This was a nice park, but it is a Thousand Trails park. This means that the facilities will be older, and the sites are not reserved meaning when you get there you have to drive around trying to find an open spot. It was close to Memorial day, but we lucked out in finding a pretty nice spot. It is a serious challenge getting satellite as the park is heavily forested, which makes it very beautiful - much like camping in the forest. We had lots of opportunities to walk around and it was beautiful. The site is 30A and water only. There are a lot of long term campers hauling there portable tanks to the dump station, and I saw a couple of very disgusting displays of poor sanitation of people emptying those tanks. A word of warning about power quality: our power protection kicked out several times due to over and under voltage. I would say it is mandatory to have power protection to protect your electronics and unit systems. It was a nice stay, but a challenge due to the power and sewer issues. - AZ_Travelers
Nov 2018 - $61.00
Really...$61 for this campground? really? I camped here one night to visit some friends and my go-to campground closes Nov 1. I had no other choice. Gravel roads, gravel sites, unkempt site, not particularly level, leaves everywhere. Crappy fire pit stick back in the trees. Not a bad campground for $35, but $61 with tax is absurd. - the5reeds
Sep 2018 - $51.00
Peaceful with gorgeous tall trees. Each site was pretty private. Site a little unlevel, nice picnic table and fire pit although because of fire danger, unable to use. Pool and spa closed as late in the season. The park help extremely nice. Wish we could have stayed longer. A bit of a drive to get there, but close to Snoqualmie Falls. We had satellite reception. This is a thousand trails park, and we are not members, but were welcomed. - Crbus

This is mainly a place to stay in a big city, and it's reasonable for a city. There are 7 backins with electric, sewer and water. It is difficult backing into the spots because the whole area around the lodge is hilly. It is very close to SeaTac Airport, planes flying overhead constantly, but it does quiet down pretty good in the middle of the night. Wifi doesn't work in the RV's but there is wifi in the building. No cable, but being in a town there are a lot of channels with the antenna. Water pressure was good. - Ginny H
Sep 2016 - $25.00
This is camping for Elks members only . I consider this urban camping at its best. We stayed here five days; it was convenient to relatives house and also attractions in Seattle. If at all possible try to get the sites further back from the main street traffic; traffic is somewhat steady till late in the evening. There's also some walking residents that cut through the parking lot from the apartment complex behind the Elks Lodge. Sometimes you question first impressions, but there were no issues with anybody and everything was quiet and safe . I did ask the bartender inside the Elks, if they'd ever had any issues with vandalism. He said in the three years he had been there he had not experienced any so that was a good sign. Remember to call ahead as there are only eight sites there and it seems like people tend to stay for longer periods than what I normally see. I would try to get sites one through five if possible. There was a vacancy when we got there on a Friday which worked out for us, but nobody left till we left five days later. All utility hookups are in back of your parking spot which is a back-in, so plan accordingly. You may need longer sewer hoses, water hoses etc. but everything worked fine for us. I would say this, if you plan on camping here make sure you are comfortable with backing up in tight spots on a incline. Your spots are level, but you're on a grade backing in; tow car hook up and disconnect can be an issue. We used the fire lane for a short period of time. I would stay here again if in the area. - monaco cruiser

We had been in four KOA's just prior to this one, and this campground would not even register on a scale compared to these. First the lady checking me in asked the other lady in office why computer was showing an error. The other lady said it's ok the spot is short but he will fit. I booked this campground in February, so this was not a drive up. Then the lady in office directed me into my pullthru spot in the wrong direction. Had to back down the aisle of campers to get turned around. The roads are very narrow and to get down another row to my spot I had to stop and get out and ask two people to move their truck because they put people in spots that left no room for vehicles. All vehicles were parked between camper up against picnic tables. When the people that were parked next to us arrived, they could not get out of the passenger door because they had to back between campers to park their truck. Place was more like an rv storage with hookups than a campground. - dtgt
Aug 2019 - $59.00
As other reviews have noted, this is a tight park for big rigs. We were able to take our 43 foot fiver through the narrow roads and barely into our assigned site. Lots of pot holes in the roads. There is a tight 180 degree turn at the entrance to get to the office but there is a stoplight. Water pressure was excellent. Electric, water, and sewer connections were located in the center making it easy to connect. We were able to get good Satellite TV and local OTA. Sites are very close together. They pack people in this place with tents on the lawn. Staff was nice but had a hard time completing our check in due to the computer system. Parking your tow vehicle is a problem with limited space at the site and too few parking spaces by the office. Vehicles are parked everywhere including in the grass and part way into the too narrow roads. WiFi was slow but adequate for email. All that said, this is the closest RV park to downtown Seattle. Easy access to SEATAC (15 minutes). The neighborhood seems safe and is mostly industrial. Lots of road noise. They do show kids movies each night on the lawn in the summer. Kids seemed to be enjoying the pool and playground. - BBGuy
Aug 2019 - $61.00
This is the worst KOA we have ever stayed at. The only thing I can say is "this is a dump". By the looks of it this is a very old KOA. The entrance is somewhat narrow. The sites are extremely tight, and junk RVs decorate the front entrance where you are suppose to register. This IS NOT a park for big rigs. We have a 44' class A and could barely make it through the streets and into our spot. We could not put our awnings out as the site we were assigned was to narrow. Thank goodness I only wasted one day here. Bottom line, we will not come back to this park. On the positive side, the manager who checked us in was very nice and friendly. - Leola Belle

