Really great area the views are incredible,we were right on the water, nice pool, well worth the drive down the steep hill. - john55
Jul 2019 - $1.00
First time here and one of the best Thousand Trails parks we have been to. Friendly helpful staff always working to keep the park clean. Good power and water pressure. Only downside as stated by others is the "laundry closet" was unbelievably small. - Team Health and Wealth
Aug 2018 - $1.00
This is a really nice Thousand Trails campground with large sites that had grass on them and full utilities. Some sites, like ours, have a view of the Columbia River. Swimming pool and hot tub are clean and inviting. Actually, this park is well taken care of by the employees. They were always out trimming bushes, cleaning sites, etc. Buildings are newer and not run down at all. There is a great walking trail along the Columbia that leads to a really nice park. AT&T cell phone, Verizon MiFi and Dish Satellite all worked well in this campground. The only negative I could see was the laundry room. There were 4 washers and 4 dryers, but the room was so small, it was hard to open the doors on 2 of the washers. Also, because of the small size, there was no folding table. - Bobbi1948

Our first stay at a Washington State Park- staff excellent- drove through avail sites to select one most appropriate. Staff came by to ensure our happiness. Great views on River- lots of trails to walk- well spaced and if the rest of the state parks are as good I will definitely try all. - Xenamax
Aug 2018 - $40.00
Very nice urban park run by the Washington State Parks. Park has beach access for boats, swimming, picnic, playgrounds, beach shower rooms, tennis, basketball, and lots of green grass. Yes lots of grass. Park has two loops, and a reservation is a good idea ($8.00). Roads in the loop are narrow, and large rigs would get a few brushings. Sites for the most part are level, with a combination of back in, and pull through. Winery is close bye, Walmart too, but a longer drive. The park has a great mostly flat 10 mile loop across river through town, restroom stops along way. I would return again. - NXTSTOP
Aug 2018 - $45.00
Beautiful state park on the Columbia River. Sites are paved with grassy yards. We had 4 bars LTE with ATT and numerous OTA channels. The park has upgraded to 50 amp so we were able to keep our rig cool in 100 degree temperatures. They water the grass every day so expect some overspray on the patio and driveway. Our only complaint is that they don't trim the trees very well on the park roads. We encountered some branches on the way out that were unavoidable and about 3 feet too low for our RV. Otherwise, it was a great park. - lorangl

Beautiful, well maintained and clean campground. Well spaced sites with good sized yards. Level paved sites. Our site is right on the river. Office staff very friendly and helpful. Pretty good WiFi. No tv channels. Would definitely come here again. - User3701
Aug 2019 - $38.00
Friendly college-age attendants. Locked gate. Key card available to open gate after attendant hours. Paved lanes and RV sites. Site was level, spacious, and shaded. Moderate to high highway noise (along Hwy 87 / 2). Pay showers. About 500 foot walk to restrooms and showers. Weak wife for web browsing. Tobacco-free and marijuana-free RV park. 70-85 psi water pressure. Needs pressure regulator. 2 pets maximum allowed. Park parallels Wenatchee River and has beach access. - DavidML
Aug 2019 - $38.00
Arrived at Wenatchee River County Park with no issues as this park was right off WA 2. Check in was quick and easy and we proceeded through their gate to back in site 12. The day prior we had received an instructional email to include asking for our vehicle types and license plates to speed up check in. As the RV sites are in circles, we had no problem backing into our spot and the FHUs were easily accessible. We got four channels on OTA. As there are mature trees in the sites, anyone wanting to use their satellite would need to choose carefully. The sites were nicely spaced with plenty of grass areas around the park. The Wenatchee river runs along the park, but from most of the sites you cannot see the river due to trees. Water pressure was really good at 70 to 85 PSI so a regulator is advised. We got excellent Verizon service but we could not log into the campground internet; kept getting invalid password with the one provided. This was a tobacco free park to include vaping and chewing. We experienced a lot of highway noise during the day and then periodic trains during the night. Not the park's fault, but we had several RVs near us with children. Parents did not control their children and they very noisy roaming or driving their kid-size electric ATVs through campsites. If we came through this area again, we would let the families have the park and stay elsewhere. - MK_Willi

