The staff was very friendly and helpful. The sites have little privacy or landscaping, but most have views of the beach and the wonderful sunsets which more than makes up for that. The sites are mostly level and all of the hookups worked fine. We especially liked having a garbage can at every site hidden in an enclosure. There was a large grassy area nearby where the dog could run off leash and no one seemed to mind. It was very quiet at night. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Quileute Oceanside Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The only restaurant in town has good food and service at reasonable prices. There is a large window with a view of the ocean. It is about 16 miles to the nearest supermarket although there is a small market at the campground. I recommend bringing adequate supplies for your stay. There are numerous scenic areas within a short drive of La Push.

Nice park near ocean. No cable or tv. Many beaches close. My only complaint was that they allowed fireworks to be used after 11:00 PM Loud fireworks scared my grandson and dog. We camped at Quileute Oceanside Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Wonderful sandy beach (1st beach) with impressive drift wood and lots of offshore rocks. Staff was very friendly/helpful. Large interior roads made maneuvering a 45' motor-home easy. Our site was looking out over the school grounds towards James Island and just steps away from the beach. We camped at Quileute Oceanside Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The entry into the harbor from the Pacific is quite narrow and dangerous during bad weather. Three Coast Guard men died trying to assist a sailboat in 1997. Rialto beach is just on the other side of the river breakwater but you have to drive 10 miles to Mora campground to get there.

Some of the other reviews made us wary of staying here, but we found it to be very nice. If you do your homework and look online at their site map, you can request a certain site when you make your reservation and you shouldn't have a problem with being moved. Our site was beach front with a great view of the sea stacks and sunsets. Our site was wide and long enough, but others weren't so big. There is not much landscaping, but you're at the beach so it didn't matter Even though the rest of the area was on a burn ban, they let us use the fire ring at the site. We even collected driftwood from the beach for our fire. You can buy a permit to have a fire on the beach. The place could have used a little better maintenance (water spigot broken, rusty power poles, security lights out, etc.) Their cable isn't functional, but our Dish satellite worked fine. Wifi is only available at the office, but our Verizon Mifi worked fine. It is very quiet there. There are no larger stores nearby so shop before you get there. We camped at Quileute Oceanside Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Location. Location. Location. We were able to score 4 nites at the last minute for a site that backed up to an ocean view. Bathrooms/showers clean, personnel very friendly and helpful, grounds satisfactory. Verizon works well. Great beach with wonderful sunsets. Site 11 large with fence separating us from 10. We were booked into Quilette Ooceanside with a reservation made well in advance. Without letting us know, they moved us to Lonesome Creek Side which is one big parking lot. Management did not offer to move us back and seemed indifferent. No grass, no area for dogs. Lots of Truck campers and tents. Surfers parked in no parking area, blocking our exit, but management did make them move. Dogs running loose, saw at least 5 potty in the area. Thank goodness we were self contained as restrooms were port-a-potties. The wifi was over in a small dingy room in the other campground. We did have oceanfront, so view was good. No cable, could get satellite. Would only stay again if assured in the campground we booked. We camped at Quileute Oceanside Resort in a Motorhome.

This park is actually combined with the adjoining Lonesome Creek Park. We made a reservation here based on previous reviews but ended up being placed in Lonesome Creek.

No Wifi at sites. AT&T not available. Trees may interfere with satellite tv. Porta potties for washrooms. Good hookups. We camped at Quileute Oceanside Resort in a Motorhome.

It is hard to rate this campground. For an RV "Resort" it's not really RV friendly. There are no signs for entrances or exits, no directional signs to find your way to your space. In fact no sign at all to find the south part of the park. (The office lady just said "go left around the back of the store.") It doesn't have any of the features usually found in a Resort. No pool, no hot tub, no BBQ area, no social area, no lodge, no dog walk area, no cable, Wi-Fi only in a room adjacent to the office.

The location, however, is spectacular. Many sites front the beach, with views of the surf, rocky islets just off shore, and sunsets.

