Jun 2018 - $25.00
Very small city campground with lots of long term folks. All friendly. Pay for wifi. Cash or check in envelope at ay station for your site. I made reservations ahead of time and if you go I recommend that you do as well. We had the last spot. There is a golf course adjacent to park. - cchall112
Sep 2016 - $27.00
We have stayed here several times for one night; it is a convenient half way point on one of our usual trips.
The rates have gone up $2 a night since our last visit.
There are several open sites tonight but it is mid-week. All the sites that we drove by are reserved for this weekend.
We like this place. We will stay here again, I am sure. - skigramp
Jul 2015 - $22.00
This is a nice city operated campground. It's a few miles south and west of I94 and within easy driving distance of Eau Claire, about 30 minutes away. There are basically two sections of the campground. The older section consists of sites 1-21. These sites are grass camping spots with plenty of trees and a feeling of privacy. They are also water/electric only. Sites 22-42 are developed gravel campsites offering full hookups. There aren't as many trees, but a few of the sites look out over the upper portion of the lake. Many of the others border a big open grassy area that has a mown park-like feel. There are restroom/shower buildings in both sections of the park as well a big children's playground and two volleyball courts - these get a lot of use by the locals. Adjacent to the campground and, in fact, right next to several of the campsites in the older section of the campground is a nice nine-hole golf course. If a person likes to golf they can basically walk out of their camper and onto a fairway. My Verizon 4G worked well and since we were backed up to a wide open field I had no problem at all getting a satellite signal. Also worth mentioning is that the campground has excellent WiFi, a rare find in most any campground. - nazpaz

This park was quite a surprise. It is excellently planned out, developed, and maintained. Paved roads are wide. Sites are gravel and each has a concrete patio. Sites are large and lots of trees give a sense of privacy. There is a lot of open space, wooded space, and activities. There are lots of activities for both young and older kids including pool, very impressive skate park, air bag, mini-golf, pond with beach, basketball court, and a laser tag field. But even if you don't have kids, this place is great. There is a lot of obvious pride in this place and I really enjoyed a short stay. I'd stay longer if back in the area. - MWM
Aug 2019 - $50.00
Of all the RV Parks we have short-term stayed in over the past year, Stoney Creek was the best. Express check-in (we didn't have to get out of our vehicle), wide roads and level sites with lots of room on either side. Many excellent amenities for families, plenty of space to walk our dog and walk around the park ourselves. Very clean and well maintained. Our site had good internet and satellite reception. The park is away from bright lights and the stars are so bright you feel like you can reach out and touch them. Excellent store and a snack bar with a nice menu. Overall we had a great stay and will definitely come again. - Wagging Trails
Jul 2019 - $50.00
I tried submitting this last night but It wouldn't take because of some glitch (a message with 3 or 4 capital letters) with in this site. We haven't been here in about 10 years. As others have noted, because of all the recreational amenities, this is a great park for families. We were happy to get a pull through, FHU site for one weeknight just before the 4th of July. Since our site was satellite friendly, we didn't bother with the cable TV. The WiFi was adequate for our minimal (e-mail and web surfing) needs. The laundry facility and bathrooms were clean but we didn't use the showers because you had to pay for them. The staff was helpful and there is recycling. - Jerry S

Jul 2014 - $30.00
I am afraid this "resort" gets the award for the worst campground we have stayed at-ever! First of all, it is NOT a resort, basically a bunch of campsites set in a pine thicket with a bar in the middle. Most people who were there were full time 'summer people'. The road getting there is very, very crooked and narrow, not big rig friendly at all. When I checked in, I asked if they had clean, hot showers, 'oh yes', the lady proprietor assured me. We decided not to unhook to go back down the very crooked road to town to get a bite to eat, so elected to eat at the bar. Very expensive food that was ok at best. We later wished we'd just gone back to town for a meal. The 'clean showers' were a joke, two unisex rooms with a toilet, sink and open shower(no shower curtain), tacked onto the back of the bar. Someone had seen fit to steal all the toilet tissue, so had to provide our own. Apparently the 'full timers' living there use them as their own, as their personal toiletries were scattered all over shower room. Floor was bare concrete, and nasty, nasty, nasty. I hated to even sit my shower bag on the floor, particularly since the entire floor gets wet from the open shower. Overall, just a awful, nasty experience for what I had been assured was a 'very clean, hot shower' by the proprietor. We couldn't wait to get up the next morning and get out of there and find something better. Definitely not worth the price they charge to stay at the 'resort'. - Southwest Travelers

