34 RV Parks near Ocean Park, Washington
May 2017 - $35.00
This park is run by a wonderful husband and wife. Their warm country feel gives off a sense that they want and do treat everyone like family. The park may not have some of the features other parks will have such as General stores or swimming pools but their intent in making everyone feel comfortable makes up for more sophisticated features. We stayed their for three nights and enjoyed every moment. - Bank
May 2012 - $26.00
This is a quiet, older RV park, within walking distance of the ocean. It is kept clean. There were only 3 RVers camping during our stay. There are no real activities, although there is a pool and hot tub available, so for recreation, you are pretty much on your own. There are 11 cable TV channels with reception being so-so (affected by stormy weather). Wi-Fi is excellent. RV sites are on grass. We arrived during a heavy rain, making leveling a bit of a challenge (ground was a bit soft, but not bad). The management is very pleasant. There are a few stores, restaurants, and gasoline available in town. Main shopping is in Long Beach, about 1/2-hour south. Restrooms are clean (pay showers: 25 cents per 5 minutes). Good, clean laundry facilities. Big rigs work well, too. Lots to see and experience in the greater surrounding area. This is a park we would revisit. - Dusty Traveler
May 2008 - $32.00
The people that own the park are working very hard to make improvements. The pull thru site are in the open and they let us park awning to awning. There is a great hardware store a block away that has every thing you can think of. There is also a book store coffee shop 3 blocks away. We will stay there again. - Foglesong
Aug 2018 - $25.00
We rarely, if ever, give a perfect score but I just had to give this park 10 stars. We are here because good friends are staying here and we wanted to come and see the kite festival. At first glimpse I wasn't impressed but then we received a royal welcome from the owners and their dog. We felt that we were long lost friends. The site they helped us into backed up to their house (I teased them that they were going to be keeping a close eye on us) and I was so happy becausetheir gardens were in full bloom and I have enjoyed it everyday. They have nicely maintained out buildings, a small rec room with a big table for cards, a large kitchen, a clam and oyster cleaning room and the restroom/shower buildings. All look like they are brand new and freshly painted but they have all been here for a few years. Anyone who has spent time in the Pacific Northwest knows what a job it is to keep building looking good. The salt air and the moss and mold are a huge challenge. Most of the sites in the park are gravel and grass but ours is all grass. Can't say enough about this park It's not fancy but very nice and they have great utilities! We will definitely be here again. Our rate reflects a two week stay. - Rick & Karen
Sep 2016 - $28.00
We like this park, very nice, clean and I think where we were parked in the park, we were out in the front spots that made it a little more convenient and very quiet. I did do what the last person said about the owners; you cannot find two nicer people to accommodate you during your stay. Even though this is a mobile home/ RV park, the more permanent people here were very nice everything was clean and tidy to the fact that it's something I'm not used to seeing. The weather while we were here was extremely good, no rain. I think when you're in this type of environment and you don't have everything wet; it gives you more of a clean feeling, but I think this park was so well taken care of that would not make a difference. We would definitely stay here again .
There is one thing that I am finding out more and more lately is that the cable supplied by the RV parks and this one falls into that category you need a cable box. You just don't hook your cable up anymore; you have to put a box inside your motorhome. I am going to have to work on making this for a quick disconnect and connect, so that we can use the park cable. I still don't travel with a satellite and don't see doing it for the near future. - monaco cruiser
Aug 2016 - $30.00
If you're looking for a nice, clean RV park run by two of the nicest, most responsive on-site owners we've ever met, this is the place! These two owners are friendly and helpful.
A fellow camper just let his two big dogs wander and do their business in our site. (We heard other campers yelling at this guy so we weren't the only ones). We asked the owner gentleman if he happened to have a picnic table so our stuff wouldn't get peed on. (I tend to get a little cranky when someone lets their dog pee on my BBQ.) Anyway, he had a table to us within 5 minutes. He also came by to make sure we got the cable box up and going. Not intrusive: just attentive.
