Jun 2015 - $20.00
Hi... just wanted to update to the other reviews. High Cliff finally was able to get the money to upgrade the electrical sites from 30 amp to 50 amp now. No more tripping breakers! Also the bathrooms got a good sprucing up with new paint, new flooring, better showers and fixtures and sinks. Much nicer. As good as they can get on the limited state budget. Note.. do NOT follow GPS to the park, it leads to an old entrance that has been closed for over 10 years and is not usable. Take 114 just west of Sherwood and go south on State Park Road to the park. Follow signs. We especially love this park because it is shaded and cool in the summer months. - kareninthewoods

We stayed in site 92 while our friends camped in 90. Both are in the outer left loop. They are pretty far from the only shower room/rest rooms, but pit toilets are not far. Overflow parking is directly across the road from 92 but while we were there, we were the only ones to use it (for our toad).
Both sites are beautifully tree-filled, which is true of the entire campgrounds. Our sites were level and most others seemed level too. There are double sites for those wanting to share a site.
Being on the outer extreme of the campground, we had easy access to the walking/bike trail and rode to a lookout each night to watch the sunset. It was an easy 5 minute ride and was walkable too. The hiking trails are easily accessible too. The Lime Kiln Trail can be muddy, so wear sturdy shoes.
The campground is quiet, peaceful and clean. The bathrooms are cleaned daily between 12:30 and 2 pm and always looked neat. I would prefer each shower stall have more room to change within the stall but there is one that offers privacy if you are willing to wait for it.
Do not leave out any food or unsecured garbage as you may have raccoon visitors when the sun goes down.
We can't wait to go back! - We_love_truck_camping

Camped at site #109. Great site, but 30 amp power kept tripping so we were forced to run extension cords into our RV using the two, 20 amp outlets. The park scenery is great, but the electrical problems (which I've written about before) continue. There's hope. High Cliff may get all its electric sites upgraded to 50 amp next year if there's enough money in the state budget. Fingers crossed. - zulu

Site 43 great spot tucked off alone with a lot of privacy. No water or sewer. Bathroom building near to our actual site did not have any showers. Park shower block a bit further away was a bit dirty and you have to pay for use. Fifty cents minimum for 3 mins. Stood a good minute waiting for water to warm (no taps to adjust just a jet on wall) then when it did, and I started showering, drain quickly blocked up & I was stood in pile of water. Staff @ store very young, need some customer service experience. Park along waterfront nice however had no trash cans at all, and one dog waste bin only. Led to lazy people over weekend use leaving rubbish we thought. Nice sunset views over the lake. - leemhicks
Oct 2016 - $25.00
One of my favorite campgrounds... Nice hiking trails and biking. Playground equipment for children is very nice too. - Escape2country
Jul 2013 - $20.00
Lovely little campground! Electric sites, BYO fresh water, although you can fill your tank at the camper registration/store. We stayed on Site 6, couldn't see the lake from our site, but the other sections had some views of the lake. Lots of nice landscaping and playgrounds for kids. Bathrooms/showers were clean, bring your quarters for the showers. Rangers were visible and polite. Fire pits were located kind of away from the site, which we liked a lot. Store had a few necessities. Dump station an extra $3. Some trails which we didn't do this time, but will try next time. Will definitely come back again. No real website for this place, you have to call to make reservations. And they are pretty busy, hard to get in. - CramerCamper

A really nice campground, we'll taken care of, we'll managed, quite, sites had enough room to get around and a super nice hostess. - Doc B
Aug 2018 - $33.00
The pluses are that it's close to the freeway, shops, outlets strip and restaurants. It's also quiet at night. Other than that we were disappointed. We originally reserved a pull thru but the owner changed it before our arrival to a back in. We had to unhook the dolly and car from our 35'. The site was all gravel and looked like a parking spot with water and electric hookup. The sites are haphazardly scattered on the grounds. Our neighbor was so close that his awning was a couple feet from our RV. The sun beat down on us during the day. The electric post was behind the RV. Lots of TV channels and Verizon and ATT cell work well. It was quite dusty, which I imagine would become muddy with rain. There is a small lake but the grounds around it are not well maintained. The owner was nice but we have definitely stayed in much nicer campgrounds for less money. We would look elsewhere if we came back. - Tammy7
Jul 2018 - $36.00
Stayed here during the EAA Airshow. You have to book far in advance for the show. Campground is small, has electric and water sites or dry camping. There is a dump station or owner will pump out your tanks for a fee. Our site was back-in, fairly level gravel and dirt. If it rains, puddles will form and areas get muddy but we had no trouble. There is a small lake to swim or fish in. An added bonus is the small airstrip on the property where we saw planes come and go. The campground is quiet. We would stay here again. - mohocamper