Oct 2018 - $45.00
We stayed here for just under three months in late summer of 2018. This is a nice family oriented park with mostly seasonal spots, but enough weekend spots to fill up fairly quickly.
This campground is family owned. There is a ton of activity for the entire family, including alot of outdoor games for kids and adult events at the bar. The people here are very nice. Staff was professional if not overly friendly. Bar food and drink is very good. - Aimee K
Aug 2007 - $25.00
This campground is considered a "party campground" by local residents. We went with 2 other families and unfortunately picked "Poker Run - Harley Motorbikes" weekend. Not many campgrounds in the area have weekend openings so we went anyway. Despite some obvious problems (loud bar & a band playing till midnight) we had a good time. The pool was clean (someone told us the state just made them clean it- that makes me wonder). The bathrooms were fair - older - only 1 house and they were a bit grimy but usable. The playground was older but my kids still had fun. The Black river was awesome and kept all the children occupied the whole day. We fished but didn't catch anything, we swam, and built many sand creations. I would go again to give this place another chance. - travlin-with-tots

Sep 2018 - $42.00
Overnite stay. The out of stater price was an $11 fee plus $31/ nite so price wise $42, much over priced. The north cg was itself a nice paved loop with gravel mostly level sites well spaced with electric post at back side of site. Lots of nice grass and trees. Only 2 water non threaded water faucets. Didn't use the bath house. A short trail to a lake inlet. A close by train track. There is a dump between the 2 campgrounds we didn't use. We drove through the south cg long loop which is a distance away and is mostly small short sites for tents, without electricity. The middle of the south loop is basically a swamp. - 210jem
May 2017 - $26.00
The 322 arce park is located on the Mississippi backwaters and has a boat launch and separate canoe/kayak launch. There are also very reasonably priced canoe/kayak rentals. The park also includes a nature center, 2 miles of hiking trails, picnic areas, a playground, canoe/kayak trail and excellent fishing opportunities. There are 3 campgrounds with a total of 65 sites. There are 22 sites with electric, all are in the north campground where the shower building is also located. The south campground has 35 sites, 18 on the water and 10 with water access across the road. The only downside is that there is a very active rail line running close to the park. You can actually feel the ground vibrate in the north campground. However, we stay here every Memorial day and after a while you get used to the rail traffic. - Snayte

Aug 2019 - $47.00
Very well kept RV park, with very large, grass sites. Fire ring and picnic table at each site. We were there to visit friends and relatives in the area so we didn't use the facilities. The section we were in had young trees, so no real shade available. The only negatives we encountered were monetary in nature. Expensive (in our opinion) at $47/night for 30 amp with water, but no sewer (dump station is available). They do have FHU, deluxe pull through sites for over $60/night. Was surprised to be told when we arrived around 1 p.m. that there was a $5 charge for arriving early (before 2 p.m.). - donpen
Aug 2018 - $44.00
Wonderful experience! The owner is so nice and helpful! She really wants her guests to be happy and have a good time! The grounds are nicely landscaped, they have a great playground, basketball, volleyball, horse shoes, and cabana with wifi. A HUGE clean swimming pond! We really enjoyed that! The trees around the property are mature and beautiful! - tammiann61
Aug 2018 - $55.00
Very pricy quiet mostly seasonal campground that only allows 1 night during the week when there is very few people there. Weekend requires 2 nights. Grass and dirt sites that are at back of campground next to storage area for overnighters. They have a sand beach and pool? next to restrooms and pay showers which is why showers are dirty. Good electric water and sewer locations. Excellent Wi-Fi and OTA channels but no cable. Good for a overnighter. - Biggyrat

