We had been in four KOA's just prior to this one, and this campground would not even register on a scale compared to these. First the lady checking me in asked the other lady in office why computer was showing an error. The other lady said it's ok the spot is short but he will fit. I booked this campground in February, so this was not a drive up. Then the lady in office directed me into my pullthru spot in the wrong direction. Had to back down the aisle of campers to get turned around. The roads are very narrow and to get down another row to my spot I had to stop and get out and ask two people to move their truck because they put people in spots that left no room for vehicles. All vehicles were parked between camper up against picnic tables. When the people that were parked next to us arrived, they could not get out of the passenger door because they had to back between campers to park their truck. Place was more like an rv storage with hookups than a campground. We camped at Seattle / Tacoma KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

As other reviews have noted, this is a tight park for big rigs. We were able to take our 43 foot fiver through the narrow roads and barely into our assigned site. Lots of pot holes in the roads. There is a tight 180 degree turn at the entrance to get to the office but there is a stoplight. Water pressure was excellent. Electric, water, and sewer connections were located in the center making it easy to connect. We were able to get good Satellite TV and local OTA. Sites are very close together. They pack people in this place with tents on the lawn. Staff was nice but had a hard time completing our check in due to the computer system. Parking your tow vehicle is a problem with limited space at the site and too few parking spaces by the office. Vehicles are parked everywhere including in the grass and part way into the too narrow roads. WiFi was slow but adequate for email. All that said, this is the closest RV park to downtown Seattle. Easy access to SEATAC (15 minutes). The neighborhood seems safe and is mostly industrial. Lots of road noise. They do show kids movies each night on the lawn in the summer. Kids seemed to be enjoying the pool and playground. We camped at Seattle / Tacoma KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This is the worst KOA we have ever stayed at. The only thing I can say is "this is a dump". By the looks of it this is a very old KOA. The entrance is somewhat narrow. The sites are extremely tight, and junk RVs decorate the front entrance where you are suppose to register. This IS NOT a park for big rigs. We have a 44' class A and could barely make it through the streets and into our spot. We could not put our awnings out as the site we were assigned was to narrow. Thank goodness I only wasted one day here. Bottom line, we will not come back to this park. On the positive side, the manager who checked us in was very nice and friendly. We camped at Seattle / Tacoma KOA in a Motorhome.

This IS NOT a park for large rigs. We have a 42' class A and could barely make through the streets and into our spot. Very narrow, very cramped. Front desk staff was wonderfully sweet and welcoming but park is not for us or anyone with a big rig. It would also use some TLC. We camped at Seattle / Tacoma KOA in a Motorhome.

This is a park to stay at only out of necessity because Seattle doesn't offer many RV options. The office staff rate between rude and indifferent. They will not answer the phones, they will not help with reservations, the computer system messes up reservations and they do not know how to give a simple apology to a customer. This is the best part of the park. Rigs and customers are packed in like sardines. Quite literally I was tripping over the neighbor's sewer hose to get to my car. The employees used our picnic table to repair a sewer hose from another site!! Tents are packed onto the lawn, big RV's are lined up in the registration line over night, many MANY cars are parked through out the travel lanes so that pulling out a big RV in the early morning is nearly impossible. There are so many permanent trailers here that this place feels like a 'housing project'. It works when you need to plug in for a night en route to your destination. Someone should really get the attention of KOA corporate and get them to understand how bad this place is. Dogs should not be harassing customers at check in. Do not ask staff about things to do in the area, instead, do your own googling - you will get much better results. We camped at Seattle / Tacoma KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This campsite is old and not suited to today's campers. It can't handle larger units yet allows and we are sitting about 25' from our neighbors on both sides and about 200' from major road housing Amazon Prime warehouse so loud truck traffic all night long. Trees and stumps have been removed but hole remains making for dangerous conditions just to walk around. There is no room for a toad to park yet we all try. I had an accident when moving to my site as there was not enough room to maneuver around other units at propane fill area. Signs indicating direction of exit are exact opposite of arrows painted on roadway. Only one employee on duty on Sunday of holiday weekend and she was very frazzled when I requested a different site as the whole electrical panel fell out of the box when I attempted hookup. The sewer connections are mostly broken and unable to have tight connection so area smells of sewer. Park was full and denied my request. I attempted to find another park as I was told they would refund but none available. This place gets away with very poor conditions and should be closed until reworked to make it safe. The shown rate includes being charge 1.75/night for my small dog. Unbelievable. There are not many sites in Seattle Tacoma area and this one is still 20 minutes from downtown and major sites and that is via I-5. We camped at Seattle / Tacoma KOA in a Motorhome.

