Jul 2017 - $35.00
Excellent new owners of the property. They took over a month ago. Had 1/2 service site, dump was available upon request. View of beautiful lake Gordon. Pizza was excellent. Will definitely come back! - Tiffany Caudell
Aug 2016 - $25.00
Mostly seasonals. Campground ok, but owners absent. No quiet hours - people next to us were out/about till after midnight. Dogs not leashed, so walking around poop was a hazard. Mosquitoes were HORRIBLE. 20-30 would swarm in every time you opened the door. There was supposedly a dump station, but I couldn't find it. Would not stay again. - DYK 640
Jul 2015 - $25.00
Site was not level, but owner assisted in leveling. This is a small park with only a few sites. Good location to visit Copper Falls State Park. $3.00 charge to use dump station that I thought was tacky. Why not add some charge to nightly charge? Park was on a small lake and boat rental was available. We would stay here again. - 1coloradan
Jun 2011 - $100.00
My husband and I had a great time at this resort! I have, off and on been visiting this resort for more than 10 years. This is my husband's first visit here and not 24 hours into our 7 night stay he wanted to book again next year! Great owners who are willing to bend over backwards for you to make sure your stay is 100% relaxing! The negative comment left is no were near the truth of this little piece of heaven! - Stefanie
Jun 2011 - $23.00
Not only has our family camped in Wildwood Haven’s campground many times, but we have stayed in their cabins as well. The cabins are clean, comfortable, with fully stocked kitchens (you will need to bring your own towels). The owners are wonderful people with a lovely family. We can’t say enough about this wonderful "jewel in the woods." The sound of the loons will be your alarm clock in the morning, and send you off to sleep at night. We have never seen sunsets so beautiful as we have sitting on the lake in the evening. Bring your camera! We will be back again next year. Counting the days until we can enjoy this place again. Thanks Wildwood Haven for another great vacation. - Chip Messiner
Aug 2015 - $20.00
We enjoyed our stay at the Hines Park Campground very much. The grounds are well kept by the city, and there is good security. The park is located on the east bank of the North Fork of the Flambeau River, known for great fishing. There is a large pier for fishing and a boat launch. 9 paved sites with water and electric are first come first served. Restrooms are open to the public and are somewhat dated. The city of Park Falls has a dump station at the nearby public works building. This park is close to a paper mill, so there is some background noise. A great playground for children, basketball court, lighted walking path, and access to ATV trails. - Organic1
Jun 2017 - $25.00
We where supposed to have arrived on a Thursday for our reservations, however do to a break down our arrival was not until late Friday evening. The state park office staff was friendly and very understanding. There is only 1 dump station and water station. We found our site quickly and got set up for the evening. Very quiet location. No local TV channels to be found. The trees where covered with leaves so no satellite either. Communicate worked via Verizon only. If you want solitude, and alone time this would work. - Dcrbeloit
Sep 2015 - $45.00
It is hard to understand that the sites with electric had nasty, smelly, pit toilets and the showers were half a mile away. The sites were OK but you has to pay $10 for your car, $10 for electricity and $25 for camping. We have stayed in much nicer private campgrounds for less and got clean restrooms and showers near the sites. - PF Churchill
Jul 2015 - $17.00
This is a beautiful State Park in a wooded setting. This campground has several hiking trails that include a few waterfalls. Our site was shaded and had a fire ring and table with generous space. There are nice showers and toilets with running water as well as pit toilets available. We sighted several deer and other wildlife in the park, including a bear! - User3016
Jun 2016 - $20.00
We have enjoyed camping at Smith Lake County Park and Campground in previous years, but sadly it has gone completely downhill.
Since there is no camp host on site to enforce rules, there are many dogs off leash and people partying well into the night.
This campground is primarily locals, and they bring their friends and neighbors. Since the campsites are first come first served, locals put chairs into the sites they want several days in advance. Do not expect to find an available site on weekends or holidays.
Verizon is 1-2 bars and antenna tv reception is non-existent. The only way to dull the sound of noisy neighbors and ATV's is with AM radio.
This will be our last time at this park. - Organic1
Sep 2012 - $20.00
We enjoyed fishing and hiking. Connects to numerous trail systems for ATVs, and has an ATV unloading and loading ramp. Bathrooms very clean. 3 miles to town. Free firewood provided in 8' lengths. Campsites cannot be reserved. - Organic1