The showers are spotless. Ditto with the restrooms. This is a nice quiet park close to a major vehicle access for beach driving. Even when they were busy, it didn't feel cramped here. Also close to shopping with two of the area grocery stores just down the street. We really enjoyed our time here and will be back next time we're in the area. - Travelfish
Aug 2018 - $38.00
The park has gone downhill fast. The spaces are so tight we couldn't fit in the first site assigned. Long term residents have trashed the place. - L H
Aug 2016 - $33.00
We had an oceanfront site, which meant that if we stood on our toes inside the motorhome we could see a sliver of ocean. Between the park and the ocean there is a path which is about two football field lengths. The site and park were adequate except that people have unleashed dogs all over the park and they don't pick up after them. We called the office to have someone come to our site and clean up some of the dog excrement and they did send someone. If I were to come to the peninsula again I would probably stay in Long Beach, which is a little bit livelier. - RVerMJ
Jun 2015 - $37.00
This is an older park that is about 11 miles north of Ilwaco. Some of the sites do have a distant view of the ocean but it is not worth paying extra for. If you are able, you can walk to the beach, but it is quite a ways. We checked other parks in the area, and the walk to the beach is about the same. This park has not been kept up as some of the other parks have, but it is adequate. Cable is fair, restrooms are clean, laundry is cheap but only one machine. We would stay here again. - johnanann
Sep 2018 - $43.00
This is a KOA Journey but feels more like a destination campground. Bicycles for rent & remote toy car track. Patio sites are in the front. We had a wooded site in the back. There is a hiking trail to a small beach. The campground is well off any main highway so is very quiet. Staff was great. They picked up our propane bottle to fill it. - storms
Jun 2018 - $86.00
We stayed in Site 4, a pull-through with full hookups. The site included a gas barbecue grill, a table with chairs, a picnic table, a fire ring, and a swing. There was a patio and a spacious grass area. The camp hosts were wonderful. They were friendly and helpful from the time we checked in until we left. When the store was out of eggs they went to their own refrigerator and brought us two eggs for free. There is a very nice dog park and a trail to the beach. The beach is nothing special but the dog and I enjoyed a nice morning walk there. There are many activities available in the park, far more than we are used to seeing. Our site had excellent satellite reception, but many sites were in the woods and would not. We would definitely stay here again. - Airhead
Aug 2016 - $38.00
We stayed here for 4 nights in a 27' travel trailer. I had requested a back-in site that was in the shade. It was easy to back into and was flat. It was large gravel...no grass. Some of the pull-thru sites in the sun had a grassy area. The picnic table was very short. If you were using it to cook on there wasn't much room for eating. Most everyone had another table they brought with them.
This was a small KOA but very quiet and clean. The site we were at was big enough that you didn't feel crowded if someone was parked next to you.
They had a large fenced dog run which my dog liked. Staff was very friendly. There is no pool here but they did have a nice playground for kids.
The sewer dump is right by the office and we had to go up, around, and head back into the park so our hoses were on the correct side. A little awkward.
There was a nice path to the beach where you could get clams if you wanted to.
