Sep 2017 - $25.00
Beautiful county park. We stayed in lot 44 and had excellent DISH tv service. Verizon cell and internet service also excellent. Quite a few beautiful trees, though, so not all sites would have good reception. We needed 50' electrical cord and 50' water hose to reach the utilities. Site was a level asphalt pad. The boat ramp, beach, and playground looked wonderful, however we didn't use them. Due to off season, the snack bar wasn't open, but looked great. We would definitely stay here again if passing through. - Cindy Sue

I stayed here for two nights (over the weekend) while passing through in a 27 foot motorhome with a tow car. This is a large county park and campground with lots of amenities for weekend campers. It was also wall to wall RVs, boats, trailers, cars, and people all weekend. There are no natural areas or hiking trails in the park or in the neighboring area. Only hiking trail is in town and runs next to an active railroad line. Campground has two loops -- the front loop along the lake which is grassy and open with trees and has paved pads and fairly spacious sites (many taken by seasonal campers) and the back loop which has dirt/grass sites and fills a corner near the roads. My site -- 59 -- was in the pine trees as were several other sites around me one of which a man with a fifth wheel never could fit in to. I liked my site. Very spacious and away from all the commotion although it did back up to a (little used) road. Other sites with higher numbers on the back loop are in the open and very tightly spaced. I had made an onsite reservation but my site wasn't marked reserved which was a little alarming since I arrived on a Friday. As others have noted the sites share electric poles and water spigots so you can be a LONG way away from your hookups. I was the only person in the campground with a tow car. Boating was the big draw as was the beach and the snack bar which is open till 10 pm and whose parking lot was jammed with cars and folk hanging about. No big rigs present. It worked as a place to spend a weekend while traveling but I wouldn't be back. Verizon was extended service but worked well. - SoloRed

Great campground that provides both electric and water on majority of sites. Located on large, full wake lake with sand beach and boat landing. Has many items available to rent like paddle boats, paddle boards, tennis rackets, and games. Also has a nice playground, gaga ball, outdoor foosball and outdoor pool. Sites are large and easy to maneuver in, some even have concrete pads. Camp store has lots of the necessities and snack bar has both hot food and treats. - 5thatdrive

Sep 2019 - $32.00
This campground is filled with seasonal campers with a few spots for travelers. Normal office person was not present and person who checked us in had a great deal of difficulty in figuring out which site we could be assigned and what the price would be. Our site was one of the seasonal sites-the previous camper had departed and was adequate for our stay. It was mostly on grass and there was ankle deep standing water when it rained. Seasonal sites are well kept and the seasonal campers we met were friendly. We did not use the bathhouse but we did use the laundry which had good machines and low prices. We also did not use the campground wifi as our Verizon hot spot worked well. Easy drive into Green Bay. - roadking
Aug 2019 - $32.00
I found the website for this campground while looking for something in or near Shawano, WI. The dates we needed were very popular due to lots of events, so I was glad to find a place with room. It was a great "accident"! Fawn Lake is a small lake just north of Shawano Lake, a popular resort area. It's part RV Park and part campground. The spaces are large, and most have some shade. Ours had shade on 2 sides with the road and another site on the other sides. In addition to clean bathrooms and showers, there is a playground, volleyball net, horse shoes and games in the office/community building. There is a small store in the office, and the WiFi is free there. WiFi is not available at the camp sites. There is also a laundry at the office building. The owners are very friendly and helpful, as were the seasonal residents. The only reasons I didn't give it a 10 were that some of the sites are a long way from the bathrooms (many residents use golf carts) and a lot of the gravel on our site had worn away so that we tracked a lot of sand into our trailer. It was really a mess after the rain. Fawn Lake is small with a beach and swimming area. Some people had kayaks on it (no motors allowed). It's really a friendly, quiet place to spend a few days or more. The prices are very reasonable, too. We had full hook ups. Water and electric only: $26, and no hook ups: $20. - Eldereaglewatchers

Asphalt parking lot with electrical boxes. Check in is at the hotel. Just electric cost was $21 with $5 dollar free play on players club card. Parking lot is not level. Would stay again if in area. - steveeee
May 2009 - $15.00
It is all asphalt. No place to take the dog. No picnic tables. This is a big parking lot with a electric box. Husband says there is not any level ground. Received five dollars in match play, free continental breakfast in restaurant located in the casino and a $2.00 restaurant coupon. - SallyJack172
Oct 2007 - $15.00
Great, cheap place to stop off for a day or 2 to get a few hours rest and do some gambling. At only $15/night for electrical its a great value. Not exactly the type of place to stay for a period of time but nice if you want to do some gambling. $5 coupon per person to use in the casino was included with our stay. Great restaurant inside casino. - Jason & Jennifer