This KOA has nothing going for it except the location. OK, it has a heated pool the kids love and a good size dog park, and the people were friendly and helpful. But the RVs are packed in like fresh Cooper River salmon filets packed in ice (found at Pike Place Market). You look right on your neighbor's back side and sewer and electric hookup. A great many RV units are much too big for this older CG, adding to the crowded feel. Overall the CG has a very sad or somber feel to it as it is a combination of upscale up to $350K or more travelers' units with the run-down and inexpensive units of a residential trailer park. There's absolutely nothing wrong with working class folks living inexpensively and earning their daily living, but the juxtaposition next to the affluence of luxurious Class A and huge fifth wheel units is jarring and sad. The CG is right across the street from Amazon's giant fulfillment center and there is constant truck traffic night and day. The suburban sounding 212th St. is actually a local highway with heavy and fast traffic nearly 24/7. It's only quiet between about 2-4 a.m. Some sites are located directly along the highway while others are 1-4 rows back from that. Also the KOA is only about 7 mi. from SEATAC and the roaring jets taking off and landing is also pretty much 24/7. (Write-ups on the nearby Saltwater State Park say it is directly on the takeoff and landing path.) That said, it's about a 20 min. freeway run to the downtown waterfront area. There is also a bus and train connection you can take. We camped at Seattle / Tacoma KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you want doggie day care in the area, make an advance reservation. We had good luck with Hillrose Pet Resort but they only let your dog out once unless you pay for additional "play" times. They don't run the pack together. Recommended Soos Creek and Paws N Pals were booked over the holiday weekend. Many people board their dogs in this area when headed out of town at SeaTac.

Location, location, location. Adjacent to conservation area, with biking and walking trail. On a bus line and near the airport. In and out fairly easy and safe thanks to a traffic light at entrance. Well kept grounds around pool and office. And the staff was friendly and helpful. But it's surprising KOA puts their name on this sad older and rundown park, operated by owners Recreational Adventures Co. which does not seem to say much on its website except it owns and operates 12 KOAs around the country. The park roads are narrow and tight with large potholes. Sites are very close so that you are 6-8 feet from adjacent neighbor. And most sites are not long enough or adequate for big rigs. Water pressure at our site very labile and often very low. Laundry room had had a fire and was mostly inoperable during our stay. Once open we went to do one load, there were no folding tables, or carts and it was very dirty. To add to the sad ambience there are many old and shamefully kept RVs that appear to have been there for years. The owners could improve this park by simply removing all the old RVs, repaving the roads, cleaning and adding folding tables to the laundry room and figuring out the fluctuations in water pressure. Having said all that we would stay here again because of location and helpful staff. We camped at Seattle / Tacoma KOA in a Motorhome.

This was the worst KOA we have stayed at in our 4 years of RVing across North America. The roads were in terrible condition with big pot holes and bubbled tarmac. We were put in spot 96 which could barely fit our 32 ft Class A and we had to park our towed jeep two roads over. Only found the sewer the next day when we stepped on it under the grass. The landscaping was non existent and our neighbors only a few feet away. Very suspect long term residents, one walking around with an ankle bracelet. It's location is what is appealing but not worth it. We camped at Seattle / Tacoma KOA in a Motorhome.

