Although the campsites are close together it was a nice and quiet campground. No one there to bother you. It was on an asphalt pad with full hookups. It’s really close to 2 playgrounds for kids and if you enjoy watching softball there was a game going nearly every evening. We camped at Antigo Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

A very nice little city park with RV sites. Made reservations online and they sent an email with several attachments, one of which contains your site number. The sites are all marked with your name on the post. There is no one actually at the park to check you in. Sites are back in and most have 30 amp, sewer and water. The water spigots are at the extreme rear of the site and the electric is in the middle, so you may need either 50 feet of hose or a long power cord. The park is tight but very well maintained. It backs up to a city street but the street is lightly traveled. There is a manufacturing plant across the street, but I didn't notice any real noise coming from it. There are just a dozen or so RV spots, the northern ones seem to be longer. Great stop for an overnight or a day. Convenient to US 45 and shops and stores in Antigo. Very pretty park around the lake for walking and riding. Ball fields adjacent to the RV park do have games, but they're over by 8 pm. Self-service wood pile next to the bathhouse provides firewood for a donation. We camped at Antigo Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If coming from the north on US 45, use 2nd Ave. to Hudson St. Disregard any GPS directions to use 3rd Ave. If coming from the south, 5th Ave is the best turn off US 45. The FS Fast Stop gas station nearby says that they have propane, but they don't seem to have anyone there that knows how to pump it into a motor home. Not far away is an Amerigas, but they will only fill between 4 and 4:30 in the afternoon.

This might not be a destination campground but it's great for a few days down time when traveling. This is a hidden gem when it comes to city run campgrounds. Quiet, peaceful and relaxing. You can make reservations on line. This campground is managed well. We had reservations and to be honest I was worried about getting the site we reserved. The city had our site well marked as reserved. So no problem getting our site. Thirteen RV pads are asphalt and 7 RV sites are gravel without any hookup. Grass is mowed, the campground is clean and well maintained. There are not any 'seasonal' RVs here. The road through the campground is paved. Restrooms are controlled access with a code provided when making reservations. Verizon cell and data are good. WiFi is free and one of the best we have encountered. Campground WiFi speeds: Ping 23 ms, download 12.63 Mbps and upload 14.05 Mbps. Electrical is good and stable. Only 30 amp and 20 amp are available, but good voltage levels at 123v with no load and 117v with a 25 amp load. One block south of the campground are two small lakes. There is a picnic pavilion and playground across the street next to lake. There are walking trails all around the lakes. You can also walk to 'downtown'. Bikes can also be rented here. No large trees so satellite reception is great. There are 13 FHU sites, 7 tent sites with electric, 7 RV dry camping sites and a overflow area. Spacing between sites is close. Site 12 has the most privacy and the largest grass area. It is located next to the Bath house/restrooms. No a problem with noise. Fire wood is provided with a voluntary donation for it. There is a dump station with a fee of $10. Overall a great little campground and only $20 per night. If our travels bring us back to this area, we will be back to this campground. We camped at Antigo Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Antigo is large enough to have most all the national fast food restaurants, chain stores and chain auto parts stores. There is a Super Walmart about 2 miles from this campground and a Menard's west of Walmart. Saturdays there is a Farmer's Market from 8AM to Noon and a flea market at the county fairgrounds.

Nice little campground. All sites blacktop and level. Several new sites were being constructed. We were only here one night and were the only ones there at the time. Close to walking trails, with a factory across the street but it was quiet at night. Clean restrooms and showers. Free firewood available! We would stay again when passing through. We camped at Antigo Lake RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This RV park appears to be a smallish, blacktop parking lot with hookups. No privacy, and nothing attractive. A baseball field behind it, and a factory directly across the street. It is convenient to town, and if I had relatives or business to conduct in Antigo, this park would come in handy for an overnight stay. Since we were vacationing and wanted something nicer, we didn't stay. We camped at Antigo Lake RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

We stayed here almost 2 weeks while visiting the general area. This is a great little city campground, convenient to walking/biking trails and is clean and well-maintained. The city staff is very accommodating and helpful if you need anything. Reservations can now be made through the city's web site. The free wifi was quite reliable. Restaurants and a grocery store are within walking distance. A Walmart and Menard's are also within a couple miles. Full hookup campgrounds seem to be in short supply in this area of Wisconsin, so we consider it to be a great find if you are in the area. Campground drive and sites are all paved and very level. Electrical hookup is at the middle of the, so be sure to park so that your electric cord will reach. Some sites have fire rings. We camped at Antigo Lake RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a small RV park next to a town park. There is a lake nearby you can fish in. The road and sites are paved. Sites are first come/first served; no reservations. All sites are full hookup except for one which is water/sewer only. It is right in town so it is very quiet. There is a playground in the park across the street. We stayed here for one night. Good place to stay while you're doing something in town, or just want a place to stop for the night. We camped at Antigo Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.