There are not many state parks where we can take our 45 ft motorhome, but this is one. We just barely fit into the back in site, but we fit! Lovely setting, well marked roads, FHU. A very nice park. - MerBee
Sep 2019 - $50.00
We really cannot say enough about the quality, layout and upkeep of this park. A Washington State park located in the Columbia Valley just 15 minutes north of Wenatchee, this park is laid out in three loops with paved roads and a mix of back-in and pull-through sites widely separated by groomed lawns. Loop 1 offers dry camping in a treed setting adjacent to the docks and boat launch ramps with easy lake access for all kinds of water sports. Loop 2 is perched on a hill in the middle of the park and offers full services. Loop 3 is slightly more inland, with electricity and water hookups. There are also sleeping cabins available. We stayed at site #41 in Loop 2 with full water/sewer/50 amp electrical, and a vast lawn area with a view to Lake Entiat. Voltage was 118v and perfectly stable. Water pressure is high - use a regulator. Pay attention to the sprinkler schedule posted on park bulletin boards. The park has plenty of garbage bin locations - though we could not find recycling. There is no WiFi or cable but good cell coverage. The washrooms are very clean and have coin showers. There is a very small store by the boat launch and a fire wood service makes regular rounds for $6/bundle. The location is fantastic for exploring the area and less than 15 minutes from Wenatchee. Easy access to walking trails throughout the park and beyond. The Rocky Reach Trail network winds through the park and connecting with the larger Apple Capital Trail network extending 20 miles south. - Tony Safari
Sep 2019 - $40.00
We have stayed here the past 3 years right after Labor Day holiday crunch. It is a nice park with no road or train noise and big grassy sites. Not sure what is my biggest complaint is, the low tree branches throughout the park or the poorly aimed sprinklers. The tree branches have scrapped the our RV on the already tight road when driving to the site. Then you will need drive on the grass to keep away from the overgrown trees. These are the water front pull thru sites, the back in sites look much better. At any rate I've never had a clear view for the roof top dish. Let's just say your going to get wet with the sprinklers and they will leave some nice hard water deposits on your vehicles if that matters to you. The last item worth mentioning is most all of the sewer connections are at the very rear of the site. Bring the extra long sewer hose. Bottom line is I'll return but most likely in a backin site. - 45Ricochet

Aug 2019 - $27.00
This is one big open dirt/grass lot with FHU's. Sites tightly spaced. They keep the bathroom/showers clean. There are no amenities here, nor activities in the "park". The price is good, comparative to an average RV park. - rvrrat520
Jul 2019 - $27.00
Park has wifi and cell service. Its on a big open field with full hook ups for cheap so that was a great place to park for a day at Leavenworth. Sunny sites so you need ac during the summer. Camp host assign spots to help spread you out. They were really nice. - DarcysOnTheGO
Jun 2019 - $27.00
This is a very large open field, no trees, but full hook ups. To check in, drive in the park and over to the far right side by the bathrooms to find the Camp Hosts. The Camp Hosts are very nice and helpful. The interior roads are paved, but kind of tight, which doesn't really matter, since everyone drives on the grass/dirt. Parking is pretty level and on the grass/dirt. We had rain a few days, but it is so dry there, that we didn't have any mud and weren't worried about getting stuck. Other than the Hosts, we didn't see any one living there full time. This is a no frills camp site, but it is clean and convent to visit the area. - Moo1966

Nov 2019 - $40.00
We stayed there for the 2nd year, in the fall. Close to Leavenworth, WA, which is why we were there. Power was good and clean, bathrooms the same. Pooper stall is kinda narrow, if you are broad of beam, that might be an issue. Wi-Fi was good in the office/lounge, but we were in the farthest away site, (#86) so no joy. Manager is a very nice gentleman, friendly and accommodating. Sites are unpaved, but fairly level, with picnic tables and fire rings. They have a play area for the kids, and a pool, which was closed for the winter. We stayed over Veterans Day weekend. - RideSlow2004
Jun 2019 - $40.00
Lovely family owned park off the highway far enough you don't hear the traffic. Instead from our site we heard and watched the river flowing behind our site. Staff was always mowing, watering, trimming so the park looked great. The manager was very nice and stopped by during our stay to see how we were doing. $1.50 per washer and dryer load. Only 2 of each and they were so close together the dryer doors did not open completely. Recreation room with foosball, ping pong, pool table, and soft drink machine was open 24 hours. Many full time residents but sites were neat and grouped away from the transient sites. No Verizon service or OTA channels. WiFi did not reach to the back row which the manager had told us. He said WiFi was available at the rec room but we could not connect. Sites on the map are indicated as pull thru but I couldn't see how they would be successful for any size vehicle. We tried to extend our stay but no site was available. Everything in Leavenworth is expensive but worth the trip. - Betsy_02
Jul 2017 - $36.00
We stay here a couple of times every year, most convenient and affordable park near Leavenworth. Basically off the grid - no use-able WiFi and no cell signal at all. Some of the sites are very small and difficult to navigate. Try to get next to creek in back, more privacy and access to the water. - Maqui Mike