Coming down to the Park, you first see a store with a sign on the front saying "RV." I pulled in there and was told the RV park office was further down the road. On exiting the store I did see a small sign across the road with an arrow pointing to the office. Turning in at the office there was a sign a little further down the hill saying "RV's pull forward." The only thing given at check-in was a receipt; no directions to site, no park map showing the location of showers, trash cans, etc., no listing of amenities, no rules, etc.

The park has two sections. The sites in the north are mainly gravel pull-thrus with some grass and a fence between each. Some have sewer hook-ups on both sides. Fairly new building with toilets and showers. The part south of the store is more basic. All gravel back-ins. Mine was level. Full hook-ups worked well, looked pretty new. There is no separation from the road. One group of ocean front sites has no outlet; if your space is near the end you have to back down the "road" before backing into your site. Many tent sites are sandwiched in back of the ocean front sites. There are a few toilets and showers back at the store and there are some construction site style portable toilets scattered around.

If I had to rate it: Resort=0, Amenities=0, Customer Service=2, Hook-ups=8, View=10. We camped at Quileute Oceanside Resort in a Motorhome.

If you want an area that has spectacular views, great beach hikes, fishing, surfing with full hookups, this place is pretty nice. It doesn't have cable or WiFi however Verizon MiFi works just fine. We were in site #8 and had to use about 4.5" of boards to get level with are air bag leveling system. Outside of that every thing was fine. Showers had great pressure, plenty of hot water, and were clean. Everyone of the staff I interacted with was friendly and helpful. We camped at Quileute Oceanside Resort in a Motorhome.

I agree about this being a basic park, but I found no trash on the beach or elsewhere. There was one very large, but very friendly, dog on the beach who was only intent on finding someone to pet him or throw him a stick. He wagged up to anyone he could find and tried following alongside people for attention, but nothing scary or intimidating. Closeness to ocean and sea stacks made this a memorable campground I would return to. The enormous log on the beach everyone was climbing on was incredible! Excellent Verizon 4G LTE service, but Internet service provided in one room in the campground was really unusable, which was disappointing because I had been told they had Internet access. Apparently even when it is working well, it only has dial-up speed, so don't come here expecting it. Also it is a long drive out here, so make sure you bring everything you need. We camped at Quileute Oceanside Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a basic park, nothing fancy by any means. The reason for coming here is the ability to camp so close to the ocean which is not available at most parks. Some posters have complained about dogs being off leash and that is true, not all dogs are on leash, all the time. But we only had one dog that came onto our site to check us out and that dog was not aggressive, just curious. All the dogs got along really well on the beach. And yes there was a little bit of trash on our site but it wasn't a problem. The only problem we had was the fireworks being used. Since this a Quileute Tribe reservation fireworks are allowed until August sometime, can't remember the exact date. But the sound of the ocean waves, the fog drifting in and out, the sea stacks so close to shore and the dogs having fun on the beach and in the water chasing sticks make up for all of this. All that being said, if you are a fussy, motor home owner this park may not be for you since it definitely does not fit the name 'resort' but few RV parks do! We camped at Quileute Oceanside Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

What a fabulous surprise this place was! Large (very long & spacious) pull-through sites with water-facing views at the front. Two sewer dumps (one on each side) allowing both Class A & 5th wheels to park facing the view. The entire campground is impeccably clean & well-kept. First beach is literally steps from your RV. Full strength Verizon LTE. Overall can't think of a single thing to "ding". Not sure what happened with the folks who rated this place poorly last year, but perhaps it's changed management? We loved this spot and would most definitely stay again!! We camped at Quileute Oceanside Resort in a Motorhome.

Loved this site! Our second time here, we will always come back. It is right next to the ocean and there is no way you can get closer. Super affordable and it is so nice to walk up and down the ocean! Only downside is the restrooms and shower. Our first year here we got card keys to the new restrooms and showers on the other side of the resort. So if u don't mind a walk, it ain't bad. The restrooms you are "assigned" to when staying at the oceanfront sites is really dirty and we didn't use it at all. Overall, we still loved the site though!