This cg has new owners and the web address is wrong. Garmin will take you to a school in town. So enter the address as it is correct. We arrived mid-week and the transcient area was empty. This area has extra large sites. Pads are gravel overgrown with grass. The power pole and water hookup is at the street. These sites are backin. There are no pull thru's. We pulled in to put the hookups (50/30 amp power and water) on the correct side of our 43' coach. Most sites are not level. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. There is no sewer hookup. There is a dump station by registration. The only restroom/showers are at registration. The registration/store is very well stocked. The pool is very nice and they also have a bar/grill. OTA tv has all the major stations plus. Satellite has zero obstructions. Great sunset views over Lake Winnebago. It is dark enough to see the Milky Way at night. There are many amenities to entertain children. The lack of sewer hook ups on the correct side doesn't support the cost. - rudy1
Sep 2016 - $41.00
We stayed one night on our way to Peninsula State Park, Door County, Wisconsin. We arrived on a Sunday evening and most camping spaces were vacant. Lots were very spacious. Only a few small trees in our area. We pulled into our site. No cable, no internet,no sewer. There was a distant view of Lake Winnebago. They have a pool which we did not use. We really liked the extra large dog park. However, if you have an escape artist he could get out in certain sections of the bottom of the fence. There was a large seasonal population in the wooded area. - Sunnie-Wheelhouse
Jul 2016 - $36.00
Lake View Campground was in a beautiful setting; however, I was very disappointed with the sites. Since we have a 40' Fifth Wheel, we were assigned site #130. Due to an embankment at the back of the site we were unable to fit! We chose site 126 and leveled up---but the slope was extreme. Some sites were level while others were worse than ours. Two piles of dog poop was on our site.
The wooded sites are the seasonal sites, and it appears that the open, grassy sites, where we stayed, are more like overflow sites.
By the way, the power and water in the Lakeview Circle Loop was at the front of each site.
Definitely overpriced!!!
We would not stay here again. - -Traveler-

Sep 2018 - $42.00
This was a nice campground with lots of woods. There was only one other guest staying there while we were there but it was 'off-season' for the campground as they stay busy during the summer months with the EAA activities and music festivals. Staff was not staying on-site during our stay but came in during the evenings to check on things. The bathhouse is nice with pay showers. - Melissa Koppenhaver
Jul 2018 - $39.00
This is a good park for attending nearby events. It's close to the EAA Museum which is a must see. The site we were in was a grass site that was not level at all. The interior roads were gravel/dirt and quite rough. Satellite TV in our spot was non-existent for roof mount or portable dish. OTA TV was good and T-Mobile phone was good. No park internet available. - RJ56
Sep 2017 - $30.00
This is a hidden gem! Very close to the EAA museum (a must!), shopping and highways. We were here over Labor Day weekend and almost had the place to ourselves. Sites are in the grass, but fairly level. Two camping areas but full hookups were in the trees. Don't plan to be there the last week in July! But do plan to enjoy watching vintage aircraft fly over every day. - Lke

Aug 2018 - $27.00
This is a place you use for the Oshkosh Airshow. We found this to be perfectly acceptable. We were worried from reading reviews, plus they said you get a 20 X 30' space and we are 40'. However, the spaces are more than long enough to fit us, with ample space on the side for the car and our awning. They parked back to back on a huge grass field and two 40' could easily fit front to back. Yes, it is close, there are 1000's of campers there. But the bus service available to take you to the show was great, port-a-potty and trash containers were available within a short walk, and heated mobile shower units placed around. E/W sites available but more money and harder to get. We understand first day arrival is a bit crazy and the last Sunday departure was very busy. Other than that, it was easy in and out. We would definitely use this area again to visit the EAA museum or shows. It was great fun. - dorcol
Jul 2017 - $27.00
We arrived the day before the Astarte of Airventure. The check-in process was as quick & efficient as it could be given the large amount of vehicles checking in. The problem came after that. Chaos is putting it nicely. Although we were told we would each have a 20x30 space there are no markers/lines to show those spaces. So the folks who arrived earlier took more than their allotted space & marked that larger space with tape/flags. After driving through the whole left side of the campground we finally found a spot right next to the highway. It was muddy & rutted. I would suggest going to the right side of the campground to the 24 hour generator area. We discovered open spaces there later. The sound of a generator 24 hours can't possibly be noisier than that highway was. The dump stations were easy to access. We left 3 days early & the checkout/refund process was quick $ efficient. Highly recommend EAA put some serious thought into lining out spaces for the future to control the spread of the greedy folks. We would never attend this event in our motor home again. - HS R.
Jul 2016 - $27.00
We arrived for the EAA Air Show and stayed for 8 nights. You must be an EAA member to use the campground. Check-in was efficient. We were told to go to the right and pick any 20 X 30 foot of lawn we wanted. We found a patch of lawn between two trees that provided some shade. There are no services unless you chose to purchase an electric and water site for $67.00 a night. This is the campground if you want to see the EAA Air Show without moving your car. There is a multi lane dump station and numerous fresh water fill up stations. Tips: bring a gray water dump container, a generator for power, rope to mark your space, stakes, and containers to haul fresh water. - travelcouple

We have stayed at this park several times over the past two summers because it is near to family and convenient. It lacks sewer and water hookups, but large, clean bathrooms make up for it. The park is well maintained, with long, level, gravel pull through sites. - USA-RVNomads

