May 2019 - $50.00
This was a nice park, but it is a Thousand Trails park. This means that the facilities will be older, and the sites are not reserved meaning when you get there you have to drive around trying to find an open spot. It was close to Memorial day, but we lucked out in finding a pretty nice spot. It is a serious challenge getting satellite as the park is heavily forested, which makes it very beautiful - much like camping in the forest. We had lots of opportunities to walk around and it was beautiful. The site is 30A and water only. There are a lot of long term campers hauling there portable tanks to the dump station, and I saw a couple of very disgusting displays of poor sanitation of people emptying those tanks. A word of warning about power quality: our power protection kicked out several times due to over and under voltage. I would say it is mandatory to have power protection to protect your electronics and unit systems. It was a nice stay, but a challenge due to the power and sewer issues. - AZ_Travelers
Nov 2018 - $61.00
Really...$61 for this campground? really? I camped here one night to visit some friends and my go-to campground closes Nov 1. I had no other choice. Gravel roads, gravel sites, unkempt site, not particularly level, leaves everywhere. Crappy fire pit stick back in the trees. Not a bad campground for $35, but $61 with tax is absurd. - the5reeds
Sep 2018 - $51.00
Peaceful with gorgeous tall trees. Each site was pretty private. Site a little unlevel, nice picnic table and fire pit although because of fire danger, unable to use. Pool and spa closed as late in the season. The park help extremely nice. Wish we could have stayed longer. A bit of a drive to get there, but close to Snoqualmie Falls. We had satellite reception. This is a thousand trails park, and we are not members, but were welcomed. - Crbus

We found this campground excellent. As others have said, it is privately tucked into the Seattle Suburbs. Restrooms were clean and private. The staff was outstanding. Their office closes at 4:30 but the lady at the desk waited until 4:40 for us because we were hitting some traffic. The trails around the park were great. The ferns and evergreens on the trails give you an appreciation of West Washington's lush beauty. Although the sites were "city close", there were hedges between most sites providing some privacy. - mojomoho
Aug 2019 - $49.00
A surprisingly nice and quiet campground tucked into a hollow in surrounding hills in this Seattle suburb, with fairly easy access from I-405 (make sure you use exit 26 though.) As others have noted, campground is densely populated, but the use of tall arborvitaes between sites gives a sense of separation from your neighbors. There are good number of apparent long-term guests. The surrounding hills helped to create the small lake the campground is arranged around, and you will listen to ducks and bullfrogs at night, and hardly any traffic noise. Unfortunately, there are also geese and their poop aplenty too. Paved roads and sites, but many not level, especially those right at lake edge- be prepared to use blocks. Backing into some sites with a medium to large fifth wheel can be a real challenge due to narrow road widths, and parked vehicles or barricades across from your site, a drawback. Another drawback is lack of any security or entry control, and day after we arrived, park staff came around warning people with bikes that there had been some recent thefts of high-end bicycles, with cables cut, etc. Have to give them credit for the warning though. Nice bathrooms and showers and laundry, although latter has limited capacity relative to them number of sites. Basic cable TV was very snowy and poor, but you can pay for upgraded service. OTA TV reception was great. Verizon coverage very good. Did not use the park WiFi. Park has a small storage lot that they charge $10/day to put your RV in, with some electrical service, if your plans include flying or taking a ferry to spend some days away. Overall, would stay again if in Seattle area. - We Roamed and Rambled
Aug 2019 - $44.00
We can usually tell how our campground experience is going to be when we check in, and here the office staff exemplifies the name of the campground. Check in was very pleasant and we were made to feel welcomed upon arrival. We had a pull through site in the back which was sufficient for our 43' motorhome and car. The width of the sites seemed to be a little narrow but we had plenty of room with our slides out and with a little room to spare. Although somewhat close to your neighbor, the sites are nicely bordered with tall shrubs that give you a little privacy from your neighbor. The sites are asphalt as are all of the interior roads which are easy to navigate. There seems to be a large number of long-term occupants here but it is clear that the park management does a great job of maintaining high standards. Park WIFI was good, Verizon and Spring signals were strong. This is a high-density park, but with the way it is landscaped it is extremely nice and was always very quiet, and if in the area we would definitely return here again. - GrandpaDan