We agree with the previous review. Very tight park. Shouldn't allow 40 foot plus RVs in. We had a HUGE tree at site 3 to contend with before being able to extricate our 40 ft fifth wheel from the site. After our gracious neighbor moved his jeep we were able to back far enough to get a better angle around the tree. Very very noisy park with an Amazon Fullfillment Center (upwards of 300 trucks a day in and out in a 24 hr period. Staff is doing the best they can but management needs to help them out. I wrote to KOA corporate about this park. In 9 years of fulltiming this is only the second time I've filed a complaint because a park was this tough to manuever. Wayyyy too expensive for what you get. Will scout out other parks in the future. Pliers on the. water turn on. Just spend the two bucks for a new handle and get it working right. Laundry okay. This park needs a facelift and some training on how not to cram big rigs in small spaces. We camped at Seattle / Tacoma KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This is an old park that is long past its prime. It is expensive for what you get and they pack RVs in like sardines. Short spaces with little room to the side. Our 40' motorhome had to be moved from our original assigned spot, because it was too long to fit on the site. The new site was just long enough so that the front and rear just touched the narrow roads that run through the campgrounds. No room to park our toad on the site. Wifi is terrible with only intermittent periods of grinding slowly. There is no reason for the internet to be so poor. Plenty of money coming in to fix it. No complaints about water, power and sewer. The laundry room has ample washers/dryers but were older and some were broken. The staff recognizes what they have and try to deal with their situation. I would look for another park rather than stay here again. We camped at Seattle / Tacoma KOA in a Motorhome.

This is the worst RV park we have stayed at. We barely fit into our "deluxe" pull through. Site was dirty, very tight and had to move the picnic table out of the neighbors site to get our slide out. We booked for two nights but left after the first night as it was too awful to stay another night. I'm surprised KOA allows their name on this campground. Do yourself a favor and find another place to stay. We camped at Seattle / Tacoma KOA in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here for 4 days. In that time, we never saw anyone clean the restrooms. They were filthy. When I mentioned the condition of the restrooms to the staff in the office, I was given a dirty look, then ignored. They did call maintenance. All they did was fill the toilet paper which had been empty the whole day. The sites are VERY small. This has got to be the filthiest, dumpy campground I have ever seen. We will never stay here again and will not recommend anyone else to stay here. We camped at Seattle / Tacoma KOA in a Motorhome.

First thing - don't follow MapQuest. Take Exit 152. Coming from the north, turn right onto Orilla Road. Coming south turn left to Orilla Road. Follow Orilla. It becomes 212th Street and KOA will be on your right. Very easy drive. Go back the same way.

This is an older KOA that is in need of some TLC. It is across the street from an Amazon Fullfilment Center, but there is no problem getting in or out because there is a signal at the entrance to the park. Some of the sites are very tight. We are in the back row. However, some of the back-in sites are quite nice. We were very comfortable, and it was very quiet there. SeaTac Airport is across the freeway, but no noise. Could lay in bed at night and watch the planes land. Some trees and a large meadow out behind us. No cable and air was iffy. The office staff was very friendly and helpful, and the store looked nice. Pool looked nice with stuff for the kids. We would definitely stay here again. It is not a "resort," but very comfortable. Our truck didn't fit in the site, so it was parked parallel to the front of the RV. We camped at Seattle / Tacoma KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This park was really tight and crammed in with lots of tenants. The WiFi actually worked better than expected. There were a significant amount of bugs in July, but that's likely everywhere. The roads are really tight. The office has a really nasty pet smell from the animals that are kept inside, and the office staff wasn't particularly nice. It's pretty far from Seattle, but there aren't really much better options that aren't already booked months in advance. Only 30 amp spots were available, as the 50 amp spots were booked long before. AT&T cell reception was good. We camped at Seattle / Tacoma KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