Sep 2017 - $39.00
We loved it because it is very wooded, lots of room between sites and privacy with lots of bushes and trees. Only 49 sites. Probably not a good spot for a huge motor home. Too many tree branches not huge sites. 2 tokens for showers. Takes a while to get hot water. We really enjoyed our stay. - Ncogneeedo
Aug 2017 - $40.00
We just completed our 4th annual weekend at Manchester. We keep going back because we love the large, private, wooded sites and the how incredibly quiet it is! Nice place to walk along the water, watch the ferry come and go explore tide pools. - Mksea
Jul 2017 - $35.00
This is a small state park on the water, not far from Seattle. It is clean and well maintained. Privacy is fairly good, with bushes/shrubs between spaces. There is a small beach and a number of hiking/biking trails. I stayed here for a couple of days. - Dan C

Jun 2014 - $25.00
I rated this low. For $25/night it had to be the worst WA state park we have ever stayed in. Sites 1-4 are the ones where supposedly the large RVs should be. They are as close together as any commercial campground, so no privacy, noise from your neighbor's generator, etc. There were other pull through sites that would have worked. The website just didn't show they were available for larger rigs, but we saw a RV larger than ours on one of them, That would have been a much more pleasant spot with a little more privacy. $25/night for no hooks and no working dump station felt like it was priced too high. You also get charged extra if you are not a WA state resident and want to make a reservation. Unlike most Western WA state parks, there is little or no vegetation between any of the RV sites in this park. Only sites with any privacy are in the tent or very small class B RV area. You are in the flight path of SeaTac so you do get that noise. On the plus side, nice hiking trail in the park and easy walk to the beach area. Probably not a park we'll stay in again. - DRFink
Jul 2013 - $23.00
Nice woodsy park between Seattle and Tacoma. We were in a 45' motorhome and except for one tight turn because of a parked camper sticking out, I was able to navigate thru the park and to the campsite with care, but no problem. The showers do not work (was told by camp host). The place is a bit overgrown. I had to trim a tree as not to scrape going into my site. Site 1 - 4 are best for big rigs. Easy to back in to and easy to pull out. No hookups (as advertised) and a good price. The beach is great. A nice paved path along the waterfront is nice. A good restaurant called Wally's Chowder House a couple of miles away was wonderful. The park is great for camping. Just not very well maintained with the lack of budget in the WA State Park System. - JoeVinnie
Jul 2011 - $22.00
The park was extremely well maintained. There were many trails to explore, and the beach access had excellent low-tide pooling for investigation. Our site right next to the creek was wonderful. Detractions included the airline traffic heading to/from Seatac (pretty minor, but noticeable) and the dry camping (offset by running a generator to recharge batteries). - bradrf

Sep 2018 - $35.00
We stayed here for a long weekend and managed to arrive early. The desk staff was very helpful and got us in early and was very accommodating. With some planning, they allowed us to leave our trailer in a back in space while we were in town prior to our departure. That gave us an extra day to visit family.
The roads a a little tight but manageable if you scout your path. The road noise was not noticeable except when sitting outside, which we didn’t do much, or when an emergency vehicle went by. We will be back. - Pfmarine1
Jul 2018 - $57.00
Efficiently managed. Very tightly packed in. Rather challenging to maneuver a big rig. Felt safe. Very close to the interstate, considerable road noise. This is just a place to park, go sightsee, and be on your way. - Lizzie Bliss
Jun 2018 - $63.00
We spent five nights at this campground while visiting my daughter who lived near downtown Seattle. You can't beat the location. Some freeway noise. There is a market within walking distance. Yes, it is parking lot camping but we were gone all day and only came back at night to get some rest. Front office staff was very helpful. - pb24