I would stay here again. - Rorygirl
Aug 2018 - $30.00
Thank goodness I read a review on this sight that mentioned the horrible junkie house right at the entrance. I might have missed this place entirely. It's a bit of heaven. Quiet, older, but well maintained. Lawn with a path direct to the beach through the lovely dunes. The people here, several staying seasonally, were kind and helpful when we had a few Newbie issues. If you like simple and quiet, all good. They are strict on the peace keeping rules. So you can just relax. Our go to place at the beach now. - Kat51
Aug 2017 - $26.00
Pegg's RV park is about 5 1/2 miles from the intersection of Hwy 101 and Hwy 103 on Hwy 103. Pegg's driveway is opposite a large bright yellow billboard advertising Lighthouse Realty. As you turn into Pegg's driveway do not be deterred by the horrible condition of the first house you see. This house and property looks like a junkyard but I do not believe that the owner of Pegg's RV park owns this property. The entire campground consists of a wide open field on packed dirt and gravel. All sites are back-in. Most of the sites are not leveled. I had to use over 5 inches of wood to get leveled. All sites have FHU with 20/30 electrical service. The voltage was strong - hovering around 122 volts. Cable is available but we did not use it. There is a picnic table but no fire ring or WiFi. Propane barbecues are allowed but not the charcoal version. No camp fires are allowed due to the existing burn ban. Verizon air card and cell phone reception worked well here. Check with the camp host if there is space available if you have a large rig. There is a bathroom with one shower per gender. The bathroom was clean but not very appealing. We did not use them. The office doubles as a "clubhouse". Since it was not very busy the host placed an RV in one site leaving the next site empty. There is a path to the ocean. Don't forget to place some kind of marker on the beach so you know where to pick up the trail back to the campground. You can hear the ocean from the campground. During our stay the park at night was extremely quiet. We would come back to this park. We have a 32 foot 5th wheel. The price reflects the weekly rate. Note that this campground is for sale and has been for a while. - adsaxs
Sep 2016 - $26.00
Not the Taj mahal but good enough for a few days or a week at the beach. If you pay for 6 days, 7th day is free so it makes it relatively cheap to stay here. Park is well kept and clean, although aged. Owners are friendly and helpful. Have stayed here several times and will do so again when in the area. All sites are back in. - A Wedding
Sep 2018 - $50.00
Very tight park right on the beach. Well run by good folks! Spaces are indeed tight, you sit over your neighbors sewer hookup. Awnings are not an option! You can however, walk to the beach which is beautiful. Satellite hooked up, strong Verizon signal and they say in their campground literature to stream on the wifi! Unusual and it worked like a champ. Pretty good dog park. No recycling though, it's available at the transfer station off Sandridge RD. We would stay here again! - SHIPM8
Aug 2018 - $50.00
Front office people not very friendly. Sites are so close you can't put an awning out. They rent fire pits and people put them right next to your mh and the smoke comes in. I would not recommend this RV park. - Camper 63
Aug 2018 - $55.00
The park is well organized and right on the beach! The sites are level and spaced far enough apart to enjoy your own space without issue. The owners are very nice and the park is kept very clean. From the moment we arrived the staff is attentive and helpful! We will definitely be back to this awesome park! - Tonya DeWeese
Aug 2017 - $38.00
Stayed for a week during Kite Festival. Small park but very clean and quiet. Rec room pool table was a kick. Owner very friendly and helpful. Site is easy walk to beach and bus stop to town. Highly recommend this park. If in the area again we'll definitely stay there. - Brian A
Jun 2017 - $30.00
Nice small well run park. Some long term residents but all kept very clean and orderly. Quite and convenient location. Close to the beach and one of the nicer parks in the area. Would camp there again. Terri and her dog helpers really took care of us. - Jamesrock
May 2017 - $30.00
We stayed at Cranberry RV Park for a week at $216. The owner is a very nice lady! The park is quiet and not windy, as it is about a mile from the beach and surrounded by trees to block the winds. It is a clean park and nicely mowed and cleaned after each camper leaves their site. The laundry room machines work well, and is inexpensive. There are some folks who live there, and they are quiet and very nice! Their sites are well kept. It is near Cape Disappointment State Park, and not far from Astoria, Oregon. We were able to park our truck behind our 5th wheel conveniently. If in the area, we would definitely return! - Lindy White
Aug 2018 - $55.00