The sites in this park are very close together but if you can get by that the park is convenient to public transportation into Seattle, the managers are very nice and helpful. The park tenants were very friendly and the laundry facilities, clubhouse, and restrooms were clean. Good value camping. - hbcamper
Aug 2012 - $12.00
Rate is based on monthly rental (plus electric). Very tight park, but great facilities - good electric, free wifi at the site, small lodge with book exchange. Very friendly staff. Walk to stores. Bus service on street in front of park. Park is behind (new) Mercedes dealership, so is somewhat hard to find. Watch for small trailer type sign along road. We would/will definitely stay here again if we need to be in the Lynnwood area. - earlymun
Oct 2009 - $32.00
Access to the campground is through the parking lot of another business, easy to miss the signs and the driveway entrance. Interior roads are paved, but sites are gravel. The sites are extremely tight; I had to crawl under my neighbor's slide to connect my power and water. My site was not level and too short, the manager had to put warning cones in the roadway. No room for my tow rig, so I had to shuffle it around among open spots in neighboring sites. We were parked under the brightest floodlight ever made - I had to tape a black garbage bag over my vent dome to sleep. Most of the residents are permanent, with only about six for transients. I stayed here because of the location near the hospital and ferry, but never again. - Doug Atterbury

Sep 2018 - $35.00
We stayed here for a long weekend and managed to arrive early. The desk staff was very helpful and got us in early and was very accommodating. With some planning, they allowed us to leave our trailer in a back in space while we were in town prior to our departure. That gave us an extra day to visit family.
The roads a a little tight but manageable if you scout your path. The road noise was not noticeable except when sitting outside, which we didn’t do much, or when an emergency vehicle went by. We will be back. - Pfmarine1
Jul 2018 - $57.00
Efficiently managed. Very tightly packed in. Rather challenging to maneuver a big rig. Felt safe. Very close to the interstate, considerable road noise. This is just a place to park, go sightsee, and be on your way. - Lizzie Bliss
Jun 2018 - $63.00
We spent five nights at this campground while visiting my daughter who lived near downtown Seattle. You can't beat the location. Some freeway noise. There is a market within walking distance. Yes, it is parking lot camping but we were gone all day and only came back at night to get some rest. Front office staff was very helpful. - pb24

Sep 2016 - $35.00
Campground is close to interstate but quiet. Nice scenery on lake with mountain views. Had W/E only and the sites are extremely narrow but very long. Close with a slide out but managed OK. Firepits available. Nice choice for proximity to city. - CCMcLeod
Jun 2016 - $40.00
This is our 3rd time staying. The owners and people are so on top of cleanliness, trash, lawn maintenance. It's truly wonderful if you like lake life. We see eagles and herons flying above us, sun reflecting on Lake Sammamish, our kids playing in the swimming area with slide. . Definitely worth coming again and again.
We were happy with our space. We have preferred the spot on the end (23?). Companies have their parrots at park, but it was fun people watching as well as people launching their boat from the ramp in front of us. One guy fell in water as he was guiding the driver down the ramp. Hahahahah
Definitely book in advance- January for the spots in June - August. Recommend the end spot in the end (23?) - Lagomamasita
Sep 2015 - $35.00
This is a fairly clean park. During the day there's some traffic and aircraft noise; at night it's quiet.
20 amp plus water sites are long, non-level grass and dirt with no shade. Utilities are at the back, and half are on the wrong side. Full hookup sites are shorter, non-level gravel and grass, with utilities in the usual locations. Each site has a picnic table.
Roads are asphalt in fair condition with some potholes and many annoying speed bumps.
There's one private shower per gender, $0.25 for 5 minutes. The men's shower is inadequately ventilated and usually muddy, with discolored tiles, a torn shower curtain, and cobwebs. I saw one silverfish.
Verizon LTE works well.
WiFi is strong. I measured 571.6 kB/s down.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
There are strong terrestrial broadcast TV signals from CBS and ION.
Laundry: 2 top-loaders ($1.75), 2 dryers ($1.50).
Rate is total with tax for a 20 amp site. - wjzcbn

The 55 foot sites are not 55 feet, it is in a rough area, the staff are just down right rude and mean spirited. T;here is really nothing here but a parking lot and very unlevel bring lots of blocks. - prw2020
Jul 2019 - $99.00
We stayed 5 nights to visit national park system sites in the area. The design of this park was very disappointing as it is connected with a Class A motorhome dealer (American Eagle) just down the street. The park is located in a congested business area off a busy multi-lane state highway being used as a city street making turns into & out of the park hazardous. The interior roads are paved. The interior roads are narrow and encumbered by vehicles. The turns are tight with little to no extra room to maneuver larger RV's. The sites are a mixture of back-ins and P/T's. The P/T sites were not long enough to stay connected to a toad. The site parking pads were concrete, narrow & short. The sites are on top of each other. Sites barely had enough room to open slides. Once the slides were open there wasn't any room to open storage bays. There was vegetation encroachment between the sites being used as screening between the sites. Overflow parking located near the park entrance. The park was built on a hillside. There didn't appear to be much of an effort made to tier the sites level as most if not all have a bi-directional slope/pitch. Pitch could be pretty significant. Saw one Class A with the front tires off the ground so high that there was a step ladder in use to reach the bottom step of the coach's steps. Saw several others with significant blocking under tires trying to get level. They have full hook ups - water, electricity (50/30/20 AMP), & sewer. The utility connections were towards the middle of the sites. The sewer connection fitting was above ground making it difficult to establish a downhill flow depending on the discharge point. Trees scattered around the park could impact satellite reception. The park information showed 15 local channels. Didn't try to get any broadcast channels. Could never connect to the park provided password protected WiFi. - bsb814