Campground is close to interstate but quiet. Nice scenery on lake with mountain views. Had W/E only and the sites are extremely narrow but very long. Close with a slide out but managed OK. Firepits available. Nice choice for proximity to city. - CCMcLeod
Jun 2016 - $40.00
This is our 3rd time staying. The owners and people are so on top of cleanliness, trash, lawn maintenance. It's truly wonderful if you like lake life. We see eagles and herons flying above us, sun reflecting on Lake Sammamish, our kids playing in the swimming area with slide. . Definitely worth coming again and again.
We were happy with our space. We have preferred the spot on the end (23?). Companies have their parrots at park, but it was fun people watching as well as people launching their boat from the ramp in front of us. One guy fell in water as he was guiding the driver down the ramp. Hahahahah
Definitely book in advance- January for the spots in June - August. Recommend the end spot in the end (23?) - Lagomamasita
Sep 2015 - $35.00
This is a fairly clean park. During the day there's some traffic and aircraft noise; at night it's quiet.
20 amp plus water sites are long, non-level grass and dirt with no shade. Utilities are at the back, and half are on the wrong side. Full hookup sites are shorter, non-level gravel and grass, with utilities in the usual locations. Each site has a picnic table.
Roads are asphalt in fair condition with some potholes and many annoying speed bumps.
There's one private shower per gender, $0.25 for 5 minutes. The men's shower is inadequately ventilated and usually muddy, with discolored tiles, a torn shower curtain, and cobwebs. I saw one silverfish.
Verizon LTE works well.
WiFi is strong. I measured 571.6 kB/s down.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
There are strong terrestrial broadcast TV signals from CBS and ION.
Laundry: 2 top-loaders ($1.75), 2 dryers ($1.50).
Rate is total with tax for a 20 amp site. - wjzcbn

Oct 2017 - $20.00
Was the start of 2 week trip, and very close to visiting my cousin. Camp ground has a lot of picnicking areas, boat launch, huge dock for boat this place must be busy during the Summer most things are closed for season. Campground is close to town, ferry ride to Seattle. My site had no hook ups, dump station is on your way out. Site was level, with lots of trees. As you have read, some sites are occupied with questions, host was not really around, or helpful during my visit. This is not a destination camp ground, but convenient. - NXTSTOP
Apr 2017 - $20.00
Only one site has hook ups. The RV dump station is closed. The park employees are not enforcing the park rules of a 10 day limit. The park employees are not checking sites for who has paid and who has not paid. It appears that a homeless encampment is sqautting on the only site available with hook ups. - MrRigdon-17
May 2014 - $32.00
We heard a lot about this place from other campers that post on RV Park Reviews. This camp ground was packed to the brim, dogs-kids every where and boy was it noisy--fun as hell to be around. The park offered a lake access below where we were parked and there was a lot of games going on on the beach. We will for sure be coming back again next year. - kara9

This park has a small salt water beach access area. Lots of trails with some of them providing a good workout. Bring lots of leveling blocks as most of the site are not very level. Water, electric, and sewer infrastructure is in very good shape. Verizon wireless signal level was strong enough to provide internet and phone. This is an older park right in a residential area but your really wouldn't know it. - hoppers4
May 2017 - $40.00
Older park in somewhat rundown condition. As others have said... windy narrow access is not big rig friendly. Lots of "campers" in small tents and autos. First park in 3 years we have felt strangely unsafe. No campground host presence, even though there's a 5th wheel parked in the host spot. He is never "on duty". Bathrooms/showerhouses are being worked on and maybe in the future they will be acceptable. Unlike other campgrounds we have stayed at all across the country, we did not meet any other campers while here. Everybody pretty much keeps to themselves. It is quiet. The traffic around here is terrible with windy roads and aggressive drivers. Not likely to stay here again. - raytwntrvlr
Sep 2016 - $45.00
Except for bath/shower bldg, which was cleaned daily, this campground is not well maintained. Sites are small; large rigs had significant trouble navigating the curved roads & trees (this park works for modest-sized rigs); several rundown rigs were using the max 10-night stay; several feral (?) cats. Asphalt pads in disrepair. Thorny wild berry plants encroaching into site & long overdue for trimming. Lots of air traffic noise from nearby Sea-Tac airport. No garbage cans anywhere except at restroom. Beautiful path to Puget Sound shore. Not worth the fee & hassle of the required online reservation procedure. - Taco stand

This is an Elks members park.
The grounds are beautiful! It was quiet and peaceful here, we ended up extending our stay.
Water and 30 amp only.
Free dump at the fairgrounds about 3 miles away (hard to find).
Be sure you follow directions carefully to the lodge... Pine RD NE.
The ferry from Bremerton to Seattle is about 8 miles away, but easy access.
We would stay again. - Edwards-JV
Aug 2015 - $20.00
Nice location, gravel surface, sites not too spacious but we had no one on either side of us for the 3 nights we stayed there. A couple of non-Elks groups used the picnic facilities adjacent to the RV parking but they were gone by dark. Friendly staff in lodge. Water and electric at site but no dump. Couldn't get level on Site #9 so chose #8 instead. - RVtravelers2