They say this is a resort but they don't have fire pits for fires and the sites are so close you are not allowed to put out your awning out. Along with our RV site we also had a tent site which was full of sticker balls had no water faucets any where for tents, and you were not allowed to have a picnic table. We reserved the tent site and RV site together. They marked on our paperwork we had the tent site reserved directly across from our RV site. After we saw someone set up their tent on that site, we were told we had to just pick our site - they don't hold sites. When we showed them paperwork that we had it reserved they still said it was our fault and never gave an apology. Along with this, several long term RVers were advised this weekend they were in violation of the rules by being 2" over. Even though they'd been set up for weeks they were forced to move. The demeanor of the manager and lack of promised amenities that were on listed on their website (clubhouse had none of the games, one bathroom for 100+ people), means this is one place that you should definitely skip during your travels! - ac liberty
Aug 2017 - $10.00
Will not be back. The sites are not designed for slideouts. The pavement is buckled, potholed, and sites now not level in many places -- looks like years of neglect. The clubhouse toilet seats are designed for "hobbits". The pool table is "closed due to abuse by minors". The shuffle board courts are so faded they are unreadable. And several full timers live here. - ronsco
Aug 2017 - $45.00
Honestly, other reviewers are being overly polite in describing the sites as "small" or "tight." They are the smallest, tiniest RV sites we've ever encountered and, like Farmers Insurance, we've seen a thing or two. I stepped ours off and it was just a little over twelve feet wide. Maybe six feet between our door and the side of our neighbor's rig. Really could not put our awning out more than a few feet. I'd skip this one. - User3369
Aug 2013 - $30.00
Not the nicest park. Full of local long term residents. Tiny sites, dogs roaming about, excrement everywhere. Manager not there in early afternoon. A resident volunteered to help but was not an employee. Long Beach in general has a lot of issues; definitely not the fun place of my youth. Sad to see this town so run down. - Slkneib
Aug 2011 - $30.00
We arrived after 3:00 on Friday. We could not find a manager although open sign was on by door. After 20 minutes or so a fellow showed up and said manager was gone. He didn't know where to park us so we waited. After 4:00 the manager showed up (inebriated?). Parked us and we were able to extend slide and hook ups were adequate. The roads are dusty, but what do you expect at the beach, and pet poo was everywhere it seems. It is a nice walk to beach and facilities were clean. The wi-fi was not working but cable was great (60 plus channels). The fishing was great and we will be back for clamming. - the boat guy
Aug 2011 - $30.00
Two good things: Walk to the beach (long walk, very long beach). Watch TV; many cable TV channels (but no list so hard to find anything in particular). Many bad things: It's mainly a run-down trailer park with a few transient spaces for RVs and tents. Our resident neighbor hit me up to "watch" our motorhome for us; I didn't care for the implication, and we would have left at that moment but didn't have anywhere to go (busy weekend). Animal excrement everywhere, possibly because residents let dogs and cats roam, in violation of park policy, so don't know where they drop stuff. Lots of it around my site's hookups, I had to do things on tip-toes. Sprint cellphone did not work -- ZILCH signal. Park Wi-Fi did not work; I could see the signal come and go -- I never could connect. NOT GOING BACK! - TravelHawk
Aug 2018 - $56.00
Made reservations for 3 nights, when we arrived I had to move a trailer full of garbage by hand to get my RV into the spot. The place was filthy, there are full-timers living in most of the park. 30 amp service, muddy sites and roads. We felt very unsafe in the park. Many unscrupulous people walking through the park at all hours. Manager would not give a refund on the 2nd and 3rd night when we decided to leave. Manger was very very unprofessional. Not as advertised. I would give a "0" Rating if possible. Would NOT recommend the Driftwood!! - RSF
Apr 2018 - $17.00
We did not use the restrooms as they were sub par and under remodel. The manager was very nice and let us check in early even though she wasnt there! The wifi worked well (we parked close to office). This was a good value for a short stay and met our needs. - Judi Johnson
Oct 2017 - $34.00
Stayed at the park for two days. The park was very quite and comfortable. It is a big round a bout so its easy to get in and out. WIFI was good and the power was solid. The manager was very nice and very knowledgeable about what was going on around town. I do wish the bathrooms where a little more updated. I camped at Driftwood RV park in a fifth Wheel. - Tracy N
