9 RV Parks near Osseo, Wisconsin
Jun 2018 - $38.00
This is an excellent park for families. They have a lot of activities for the children. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Met one of the owners when we had a problem with the awning and he was very helpful and sent one of the workers over to help fix the problem. The sites are gravel but levels and clean. The whole park is clean and you will find no trash on the grounds at all because the owners and staff stop and pick it up. The site spaces are spacious and all the utilities work good. We had good Wi-Fi where we were located. - JR 108
Jun 2018 - $45.00
Perfectly level site and long pull thru. Clean friendly highly recommend this park. - almost- there
Jun 2018 - $39.00
Not as green as some, the grass had a good portion of weeds. Our site, near the front (overnight spots??) had no shade, but other areas did. No dog areas. Park is pretty large with plenty of things to do for those staying longer and with children. TV was OTA, and spotty. - Sergent Major
Jul 2014 - $30.00
I am afraid this "resort" gets the award for the worst campground we have stayed at-ever! First of all, it is NOT a resort, basically a bunch of campsites set in a pine thicket with a bar in the middle. Most people who were there were full time 'summer people'. The road getting there is very, very crooked and narrow, not big rig friendly at all. When I checked in, I asked if they had clean, hot showers, 'oh yes', the lady proprietor assured me. We decided not to unhook to go back down the very crooked road to town to get a bite to eat, so elected to eat at the bar. Very expensive food that was ok at best. We later wished we'd just gone back to town for a meal. The 'clean showers' were a joke, two unisex rooms with a toilet, sink and open shower(no shower curtain), tacked onto the back of the bar. Someone had seen fit to steal all the toilet tissue, so had to provide our own. Apparently the 'full timers' living there use them as their own, as their personal toiletries were scattered all over shower room. Floor was bare concrete, and nasty, nasty, nasty. I hated to even sit my shower bag on the floor, particularly since the entire floor gets wet from the open shower. Overall, just a awful, nasty experience for what I had been assured was a 'very clean, hot shower' by the proprietor. We couldn't wait to get up the next morning and get out of there and find something better. Definitely not worth the price they charge to stay at the 'resort'. - Southwest Travelers
Jun 2018 - $25.00
Very small city campground with lots of long term folks. All friendly. Pay for wifi. Cash or check in envelope at ay station for your site. I made reservations ahead of time and if you go I recommend that you do as well. We had the last spot. There is a golf course adjacent to park. - cchall112
Sep 2016 - $27.00
We have stayed here several times for one night; it is a convenient half way point on one of our usual trips.
The rates have gone up $2 a night since our last visit.
There are several open sites tonight but it is mid-week. All the sites that we drove by are reserved for this weekend.
We like this place. We will stay here again, I am sure. - skigramp
Jul 2015 - $22.00
This is a nice city operated campground. It's a few miles south and west of I94 and within easy driving distance of Eau Claire, about 30 minutes away. There are basically two sections of the campground. The older section consists of sites 1-21. These sites are grass camping spots with plenty of trees and a feeling of privacy. They are also water/electric only. Sites 22-42 are developed gravel campsites offering full hookups. There aren't as many trees, but a few of the sites look out over the upper portion of the lake. Many of the others border a big open grassy area that has a mown park-like feel. There are restroom/shower buildings in both sections of the park as well a big children's playground and two volleyball courts - these get a lot of use by the locals. Adjacent to the campground and, in fact, right next to several of the campsites in the older section of the campground is a nice nine-hole golf course. If a person likes to golf they can basically walk out of their camper and onto a fairway. My Verizon 4G worked well and since we were backed up to a wide open field I had no problem at all getting a satellite signal. Also worth mentioning is that the campground has excellent WiFi, a rare find in most any campground. - nazpaz

Oct 2017 - $40.00
"New Owners - very nice park" There are new owners and they are very nice and accommodating. Park is very clean and good size level sites. We have a 42' class A and we had a great pull-through spot. They also have a few cabins. We are planning on bringing our RV club back next summer. They have a very nice enclosed room great for club meetings/meals. One of the cleanest parks I have ever stayed at. The new owners were very friendly. Very nice stay. - Dr Don
Aug 2010 - $40.00
Their website says $30 a night. They actually charge $30 a night PLUS $5 a person. Very unstable electric and the owner admits he wired it himself. They tried putting us in a site that was too small and would have had the front of our MH sticking out into the road. Way overpriced for the condition of this campground. - srt20
Oct 2009 - $16.00
Very nice campground. Gravel roads and sites. Some shade sites, some without shade. Very nice playground for kids. Good Wi-Fi. Looks like they have about 30 more sites in development. Most sites were filled with seasonal rigs so there were only a few available. Our rate was using PA. We stayed for one night, but would stay again and for longer. - sendthefire
Aug 2013 - $23.00
Friendly 90yo owner. Peaceful country setting, but lots of aunts. We sprayed and had no intruders. Hubby said bathroom was old, but serviceable. Lots of older rigs that appear to be stored there. Saw very few people milling about. Great place to stay when visiting family in Eau Claire. Would stay again. - KejLrtj
Sep 2008 - $19.00