Small but impressive campground. Price is excellent but there is no sewer hookup and 50 amps are limited to very few. Self register, dump station and water available. - Karen86
Jul 2014 - $15.00
This is intended as an overnight park. The sites are level, gravel with easy access in and out. There is very limited 50-amp. Water and dump is at the office. There are 2 bathrooms / showers in the office area. You will need the key code to use them. Call for the code if needed. Phone and your cellular device will run on 3G, so slow loading on the Internet. There is clear reception whether dome or portable dish. There is no Wi-Fi in the park. We have stayed here 3 times for multiple nights and will return when we return to the area. Address is 1938 E. Main, Omro, WI 54963 - Workamper04

We stayed for EAA Airventure. This park hits the mark where the important items are concerned. The roads are big rig friendly, and the water pressure is fantastic. Wifi is good too. Sewer dump station is on location. Sure it's not your typical "resort" but that's part of what we enjoyed. The campers here were friendly and not rowdy. The owner was very friendly & helpful. We had wonderful seats to watch planes fly over in a relaxed setting. - txtater
Jun 2018 - $26.00
The campground at Osh Vegas Palms Resort is kind of hard to review. It's not really a resort by any means but we had a pretty good week here anyway. Not having a clubhouse and activities and laundry room really doesn't bother us. The issue we had was the lack of a sewer hookup although they had an awkwardly placed dump station. The pullthru had 50amp electrical and water pressure that was so high we were glad we had a good pressure regulator. The pullthru was long enough that if we wanted to stay hooked up we could. We had a good line of sight for our roof mounted satellite dish. For this part of the country the rate isn't that bad, $185 for the week, so it is a park we might consider staying at next time in the area, especially if we remember there is not a sewer hookup and better plan for it. - Bob & Jo
Sep 2016 - $35.00
This is an RV park of last resort. They don't tell you what the rate is until you have already parked. Cash only. Was told rate was $50 per night - for a gravel spot with electricity and water. No cable, no sewer. They settled for less when pushed. Don't believe the sign which reads "Osh Vegas Palms Fabulous Resort"! - lilrvgirl

Chose this campground as it was rated highly by a friend. Owner was arrogant, pricey for what you get. Had to buy wood to get a grill vs a fire ring.
Charged for showers: 3 minutes = 50 cents.
To clean fish: 3 to 4 dollars.
And 5 dollars to dump.
Only thing going for this campground was the view. Won't be back. - M and B
Jun 2016 - $52.00
Sites were unlevel and gravel. Owner made it plain there were no discounts honored. We stayed in pull-through, as we did not want to disconnect tow. Our area had porta potties that were in horrible shape and the smell was intolerable. Electric hookups were in very bad shape and tripped our breakers when we plugged in. Stayed here one night as we were on the road. Beautiful scenery right on the water, but had quite a bit of high grass. This is more of fishing/camping site. Showers and main building were in OK shape. - PTurn85
May 2014 - $45.00
We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend, so we should consider ourselves to even find a camping spot on a holiday weekend. When we arrived (9:10 PM) the office at already closed (9:00) for the night. The problem is they do not have any kind of night check-in procedure unlike any of the 50+ campgrounds we have stayed at over the last five years. The office is located in the owners house, so they were quite upset that we bothered them after the office had closed 10 minutes earlier. After we checked in they gave us a map and wished us luck. We had to find the site ourselves in the dark because the "office was closed." Parking was challenging because the sites are very close together and the roads have very tight corners. The lake flies were absolutely terrible and swarmed around us by the thousands. We had a three night reservation, but left left a day early because doing anything outside was not pleasant. We did not try the bathrooms because the walk was too far with all of the lake flies. On a positive note, our neighbors were friendly, the power was reliable, the water was OK, and we had one of the few full hookup sites. Overall, we pretty much disliked the campground and would not stay here again. - User3641

First, be aware the overnight rate doubles for home Packer games. Small, old park... not very clean and not much grass. Site was pretty level.Spaces tight together. Water/electric only at ours. Might be okay for $20 but definitely not for $76! - DogFriendlyGuy
Jul 2018 - $39.00
Won't stay here again. I answered no to the restroom and shower questions because if you have a larger rig you will have to stay in the upper section which has no shower or restroom facilities. If you need them, you can hike down the dirt driveway onto the road and then hike another few hundred feet down to the lower section where they do have those facilities. The sites are pull through, but very uneven. As said in other reviews, there is a lot of road noise and dust, and we got to experience the sewer smells when the honey wagon came around to pump several of the seasonal camper's tanks. They have a dump station down in the lower lot, but we couldn't make the turns to get to it, so we used Cabella's down the road. - glenstmary
Jul 2018 - $38.00
We stayed in the "hilltop part of the park". The noise from the highway was horrific! There are no toilets or showers in the hilltop section!! We had to walk down a dirt road, then down the street and back into the main part of the park, or you can drive, to get to the showers. Then to find out you have to pay for a shower was more than a little annoying. The gravel pads were not close to being level. It smelled like sewage the whole time. I guess if you need a place to stay overnight you can, but my suggestion is find a hotel with enough room for your rig and stay there for the night. - Chat
