The park is an older park, with trees that make it very difficult for a larger unit. There are only 3 travel sites, the rest are seasonal. The restaurant/bar is clean and they have a great fish fry. The bathrooms are very old, but clean for their age. The owners are truck drivers, so they are only around Wednesday thru Saturday. This is a diamond in the rough, don't be scared by it if you can fit into the sites. - JasonW

I reviewed this park 2 years ago, and it's still a great get away. There are now 2 drive through sites, numbers 22 and 23. The shower building was closed for some kind of maintenance one of the 3 days we were there, but the pit toilets are clean and not smelly. The sites could use some additional gravel. Cornell, WI, only a few miles south, has all the services you might need and some good restaurants. - Eldereaglewatchers

Best campground we have visited so far. Our site (#15) was spacious with a great view of the river. The campground was also very quiet even though there were plenty of children around. Amazingly the beach was not crowded considering it was a gorgeous day in July. Would visit this park again! - rv_newbies

This was our first RV trip, which we took as a learning experience with our new RV. The park is located on an island in the Chippewa River in NW Wisconsin. There are 2 campgrounds - one with 24 sites that have electricity and a larger one without electricity. We chose electricity, because it was hot, but the primitive campground (had water) was even more beautiful. All campers can use the showers. There are walking trails, a beach, canoe and kayak rentals. All sites are pretty well shaded. The ones on our side of the campground have views of the river. - Eldereaglewatchers

Nice small park, 24 sites only 4 night at a time sites. Great owner's. All of the seasonal campers that I talked to were very friendly. I will be back the Lord willing. There is a trail through the woods to walk the dog. If you stay six nights the seventh is free. Nice restrooms and a game room, one set of washer and dryer. - Shiftless

We stayed for 5 days while attending a nearby wedding. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The cost was really reasonable for full hookups and was a nice space with beautiful grass. My husband looked at the restrooms and said they were spotless. The other campers were mostly long-term seasonal so it was really quiet. They offered ice and wood for a small cost. The camp had a really nice playground and an area to gather and picnic. The restroom building had foosball and air hockey game tables. - mountainfan