This campground is located about 4 ½ miles southeast of Eau Clair along Hwy 12 not far off of I-94. The owner is a fellow that is 86 years young. He doesn’t do any of the work around the campground. There is a seasonal tenant that does most of the work and the grounds are well kept. The campground is located on about 12 acres of treed land and fairly level. There are not a lot of full hookup sites and most of these are taken up by seasonal campers. Many of the seasonal campers look like they are just barely able to make ends meet. Sites: Full-hookup sites are VERY narrow. Most are level and sandy/grassy. Electric is 30 amps. Most sites have at least water and electric. Numerous sites are suitable for satellite reception. Campground in General: The bath house is a very tired cinder block structure. It’s dark, wet and dingy and not very well maintained or cleaned. You’ll want to use your own unit. There is also a Laundromat in the back of the bath house and rates are less than the local economy. The back of the campground is used for trailer/vehicle storage. Pets are allowed. We had no issues with uncontrolled pets or barking. You will hear highway noise, but it’s not bad. There are many ‘ol duffers who come here every year. They are very friendly and will jump at any chance to help you. This is the closest campground to Eau Claire. Rates are okay; we paid $19/night for full hookups. There’s no website, like I said, Elmer is 86 years old and doesn’t have a clue about computers. There is no Wi-Fi or other means of internet access. Go to the Arby’s on Bus 53 for a free hotspot. Shoot on up to Chippewa Falls and take the Leinenkugel's brewery tour. You'll love it!! - DelArmy
Sep 2018 - $52.00
Other recent reviews should be considered. We were very happy here. Road noise, and train noise, stopped us from giving it a 10. Wifi was excellent even over the Labor Day holiday! Cable TV was good but since our satellite worked well, we didn't use the cable. Office staff very helpful! Verizon worked fine. No grocery shopping nearby. The site on the upper terraces are terrific. Good spacing between sites, long pull throughs. A nicely landscaped campground. A terrific KOA! - rncordy
Aug 2018 - $45.00
This the prettiest camp ground we have ever stayed at. There were flower gardens everywhere. There is a large dog park. Well maintained hiking trail. Lots of things for families and children. We would definitely stay here again. - dmpemt
Aug 2018 - $43.00
Stayed for the night in a pull through site - rained tons but early the next morning the staff was pick up tree limbs and regrading the interior roads that had washed out Very quiet campground as its 3 miles east of the freeway Great campground. - rr2254545
Jul 2016 - $25.00
This park worked very well for our purpose so I rated accordingly. The campground is located on the Eau Claire Exposition grounds. The sites for RVs and other travel trailers that use electric are in a parking lot. We were the only ones there. The contact person said unless there is an event at the Expo Center the campground is sparsely used. Tents sites are located in a field near the picnic area.
The Restrooms are next to the picnic area and are clean and well lit. A single spacious shower is available for men and one for women. The park is clean, well lit and safe. However, there is no one on duty all the time. It is not somewhere to stay for a lengthy stay to be one with nature. It is a convenient , clean and safe place to stay on the way to a final destination or if you are involved in an Expo Event. - skeeter417
Jun 2015 - $25.00
If there are no events going on these campsites are for rent. The Expo center is easy on/off I-94 and good for an overnight . The location is only a few miles from major shopping and restaurants. The electric sites are 20 amp so you have to decide what you need on. If you have pets there is plenty of room to walk and trash cans to dispose of waste. There is also a walking trail with an honor pay station. Very quiet at night. - petpeople
Jul 2018 - $23.00
We camped here for 2 nights and really enjoyed the park. It is a typical wooded county campground, with no formal pads for parking, areas of nice grass, and areas of patchy grass or nearly bare dirt. Some sites are quite level, but with quite a few of the sites you'll need to adjust where you park to find a level (or close to level) spot. The beach is a very nice, large sandy beach, and you can swim out a nice distance from shore (50-100'). The lake is under 100 acres, but large enough to do a little tubing or water skiing. The beach and lake are technically not at the campground, but are part of Rock Dam Park that is "across the street" from the campground. It is a low speed limit road that was lightly traveled. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our site was at the bottom of the hill, which we discovered is not ideal for gnat and skeeter control. The higher elevation sites have more air flow, reducing the number of flying bugs. Note that the site sizes vary, and quite a several are only large enough for a tent, or a pop-up, or smaller travel trailer. Others are easily large enough for a 5th wheel or motorhome. A tent site may be directly between two larger sites. Many sites share an electric post (dedicated circuits for each site, two circuits per post), and sometimes the electric post is not always in the most convenient spot. We picked a site where the post is on the driver's side when backing into the site. Since they share posts, the site next to us would have a less convenient placing of electric. The ATV section is in the back of the campground and ATV's are not allowed to drive through the "non-ATV" section, so their noise was very minimal in the main campground. Showers are coin operated, but were clean. The main restrooms are flush toilets, but there are also a couple vault toilets. Each evening, we saw the sheriff drive through several times, just keeping an eye out. We really enjoyed our time there and would definitely return. - chwi03
Jun 2011 - $16.00
This is a great park that we visit every year! The people are friendly. They have a very nice beach just across the street from the campground and a creek with some small rapids that the kids tube down. The sites are easy to access; everything is clean. Two things to note - if it's raining hard, the sites in the middle are in a dip, and they tend to get very soggy. And sites on the left (on the map) are all ATV sites (drive in and out) which is great when we bring our ATVs, but if you're not a rider it can get a little noisy, and it's pretty dusty. Overall a great park to stay at, though. - everydaycamper
Jun 2007 - $20.00
This is a small but very friendly campground. The owner was very nice and helpful, he even helped us hook up our water and electric while we chatted. They are located on ATV trails (very beautiful) and have ATV rentals. Very nice campground would definitely camp again. - cathycamping
