3 RV Parks near Logan, West Virginia
Jun 2013 - $20.00
We stayed here for two nights while passing through to Kentucky. It is a state park and that is what you get. We did not have a dump but for the cost per night, that was fine and it was only for two nights. The park was quite empty and quiet. - aka4170

What a change! I posted the beautiful rating on this park two years ago. It is still a beautiful park, but! We just left there after seven days. It is now a work camp. All of the sewer camp sites are taken by workers' trailers. They leave at 0630, honking to pickup buddies. Most units sit idle on weekends. There are equipment trailers at the sites. The park does not care about tourists or real campers. The shower/rest rooms are terrible. Showers have one control for water flow. The rooms are always wet and not cleaned. Electric service was not always reliable. The tank dump had no working water to wash out the hose. This place really went down hill. - Phrg34
Jul 2006 - $24.00
Beautiful park...pay pool..miniature golf..lots of play ground equipment..group shelters. Unfortunately terrible showers/bath, very dirty and left that way. Trash picked up. Countless deer, bobcat and other wild life. Speed limit enforced all the time. Lots of trails; fishing and nature activities. The 8 is only for the baths. - Phrg34
Jul 2017 - $28.00
The sites with sewer hookup are occupied by permanent residents. The other 1/2 dozen are water/elec. with a large grassy area for primitive camping. This campground is all about location. It has a public access point for the Little Coal River that is heavily used by kayakers and the occasional swimmer. Until Fall of 2015 it was a primary campground for users of the Hatfield-McCoy ATV trail system. The trails in this area were closed and the campground has declined since. The laundry and camp-store are closed and the owner is generally only reachable by phone. - Appleknocker
