This place has it's pros and cons for sure. Typical RV park with an all-American summer camp feel. Lots of families and kids around riding bikes and having fun. Some sites that have power and water hookups. Wifi is slow but it works. Great access to the lake and a nice boat launch facility. They even have a concession stand in the park near the lake. The down side is that there is no privacy between spots at all. Very few sites (maybe 10 or so) have a good view of river. None of the sites are near the lake as there is a parking lot and a lawn-covered park between the lake and the camp sites. I will say that it is very safe. The police pass through several times a day, mainly because the lake shares boarders with Canada so they are there to support CBP for travelers that are boating between countries. We came in Right before 4th of July so the park was full to the brim with people. Even with that said it did respectfully quiet down at night. Didn’t hate this place but as an adult couple with no kids - looking for a bit more nature, view, and seclusion, probably won’t be back. But if you do have kids and are looking for fun, safe access to the lake and water activities, this is for sure the place! We camped at Osoyoos Lake Veteran's Memorial Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

What a hidden gem! This is a beautiful lakefront campground with a large sandy beach on a warm lake. There is a large grass park, beach, swimming area, and boat launch. We had a large pull-through site (site#25). We spent 10 days in August/September. The park was pretty empty so we had beautiful views from the front of the motorhome as well as out of the dining room windows. The sites are spacious with grass between them. Each has a picnic table and fire pit. There is also a furnished vacation rental home available to rent on the property. What a unique combination for a city campground. The campground staff was so friendly and accommodating. No sewer, however, there is a dump station when leaving the park (no extra charge). We camped at Osoyoos Lake Veteran's Memorial Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Easy access from highway 97. Check was quick and painless (self check in). Parameter roads are paved and easily maneuverable (big rig friendly). Sites are gravel. There are a few pull through but most are back in as well as some with no services. Utilities were to the left rear. There is a table and fire pit but no patio. We were here off season and we had very few neighbors. There is no cable but a good selection of OTA. I can see "Park Wifi" as an option but I could not log on as I did not have a password. Washrooms and showers were clean but dated. Fifty cents (US quarters only) for the shower. There is a beach at the park. It is sandy but some places are more rocky than sandy. There are no restaurants or stores within easy walking distance. We paid $24.00 per night (off season) and feel we received fair value. We would return. We camped at Osoyoos Lake Veteran's Memorial Park in a Motorhome.

Camping fees are now $26 for dry camping, no water, elect or sewer. $33 for W & E sites. Dump station is $5 if you don't pay for a camping site. Nice grass. Mostly back-in sites. There are a few pull-thrus. We didn't actually stay, but I did walk through the park to update this report, since there has not been an update since 2014. We parked in the gravel lot at Prince's Grocery since we just wanted a place to park overnight. We camped at Osoyoos Lake Veteran's Memorial Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here while making a day trip into Canada. There is a very good swimming area on the park beach. Our rate was for a non-hookup site. The sites are gravel with grass on all sides. We camped at Osoyoos Lake Veteran's Memorial Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for a day. But with the lack of power and the heat, had a miserable time. Had to leave and go to another park with power so I could use AC in my RV. Overall this park was very crowded and noisy. Didn't have a good time at all. We camped at Osoyoos Lake Veteran's Memorial Park in a Motorhome.

Nice park. Has a day use park with a designated swimming area. The lake was high when we were there, and some of the sites were flooded. The park manager was very nice, and the sites are in a field and nicely treed. You can fill with fresh water at the dump station for free. Showers cost extra. We camped at Osoyoos Lake Veteran's Memorial Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Nice state park. They have a water fill and a dump station which is $5. even if camping there. Few site have some shade. There is a beach at the lake. Very busy park, mostly full every day we where there. You can run generators from 8 AM to 9 PM. Choose you site carefully, if you are between the lake and other sites you are a walkway. Like most state parks there is ample room between sites. There are no trees or bushes between sites, just grass, so no privacy. We feel its a little pricey for a no hook up state park, and you have to pay to dump. We would not stay here again, for use its to busy and noisy with to many unsupervised kids running through the sites of other campers. We camped at Osoyoos Lake Veteran's Memorial Park in a Fifth Wheel.