Jul 2019 - $10.00
Most sites are very shaded, most are fairly level, on sandy soil. Majority of sites are up on a hill in trees. Great park for TT and smaller rigs. Not many with FHU, even less have 50A AND FHU. Gets really full on weekends, so arriving mid week will give best site choice. Nice pool and spa. Bathrooms are not very clean; trash cans are not emptied too often. Only one dumping site, which is "up the hill" with a tight turn. Although restaurant on site, did not use since it was also a bar. Swim beach on the lake with small boat rentals available. We used the parking lot next to bathroom to avoid bird droppings on our towed. River floating within 20 min drive. - wheelen jv
Jul 2018 - $10.00
Hard to navigate up to full service sites with 43 ft fifth wheel. Limited full service sites and not nearly enough bathrooms for a full park. One toilet stayed plugged up all weekend. Office staff couldn't even tell you where an RV parts store was. Hot tub was pretty dirty. No WiFi. - Rbrownea
May 2018 - $45.00
This was the best camping trip we have ever been on. We arrived on a Saturday about 1 pm. The lots were very spacious and we could pick anyone we wanted. They have kayaks, paddle boats, and canoes you can check out and use. They have an indoor heated pool and a hot tub besides the lake. they are very kid friendly and pet friendly. They even have a dog beach. Are vehicles battery died and they brought a charger right to our site, so that we did not have to worry about how we were going to get it started when it was time to leave. We tried all the amenities including eating at the thirsty whale wow they had awesome food reasonably priced. - sexyteddy

200 sites.
This camp is seasonal family, with about 90% fulltimers. Great place for family summer! Overnighters, just okay. Our site was elec-water only and mostly sandy dirt with a hard unlevel lean to passenger side. Wifi was $2 a night for one device. Tv was Air with 4 channels. Restrooms new and nice. Showers a quarter, huh? $46 for the night and you still need a quarter? Really. Okay, would stay here again, anyway. - Sir_Charles395
Oct 2015 - $25.00
Stay at this campground at least 3 times per year. Have a lot of full-timers but enough for us occasional campers. Nice little park, clean and always upgrading. Has a trail for dogs to run. Many events throughout the year. We really like staying here and you will too. - gwinn1952
Jul 2014 - $46.00
This is a family friendly park with lots of seasonal guests. The park is pet friendly. There is a nice pool and a beach(which we didn't see). There is a game room, a playground and miniature golf. There is a nice little store in the office but I was surprised to find it closed at 5 pm, especially since check in wasn't until 3 with an additional fee if you checked in early. The laundry was clean and reasonably priced. Wi-Fi is available but only free for 1/2 an hour. After that it is $2 for 24 hours and apparently it doesn't reach all sites. We were given sit L1 which is right outside the office and pool and across from the laundry and game room. It is used for guests just staying over night like we were. It was a nice spot because it was a weekday but I wouldn't touch it on a crowded weekend. There are no discounts to the rate so it is a bit steep for 2 adults just looking for a place to stop for the night but if you were a family who would enjoy all the amenities the park offered it would be reasonable. - Connie's Co-Owner

