Overall Rating:

We stayed 3 nights while traveling through the area. The park is a short drive from I-82 (Exit 80) along a secondary street in a business district. The interior roads are paved. The interior roads and turns are sufficient to maneuver larger RV's. The sites are a mixture of back-ins and P/T's. The P/T sites were long enough to stay connected to a toad depending upon utility connections and availability of cords/hoses. Sites had sufficient room for opening slides. The majority of the P/T parking pads face Northwest to Southeast so there is some shade created by RV's on the patio side. The gravel parking pads with concrete drive strips are generally flat & level. The Premium 55' P/T sites (#14-27) do have a minor pitched exit ramp. Nothing too significant but it does impact the length of the site. They have full hook ups - water, electricity (50/30/20 AMP), & sewer. The utility connections were towards the middle to front of the sites. The sewer connection fitting was at about ground level so establishing a downhill flow is dependent on the discharge point. Distance and grassy areas establish privacy between the sites. All sites have an outside table. The landscaping didn't interfere with satellite reception. Some sites have cable. No information provided about OTA broadcast channels. Didn't try to get any broadcast channels. The park provided WiFi was adequate to place an order. Our Verizon WiFi hotspot worked well. Didn't use the NET10 phone so don't know about reception. No designated fenced pet area. Don't remember there being any bag dispensers or collection stations for waste but there were a couple of dumpsters scattered along the road. There was sufficient area to walk dogs along the park's roads. We camped at Wine Country RV Park in a Motorhome.

Quite a few activities on the weekend - farmers market, food truck serving breakfast in the park. Dominos delivered to the park.

The best thing about this RV park is the staff and the weekend "wine downs"! Sites, although a concrete pad, are very close together and barely long enough for a small tow vehicle. We have a truck and had to park elsewhere. Wifi is very slow even next to office area. They have a food truck during the "wine downs" with amazing pizza! Laundry is nice and inexpensive - 3 loads for $8.00! We camped at Wine Country RV Park in a Motorhome.

The name Wine Country is quite suiting. There is not a lot more to do than visit wineries. That has nothing to do with this park. Due to our last minute reservations we were given a back in at the rear of the park. This was not a bad thing. There was enough distance between sites. Not a lot but enough. You could park your truck/toad next to you - no problem. Everything was clean and the staff was helpful. It was super hot when we were there so we took advantage of the pool which was 99% in the scorching sun. I would not hesitate to stay here again. We camped at Wine Country RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

First time at Wine Country RV Park and we enjoyed it very much. The spaces are not too close and the grounds are lovely. The check in experience was one of the best I have ever encountered and I appreciate the emphasis made on following the rules especially quiet hours. My only complaint is the lighting is quite bright and garish. If that could be toned down, it would make for better ambiance in the evenings and not light up your RV! We camped at Wine Country RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

We've stayed here numerous times. I want to mention, not every site has a concrete pad and those without concrete aren't always level. Great water pressure, 30/50 amp service, close to (walking) restaurants, shops, etc. The staff very knowledgeable on local wineries and have suggested some great ones. Most of the camping spots are pull through, although pulling a 40' 5th wheel with a long bed when the park was full, was easier to back into our site. We were able to keep the truck onsite. The space between sites is adequate and grassy with a picnic table and benches. Restrooms and laundry room, we haven't used a lot, but were very clean when it was used. The pool is a little small, but nice on those hot summer days. I believe some of the premium sites have a cable option. A nice park that we will always stay at when we're in the area. We camped at Wine Country RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We have a rear connection for our power cord so had to pull to the front of the spot in order to reach the plug in, thus we had to disconnect the tow vehicle to park behind the 5th wheel. That was no oproblem.

Nice place for an overnight. We were late getting in and the check in desk was closed but they have a nice white board which had our name on it and an envelope telling us where our assigned spot was with a map. The sites have concrete rows on them which did require some maneuvering to get centered on. They are not completely level and required some adjustment. The sites are clean, the water pressure is good. They had 50/30 amp power and a very nice picnic table at each site. There was plenty of grass to walk the dogs. It is close to the interstate, trains and a truck stop so I wouldn't want to spend a week here but great for an overnight. We camped at Wine Country RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Wine Country is a very nice park, very close to all area wineries. Sites are mostly pull-through, with back-ins around the perimeter. Our site had concrete with grassy area. Sites are roomy. Interior roads are in excellent condition and easy to navigate. Wine tastings from nearby wineries were held at the park on Thursday, Friday and Saturday for a small fee. Staff were friendly and helpful. WiFi worked most of the time. There is a gravel path around the perimeter for dog walking. Overall a great place to stay. Lots of reviews already posted which are accurate. Our site did not have the carriage trails of concrete which made it easier to extend the jacks. The one consideration for summer camping is that they oriented the sites in a manner that will catch lots of sun on the driver side in the afternoons, and will be hot. This was our second stay at this park and would return. We camped at Wine Country RV Park in a Motorhome.

One interesting wine tasting was going to Grandview for the Yakima Valley Vintners, the school that trains wine makers, and tasting the students' wines. Some can be quite good.

Tips for other Campers:

Bern's Tavern (oldest tavern in Washington? I think) great for burgers and talking to locals. Bonnie's Vine and Gifts great assortment of wines and gifts at reasonable prices (bought a port there that was $20 cheaper than Bacchus). We especially enjoyed Alexandria Nicole wines. Their tasting room looks like a little shop in a shopping strip but wait til you walk inside! Their wines were superior.

We feel that the site we had was sufficient. We had a end space so we had extra grass area that was not used by your next door neighbor. Everything worked as expected. Restroom was cleaned but we were surprised that they had pay showers. Lots of wineries in the area. Stayed here in a motor home and would stay here again.
