are the only "dings" I can give this place and the only reason I gave it a 9 instead of 10. There is also a big car wash on the premises where you can give your rig a bath if it needs it. (Ours sure did!). And the owner was super nice and friendly. We were having some electrical problems with our rig and he offered to lend us any tools we needed to work on it. I would absolutely stay here again. We camped at Cedar RV Park in a Truck Camper.

I'm surprised no one has reviewed this park before. Very attractive and immaculately maintained small park on the Pend Oreille River. Spotless laundry facility and an amazing array of RV parts and supplies on hand. Also a gift shop, which I did not visit. There is an RV & car wash, too! Owners very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again. We camped at Cedar RV Park in a Motorhome.
