Great staff, friendly and courteous. Site was a pull through, nice and level. The park is set way back from the highway so it is very quiet. I would stay there again. We camped at Top O' The Morn Resort & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This campground is set in the trees along the banks of Iron Lake. It feels like you are in a state park. Very natural and shady. The roads and sites are gravel and when it is dry it is dusty. It looked like all the overnighter sites where right there in front of the office. The seasonal sites were all along the hillside and down in the woods and along the lake. Very nice. I would have liked one of those sites and avoid the dust from the road, but I was only there for one night. Office was helpful and friendly. I would stay here again. We camped at Top O' The Morn Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

In May we tried to reserve a weekend here for late June but found the CG was already pretty booked up. The owners were very responsive and placed us on a wait list for any last minute cancellations but ultimately we could only have one night there on an electric/water site. Our location actually placed us right in amongst a seasonal family and we felt as though we would be encroaching on their space if we sat outside. Not the fault of anyone, just our feeling. The site we did have was an old but fairly level concrete pad that we squeezed our 40' 5er on to. It was nicely shaded and had a large grassy space but like I mentioned, merged in to our neighbours fire pit and green space. The hosts/owners or managers (not sure) were very responsive and tried hard to find us a serviced space but due to the popularity of this location we could only have the one night. Power and water was very good and their wi-fi was excellent. There are some really nice locations within the CG which also has access to a lake in which you can swim, water-ski, kayak or canoe. The CG is far enough from Hwy 2 that you cannot hear it and no trains! We didn't try for any tv stations and don't have satellite. There is an on-site bar and laundry that we didn't make use of. The washrooms were older but clean, located behind the office/bar area and accessible 24/7. This is very much a family orientated CG but still quiet enough for a couple in their mid 50's with no kids or pets and we would definitely stay here again. We camped at Top O' The Morn Resort & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed just one night but would not mind going back in the future for a bit longer stay. Owners were very friendly. Campground was very clean and there several well placed can and trash disposal sites to encourage that. I have to admit that this was the first RV park we have ever stayed at with on an onsite bar. We camped at Top O' The Morn Resort & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

I cannot say enough great about this campground. The owners are fantastic. There are a lot of seasonal units with several for the weekender. We started out in site 27, which was a very tight fit, but once situated, we were just fine. Gravel sites and pretty level. The owner asked us if we wanted to move to a different site for a few days, which was down on the lake. We did and it was incredible. Another very level site. Wifi is spotty at best. The have a nice swimming area, boat rentals and a small bar. There is a nice field for volleyball or kickball along with a small playground for younger kids. We will for sure be back!! This park is primarily a seasonal campground located on a small lake with a few sites for overnight campers. The seasonal sites were very well maintained and all the campers we met while there were very friendly. I ask for a shady site and the owners were accommodating and placed me on a site that I think was a seasonal site that was unoccupied. We were going to spend just one night but enjoyed the campground so much that we spent an extra night. Our site was an electric water site that was dirt and grass. We stayed in a large pull thru site with water and 30 amp. Lots of trees but overhead branches were not an issue. The wifi was good and the owners were friendly and helpful. Our site was dirt/grass but very level. This park has a lot of well maintained seasonal sites. We camped at Top O' The Morn Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

The physical facilities were very good. What made this an outstanding visit were the staff!!! Without question the people were the nicest, most cordial and cooperative I have encountered in my RVing life. The day after we left, I could not find my iPad. I thought I had thrown in out with a bunch of newspapers at the RV park. I called them and they got in the trash container to look for it. That In my opinion is above and beyond the call of duty AND they, as Big 10 Badger fans knew I was a Buckeye. I will go out of my way to see this young couple and their great lakeside wooded quiet resort. We camped at Top O' The Morn Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Price reflects one week stay on a pull thru site with 30 amp electric, water, no sewer. Interior roads are gravel, sites are grass/gravel/dirt/sand. Allows campfires. Able to get 5 channels on the TV antenna. WiFi worked very well. Some tree branches need cut back. Voltage and water pressure was very low at times. Easy in and out with a HDT & trailer. (60 foot combo) We camped at Top O' The Morn Resort & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

New owners very accommodating. Campground has 48 "seasonal" RVs, 13 over nighters, & 4 cabins. Seasonals have rvs in place, porches, gardens, neat, come for weekend as second home. Beautiful grounds, lake, can rent party boat or fishing boat. Absolutely no mosquitoes and way back in the forest/woods. WiFi strong. If you are a Verizon user, no cell service, no hotspot, not just here, but in the town of Iron River. It's all ATT. Right next to ATV trails. Quiet, friendly. On weekends, organized activities for children. We were in an open site, not under trees and had satellite TV. We stayed 4 nights. pull thru, FHU, not too spacious, but not so crowded you felt uncomfortable. We camped at Top O' The Morn Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Most sites in this park are seasonal, which means the campground is quiet during the week, busy on the weekends. Our site was grass, level, with good hookups. The wifi didn't work and we had a very poor Verizon broadband signal. Owners were friendly and helpful. OK park. We would stay here again if we needed to be in the area. We camped at Top O' The Morn Resort & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for four nights over a weekend. The park was full; everyone was friendly and quiet. We were in the pull-through sites in the center, not too scenic as the sites are lined up close to each other. The rest of the park is more spread out and has lots of trees and grassy areas. New owners took over the park this year and seem to be nice. We had no Verizon strength and their Wi-Fi worked on and off. This part of Wisconsin is out of the way; we would come back if we were in the area. We camped at Top O' The Morn Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a great campground with grassy sites on a beautiful lake. It was off the highway, so there was no road noise. There is good signage, which was great because the owner said that GPS will lead you astray. It was full of campers but there weren't very many people around. We were told that locals leave their campers at the park and come up on the weekend. This is a popular ATV area so we're glad we stayed here during the week when it was peaceful and quiet. Wi-Fi was sketchy but we were close enough to the office to get some reception; no cable TV. We camped at Top O' The Morn Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed at Top O' The Morn from Aug.4th thru Aug10th, 2012. We used this campground as home base to see sites in northwest Wisconsin and Minnesota. Approx 40 miles to Bayfield (Appostle Islands), Hayward, and Superior. This is a very, very clean and well maintained campground. Open and shaded sites are available. Swimming beach is very nice. The manager and his wife make you feel right at home. We camped at Top O' The Morn Resort & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
