Overall Rating:

This park was quite a surprise. It is excellently planned out, developed, and maintained. Paved roads are wide. Sites are gravel and each has a concrete patio. Sites are large and lots of trees give a sense of privacy. There is a lot of open space, wooded space, and activities. There are lots of activities for both young and older kids including pool, very impressive skate park, air bag, mini-golf, pond with beach, basketball court, and a laser tag field. But even if you don't have kids, this place is great. There is a lot of obvious pride in this place and I really enjoyed a short stay. I'd stay longer if back in the area. We camped at Stoney Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Of all the RV Parks we have short-term stayed in over the past year, Stoney Creek was the best. Express check-in (we didn't have to get out of our vehicle), wide roads and level sites with lots of room on either side. Many excellent amenities for families, plenty of space to walk our dog and walk around the park ourselves. Very clean and well maintained. Our site had good internet and satellite reception. The park is away from bright lights and the stars are so bright you feel like you can reach out and touch them. Excellent store and a snack bar with a nice menu. Overall we had a great stay and will definitely come again. We camped at Stoney Creek RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

For a good place to eat, try Northwoods Brew Pub on West Street in Osseo. Very good local beer and great food.

Overall Rating:

I tried submitting this last night but It wouldn't take because of some glitch (a message with 3 or 4 capital letters) with in this site. We haven't been here in about 10 years. As others have noted, because of all the recreational amenities, this is a great park for families. We were happy to get a pull through, FHU site for one weeknight just before the 4th of July. Since our site was satellite friendly, we didn't bother with the cable TV. The WiFi was adequate for our minimal (e-mail and web surfing) needs. The laundry facility and bathrooms were clean but we didn't use the showers because you had to pay for them. The staff was helpful and there is recycling. We camped at Stoney Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park with large sites and nice people working here. There are lots of activities and play areas for kids, to include a skate park. There are fees for wristbands to use the play areas. The site was nice and clean with FHU. They have a laundry room is clean, but there are only two washers with 6 dryers. The dryers are $1.50 each but run a long time and get the clothes dry in one cycle. They have showers; however, you must pay to use them. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Stoney Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

There is a really cool antique shop called The Nickel just outside the park. We enjoyed browsing; they had a lot of neat stuff if you're into country antiques.

We are full-timers and this is by far the best park we’ve been in. The interior roads are very wide. Sites are plenty long for my 42 foot motor home and full size truck. Lots of activities in the park. The seasonal campers are in a different area from others. Lots of areas to walk. All areas/sites are very clean. Will definitely come again, if in the area. We camped at Stoney Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is an excellent park for families. They have a lot of activities for the children. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Met one of the owners when we had a problem with the awning and he was very helpful and sent one of the workers over to help fix the problem. The sites are gravel but levels and clean. The whole park is clean and you will find no trash on the grounds at all because the owners and staff stop and pick it up. The site spaces are spacious and all the utilities work good. We had good Wi-Fi where we were located. We camped at Stoney Creek RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Not as green as some, the grass had a good portion of weeds. Our site, near the front (overnight spots??) had no shade, but other areas did. No dog areas. Park is pretty large with plenty of things to do for those staying longer and with children. TV was OTA, and spotty. We camped at Stoney Creek RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Park like feel to this RV resort. Extensive grassy areas are very green and well manicured. Sites are staggered and there is no feeling of being next-door to another RV. We camped at Stoney Creek RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed here a hear ago and gave it high ratings. Now, on a summer weekend, it was not pleasant. They let too many people on a site - some had 2 large tents plus an RV and several cars and what looked like several families. Made the park way too crowded and loud. They seem to not enforce their own quiet hour rules. We will not come again on a weekend. We camped at Stoney Creek RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice campground with large roads and pull thru spots. The pool and little store were nice. It is very easy to find and there are fuel stops at the exit. The staff was very pleasant. We only stayed one night while passing thru, but we would go back often if it wasn't over 700 miles from our house. We camped at Stoney Creek RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is one of the nicest RV parks we've stayed in during over 7000 miles of traveling this year. Huge sites - both long and wide. You are not close to your next door neighbor. Some shady spots, some more open. Concrete patios. All the amenities you could want including stuff for kids. Roads easy to navigate. Our price reflected a special deal for special weekend activitiy. Large park so if you like to walk, there is plenty of room. Great owners too. We camped at Stoney Creek RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Paid for two nights received third night free. Was Halloween weekend and lots of kids who were well mannered and courteous. Excellent sites with cement pad and plenty of space between sites. Excellant Friday night fish and chicken buffet at Osseo Golf Club. Groceries expensive at Gordy's. Cheaper at a Stockman's and only about 1/2 mile away.

Park is very clean and well maintained.Sites are wide and services are good.Lots of activities available.Gas stations and restaurants are close by.Interstate nearby is noisy,Golf cart rentals cause problems as parents let young people drive them and treat them as toys not vehicles.Rate reasonable but would not stay here on weekend as rates jump up $14.00 per night, and that's for the same site and amenities, does not seem fair. We have stayed at Stoney Creek a few times over the past years. I have not reviewed the park until this year. Apparently the park changed hands a couple years ago. The transition was seamless. Well maintained property. Good mix of younger families and empty nesters. Wide, easily accesssable, level sites. Close proximity to Interstate 94. That's good and not so good, if you are looking for complete silence in the campground. Some highway noise at night, but not detracting. Plenty of family amenities. Nice pool/splash area. Nice community room. Did not try the pizza, so can't comment on it. Plenty to do in the park and many attractions close by. We'll camp here again.