Aug 2018 - $55.00
We stayed here as we have a family friend in the area that we wanted to visit. We liked that it had a swimming pond as well as a water park like inflatable pond. For $10 you get enough wood for two days. We had a pull thru site that was spacious for a pull thru site. The site didn't have sewer but they do have a dump station. The site was level, all I had to do was pull in and unhook. As stated before plan to pay extra if you kids want to enjoy any of the aspects of the campground outside of the swimming pond. Overall it was a good stay and a place we will use again when we are visiting friends in the area. - haplo777
Jul 2016 - $45.00
This park has a lot going for it as it includes an artificial swimming pond that has sand all around it. It is shallow on one side as well as on the edges. We had a pull thru site and for a pull thru it was very spacious. Our site was on the edge of a interior road and we had a lot of golf cart traffic well into the night and again early in the morning. Seems that golf carts are a big part of the experience here though I would rather walk. The site was very level and I didn't need to do any leveling. The campground delivers wood to your site and for $10 we got enough wood for two days so that was a great value. The bathrooms were decent and the showers worked great for us with a young son including have hot water. They also have a bar/pub on site, beach volleyball, and horseshoe pits.
The part that kind of bothered me is the adults in the site get free access to everything in the park. If your children would like access to the extra activities in the park it is an additional cost. They need a special wrist band for $20 to be able to use the bounce pillow, inflatable water park, the fishing pond/paddle boats area. Of course anyone that has kids are going to want this extra access band.
Check in was rather crazy as well as they could not find our reservation but after looking through the list three times they finally found it. In other campgrounds we have been in, they seem way more prepared at check in.
Overall we had a lot of fun, appreciated the spacious site and we would certainly go back. I enjoyed the swimming pond the most and the fact that the site was fairly spacious for a pull thru. - Schultefam

Sep 2019 - $15.00
I pulled into the main parking area & asked a security guard where the electric sites were, he told me he didn't think there were any open spots & if not to park in the main lot. There were no electric sites opened, it looked like people were living here. I parked in the back of the main lot with a couple of old RV's a pickup truck camper & several semi trucks. We had a quite night , no traffic or shopping carts flying around! I will stop here in the future. - Joe Sr
Aug 2019 - $15.00
The sites are paved, marked off on the shoulder on a semi busy 2 lane road that goes around behind the casino. People park nose to tail or nose to nose. I was in site 9 where I could get my roof mounted dish locked on to a satellite. It is right across from the airport but only a few passenger jets take off daily. The earliest I ever heard one was before 6 AM and the latest going on 11 PM. Depending on the length of your RV and where you park there might not be room for your toad. If so there is plenty of parking but you will have to walk to your vehicle. Security on foot, bike or vehicle passes by quite often. - mrracechaser
Aug 2016 - $15.00
Electric only. There are 10 sites: 2 with 50A, 8 with 30A, located behind the bingo hall/casino, parallel parked on a short road with grassy area alongside the sites. Just barely enough room for our 38' rig and car parked across the front of the rig. Well lit, patrolled often. Security officer friendly and helped a camp neighbor fix a flat on his trailer. Trash located near the sites. No reservations accepted, must park and pay inside the bingo hall/casino. I called ahead to make sure there were some spots open. Good cheap stay for small cost. Worked well for a couple nights. Located across from the airport, but we weren't bothered by the noise. - MissMyGolden

Nice place. My mistake on this trip was I left my fishing gear home Creek below the falls has trout and I would assume bass, pike etc above. Very friendly and competent young lady in the office. Real nice walk around the park, over the hwy bridge and back. There is a bar/restaurant @ 2 blocks away which is fine if unclean doesn't bother you. - Homawy

Jul 2019 - $30.00
Nice clean park. Full hookups but no cable. Was able to get satellite TV on site #2 but would be difficult on other sites due to the trees. Rate was $30 with $10 free play on the players club card. Casino with washrooms was a short walk away. Would return if in area. - steveeee
Jul 2018 - $31.00
We stayed one night passing through. As others have said, it's a clean, well maintained park. No amenities. There are port a potties only. Sites are close on the back cause you share a hookup pedestal. But plenty of room on the front. The cable didn't work. We couldn't get any over the air channels and couldn't get satellite due to the trees. Gas station out front with enough room our rig to fill up. You have to go to the hotel front desk to register. There is a bus lane there or there is a vacant lot by the RV Park you can park in and walk over to the hotel. Food at the casino is ok. About what you would expect. Hard to beat $30 for a night. Plus they give you 10 in free play for the casino. Plenty of grass to walk the dog. - Patricia57
Aug 2017 - $29.00
This place was perfect for an overnight stop. Nice level pull-thru sites in a wooded area right next door to the casino. There are no amenities and even the bathrooms are just port-a-potties. You can walk the 1 minute walk to the casino for regular bathrooms. Power was fine and the water pressure was really good for a nice shower in the rig. Although there is a cable TV hook-up it does not work. However, I was able to pull in all of the major stations with my OTA antenna. WIFI only inside the casino. One note, if you follow your GPS, you need to turn onto County Rd Q at the big interchange. Both of our GPS units had us turning about a quarter mile past where we should turn. - akeller156