Nov 2015 - $17.00
The weekend we were here was a very busy weekend, but was quiet at the same time. The campsites were of decent size, but giving you privacy from others. Shower/bathroom houses were old, but were kept clean. The ladies room ran out of toweling and hand soap, and some people left their children's dirty diapers on the floor next to the trash bins, which has was rather unpleasant. On a good note, there are plenty of walking trails and scenic areas for picture taking. Canoe rentals are available to paddle around on the Mississippi plus there is swimming allowed (but no beach front) as one would dive in around the boat docks. Beautiful sunsets. One final statement - the speed limit is 10mph and drivers need to slow down as there are a lot of curves going around the campsites and children playing or riding bikes, and some drivers come flying around the curves much higher faster than they should. Overall, I will stay here again. Lot spacing is nearby and mostly shady. Site surface is gravel, dirt and grass; featuring a fire ring and picnic table. - SerenityFix
Aug 2015 - $17.00
This is a beautiful park on the Mississippi River. Our campsite was partially shaded with a picnic bench and a fire ring. There are two nice bathrooms with shower facilities and several pit toilets throughout the campgrounds. There are several hiking and biking trails as well as canoe and kayak rentals. The roads are paved and sites are easy to access. This is definitely a park we will return to in the near future. - User3016
Jun 2015 - $29.00
Bathrooms were very dirty. The men's stunk to high heaven! Only had two shower houses and they were too far to walk to and dirty as well. There was a wasp nest up in the electrical box that was was decent size with a wasp on it. Was not an enjoyable experience. Won't be back. - Lisa Hagee

Great events - live music on a houseboat! Friendly, a bit of a hip vibe. Lovely gardens, right on the river and in the park. - Summerstock
Jul 2019 - $35.00
Since I was here 3 years ago the electrical has been updated with all new pedestals. There used to be a water line laying on the ground between the sites at the back of the site. Now there are 4 by 4 posts that are maybe 60 feet apart that have 4 spigots. So you might need extra hoses. Some muddy spots when it rains but the sites are all pretty level. Site 103 has a view of the tributary of the Miss River. Some train noise but not bad. Bring bug spray. - mrracechaser
Jul 2016 - $29.00
Rate seemed fair for water and electric only. Site was big and lake side; there were no unexpected extra fees.
A little confusing finding site; explanation was rushed and confusing. - Travelor

Sep 2019 - $39.00
This park looks fantastic. There are a lot of mature trees, and flowers everywhere. It is a beautiful place to walk around. If you follow the road to the upper part and keep going, they have mowed a path around a large area planted in native prairie plants. A minor complaint is that the pull-through we had in the lower part of the campground was a "buddy site", as they all were in that area. Rigs park in opposite directions, so your door faces your neighbors door. Great if you are camping with friends, but not so private if you are not. They did tell me that in advance, but the park was full and there was no other choice. If I go back again, which is quite probable, I will try to get one of the upper spaces. Verizon worked here. - JA1800
Aug 2019 - $37.00
We stayed in this CG a year ago going to and coming from Minnesota, so we were glad it was in our path again this year. Only 3 miles off interstate. Owner very friendly and drove us to our site. CG is well kept. Cable worked well and wifi is available. Plenty of room between sites. - kimandcindy
Aug 2019 - $41.00
Great park about 4 miles off the freeway and quiet - very nice people who take pride in their park - we like the lower area that has a little more shade than the upper lever - had a full hook up site with cable Lots of rain over night but the staff were out regrading the roads at 8:00 the next morning and picking up tree limbs - we had see the same quick action a year ago when we stayed here and a storm hit. - rr2254545