The only down side of this C.G is the small sizes of the sites, when slides are opened there is no place to manuver and no way an awning can be opened. Other than that it is the cleanest C.G I visited in a very long time. - summerdude
Aug 2017 - $37.00
This park suffers from being built on a hillside which necessarily means that pad sites are going to be EXTREMELY unlevel. Bring all the leveling blocks you can. Many of the sites have shrubs planted right up to the side of your rig so getting into your basement compartments is tough. I found the park to be clean and the staff friendly. The bulk of the occupants seem to live there full time. Let's face it - there's not a lot of attractive options in the Seattle metroplex. The better locations seemed to be booked up 4-5 months in advance since there appear to be so many people living full time in RVs. - aznumwa339
Jun 2017 - $37.00
The office is open from noon to 6 pm. The park is an old black top lot that is very unleveled. Some units used cinder blocks and several wood blocks to help level their unit. The designated dog walk areas were littered with duck poop as was the pet park. There were many long termers with very poorly kept sites. The park was very dirty. - Michael47

Where to start with my comments. First the website falsely leads you to believe that this is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay near the water. 2 out of the 4 photos are not from the park. Out of the sites they have only 5 or so we're available for over night stays. This is 90% permanent stays, although they are mostly tidy in appearance. This place is WAY overpriced for the type of park and experience. Based on where we have stayed on this trip and what we have paid at other places this is outrageous! The sites are gravel and very close together and we had concerns about getting our 40' bus out of the lot. There are not many options in town and we planned on visiting Seattle so for a base camp was ok. We would not stay here again. The manager was helpful but very concerned with the actual age of our coach and didn't know what a conversion was to understand the look of our setup. Although he later explained that the older motor homes have propane systems that don't meet their insurance standards. He almost turned us away without explaining that when we were making reservations. - KellyLynnHoff

This is an update on some two year old reviews. This is an OK park. A very friendly and helpful manager. Sites are gravel with paved roads, they are 20-25ft wide and 38ft plus deep. There are 10 pull through sites that are 25ft by 75ft. There are long stay units but the only items stored outside was lawn furniture. There were no safety concerns in our 4 night stay. Free WiFi is slow but OK. There is only one unisex toilet/ shower that is disabled set up. All cars/ RVs parked off road. We have a 44ft 5er and maneuvering was tight, but big motor homes would have no trouble. The landscaping could certainly use some attention. - TedandJan
Jun 2012 - $42.00
Rented space for a month. Price quoted does not factor in $20 to read electric box, $25 for two rigs (including the one you pull with). Overflow parking, 5 spaces. Even tho they take all info down your rigs may not fit the space. Might have to drive your 2nd vehicle to park elsewhere. Hwy 99 is six lanes here, getting out is difficult even in a car. Washing machines were dirty with a sign that said "Please wipe down when finished", they obviously don't clean them. One dumpster for 65 sites, full before pick-up day. Gravel, no grass. Friendly manager, but this park has problems. - rainyday

This campground is a bargain. The nightly rate gets you an electric and water hookup, and there is a dump station at the southwest exit. The back-in sites along the south edge have a little shade. There are no trees elsewhere, the sun can be intense, and the driveways are dusty. In mid-July only about 1/5 of the sites were occupied when we where there Monday thru Wednesday. If all the sites were full it would be very crowded and no one would have any privacy. There are many convenient shopping opportunities just to the east (but too far to walk) including two major grocery stores and a super Walmart. - JackSchmotzer

The lot was pretty spacious. I was initially confused about the layout, but all the spots were a kind of semi-circular pull-through to where your RV is facing a very private "yard" and the back of your RV is facing the internal field. The site hosts were on top of it, our site was marked and ready when we arrived, no real check-in or check-out was required. The restrooms were kept very clean, it seemed they were cleaned each day we were there. - joshnichols84
Aug 2018 - $34.00
The sites are all alike in the shape of a half circle. The sites are a little tight for a 40" motorcoach. The utilities are placed correctly and work well. There is a dump station about a quarter of a mile down the road which cost $5.00--not included in the camping fee. Overall a busy place which requires a reservation in advance. We camped here in a 40' motorcoach. - illini777

This is a county park that has spots for RV's and tents. The RV spots are pull throughs with power and water. It is more like a small state park than a county park. Downtown Carnation is a short walk away if you need something. The park is 30-40 minutes away from Seattle and Bellevue, making it a nice quick get away to the country. - Dan C