Apr 2017 - $40.00
This is a pretty basic campground, no frills, however the hookup fees were high considering there was no sewer or cable. Tent campers nearby. Beautiful location, though, on the waterfront. We'd stay again, though, when visiting Wenatchee as most of the other campgrounds filled up pretty quick. - Bport
Aug 2015 - $31.00
Located next to the Columbia River this park has grassy areas and picnic tables. There is swimming allowed in the river and kayaks, peddle oats and stand up boars available to rent. The sites are grassy and level but rather close together. Electric and water hookups only with no dump station in the park. The bathrooms and showers are adequate and relatively clean. Since there are quite a few tent sites, the restrooms are in heavy use. The hostess was exceptionally skilled in customer service and went out of her way to be helpful. The available WiFi could be used near the office only, but there is a table set and some chairs nearby that you can use while online. - Mainlygoing
Jul 2015 - $35.00
Simple, plain park next to the Columbia River. The 13 parallel RV sites are either grass or gravel with sun or shade, depending on the site. Water and electric hookups; no sewer and no dump station. Very clean park setting with boat ramps, lots of grassy areas but close to Highway 97 and fairly noisy. Verizon 4G service good but OTA television was primarily PBS (7 of the 10 channels). Dog friendly. No apparent restrictions on washing vehicles. I would stay here again. - fruffiii

Aug 2006 - $13.00
This campground is approx. 10 miles north of Virden on the 97. We stayed in a double site ($26.00 without Golden Age Pass)just so we could be on the creek. We stayed in 2-3 which is a beautiful lush green camp site with wildflowers everywhere. This area is located to the right of the pay station but be careful, there is no room to turn around if you are towing a car. I would walk it first to make sure that you will be able to get out ok. There is water and garbage service. This campground would be heaven if it wasn't so close to the highway but we did find that the road noise calmed down around 9pm. You can take on water near the picnic area which is on the right when you first come into the campground. You will need a water thief since the spigot is not threaded. A single site runs $13.00 a night. We would use it as a stop over again. - jannie5

Jul 2019 - $32.00
We stayed 3 nights to visit national park system sites in the area while traveling through the area. The park is a nice oasis in an arid region but with limitations & challenges. It is just off the main highway between the highway/railroad tracks and the river. The interior road & parking pads are paved. The interior road is narrow, one-way, with some tight turns, and designated & over flow parallel parking creating a challenge to maneuver larger RV's. Limited registration & unhooking parking near the camp host site where you check in. The parking along the one-way street could interfere with maneuvering to back in. Saw vehicles seen going the wrong way along the RV site row including City employees. All of the RV's sites are paved back-ins with a slight slope - lower in the rear. They are long enough to park an RV and another vehicle. Sites had sufficient room for opening slides. The majority of the parking pads face Northwest to Southeast so there is shade created by RV's on the patio side. They have full hook ups - water, electricity (50/30/20 AMP), & sewer. The electric & water connections towards front of site. Sewer connection at rear of site at ground level so establishing a downhill flow is dependent on the discharge point. Distance and grassy areas establish privacy between the sites. All sites have an outside table, fire pit and tent pad. Watched tent campers walking through RV sites (btwn 13 & 14) to reach tent sites (#1-8) when not parking in designated parking spaces. The landscaping is new so there is nothing to interfere with satellite reception. An employee string trimming threw small rocks against the side of our coach. No cable. No information about OTA broadcast channels. Didn't try to get any broadcast channels. No park provided WiFi. Our Verizon WiFi hotspot worked well. Didn't use the NET10 phone so don't know about reception. No designated fenced pet area. Must make reservation through ReserveAmerica.com (888-836-8762). Fee: $7. - bsb814

We stayed 4 nights in a river view site and enjoyed it very much. That being said sites are way too close together and I would not have been happy with a site in the upper section; too dusty and dirty. Wi-Fi is very spotty; cell service not much better; OK cable. Our site was very level and all hook-ups worked very well. While the pet area is minimal there is an excellent paved path to the Sleeping Lady Resort which my dogs and I really enjoyed. The Sleeping Lady Resort within easy walking distance offers a microscopic mini mart, bar and restaurant; lovely walking paths. Also walked to the Fish Hatchery; absolutely beautiful and interesting. Would stay again but only in a review view site. - ctravelgal01
Jul 2019 - $51.00
General appearance of RV Park is not what you see once you are escorted to your site. I had to back at least 100 ft to my site due to tight spacing. Other vehicle were park opposite the site making it tight. The sites are in poor condition. 30 Amp site with low voltage. WiFi was was very weak to non existent.Cell service was one bar. Park was not pet friendly. Road noise from 50 feet from RV site was horrible. Sites are very close with people walking between sites. Felt very insecure with foot traffic. Would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone. The only good thing to say about this park was cable TV. Office was friendly. - DNY97
Jul 2019 - $45.00
This is an old campground. Lots of dirt, small spaces, tight roads. A small handful of spots are on the river. The rest are just small dirt spots. I'd avoid it. But if you want to stay in the Leavenworth area, you don't have many choices. And they know that. There was a pile of rubbish in our site that I had to remove and a pile of dog poop! The gentleman that led us to our site was extremely rude and offensive. Stayed two nights and probably won't stay again. It offers nothing. - Bruce of Port Ludlow
